Chapter 8:-5

"Then relax and do everything as I say and you can stay." His fingers have hooked around the zip of my jeans. Slowly he pulls it down his fingers ghosting over the fabric of my underwear. His hands are quick to move to my top as he continues to speak. "If you're good at this you won't have to return to Ryder." Everything happens quickly after that. The three male officers pulling him off the top of me are a blur and the brown haired woman that was sitting me up and hiding me beneath a loose sheet, her soft words are lost in a haze. He can't keep me from Ryder. My hand wraps around my chest as I shot up in the bed. My breath is stuck in my throat and I can't breathe. It was so vivid. Every little detail that I remembered so well but buried so deeply was as clear as crystal glass. Sweat drips from my body as I slide my hand up my chest to grip at my throat. My hand moves slickly just like my legs do against the soft sheets that are all twisted and tangled at the end of the bed. The cold breeze from before I feel asleep is gone and I'm left now alone in the stuffy heat. I've been awake for only a few seconds but already my desperate shuffling to relax myself and get my breathing in order has landed me on the floor in a disturbed heap. In that short time Theo and Cyrus have entered the room. "Lottie!" the both of them exclaim in quick panicked breathes. Shifting to lie on my back, one hand massages my throat were my breath is coming out quickly and laboured, the other one is digging at the soft carpet. My airways seem to be more opened now with my new position. My head turns to look at Theo who's knelt next to my side, not touching me. He's arguing with Charlie about something but I can't hear them they're voices are muffled through the loud noise my breathing is causing. "I need to go to Ryder." I whisper finally getting some words out of my mouth. My arms have a substantial amount of strength in them compared to how my lungs are working at the moment and I easily push myself up, knocking away Theo's hands when he tries to help me. I only get to resting most of my weight on my hands before I'm stopped. "Lottie you can't leave the room." Cyrus says softly his eyes flicking towards Theo. Shaking my head at him I try to move back closer to the door. "I-I can't breathe. I need to go to him." Cyrus sighs and he gives Theo another quick look before he nods and his eyes glaze over, his hands still preventing me from moving from where I am. He shakes his head after a little while. "I can't get in. I'm being blocked out." He says quietly to Theo. Theo whispers something that might be 'Alex' but my words are louder over his. "Take me to him." I all but scream, my arms giving in and I fall back down onto the carpet, my breathing taking another turn for the worse. Cyrus leaves the room, disappearing from my sight. My chest is hurting now that my breathing has grown more shallow, shakes over taking my body. When Theo's hand begins to run up and down my spine I allow it to. I've curled myself up into a ball and I hear Theo trying to reassure me. His voice is soft but it's not doing me any good. I'm lying on the ground for another ten minutes, tears falling from my eyes before I hear the door to the suite open, a deep voice arguing with Cyrus as the door slams back closed with a loud bang that makes me jump. Theo's hand is quick to move from my body when Ryder comes into the room. His eyes instantly lock on mine, my breathing relaxing in the slightest at the sight of the beautiful hazel colour. He's shaking lightly as he moves closer to me. He kneels much like Theo was with his weight resting back on his lower legs. His arms are soft as they wrap around me, sliding my body up into his lap. He's holding me securely around the waist completely ignoring my injury, even though at the moment I feel no pain from it, other the warm shocks that I know well. "Lottie, what happened?" he whispers lifting his hand to run it through my hair. I expected his touch to calm me but it isn't working. It's early in the morning but he's still wearing the clothes he had on from this morning and there's no sign that he's slept in them. One of my hands wraps around the neck of his shirt, my fingers making contact with the skin of his chest. He shakes a little at the touch, still waiting for me to answer his question. "He-he was in m-my dream." My voice stutters as I try to keep control of my breathing. Ryder's hold tightens around me and he growls against my temple where I can feel his lips moving. "He can't hurt you anymore Lottie. I won't let him."
