Chapter 30 Thirty

Chapter 30 Thirty
"The Fashion week is fast approaching, Doreen. We really need to get all hands in desk. How many of the designs we chose has been worked on?" Alexandra asked as she dropped her bag and sat on her office chair, check-in through the designs.

"Two has been made."

"Only two? This is just few weeks to the Fashion show. How the hell are we going to meet up?" Alexandra hissed angrily as she switched off the tablet, dropping it on her table.

"The problem is about our materials. We got some materials from Dubai, but they have not been sent yet. When I called the factory some days ago, they assured us that the materials has been sent out but it hasn't arrived yet. I don't know what the problem is."

"Doreen." Alexandra looked at her, "Why are you just telling me this now?" She raised her brow and Doreen pursed her lips.

"I thought I'll be able to resolve this easily..."

"Every matters like this are supposed to come to my desk." Alexandra said and she nodded.

"I'm sorry ma'am."

"I'll like a video call with the supplier. Ask when they'll be available for us to talk."

"Yes ma." Doreen said calmly and walked out of the office, leaving Alexandra frustrated.

She sat on the chair as she looked for alternatives incase something really happened to the goods on the way, there has been stories of missing goods or goods that fell into the seas.

"Oh my God." She stretched her neck tiredly after surfing through the internet and her contacts for a long time. Another call came in and she immediately cleared her throat to start talking.

She walked out of the company, pressing her remote in her hands when she suddenly saw Stella at the gate, staring at her.

She sighed as she dropped her bag in the car and then walked to the gate, to meet up with her.

"What are you doing in front of my company?"

"You had a problem showing your face at even your own gala. But you didn't have one when you decided to show up at the meeting." Stella smiled.

"Seeing how desperate you were to talk to me, to the extent you stood in front of my company, you had better spill it out fast. I don't have time to wait with someone as jobless as you are." Alexandra replied and she scoffed.

"I hope you are able to say I'm desperate when everyone finds out that you have kids outside marriage."

"How is that a problem?" Alexandra asked as she folded her hands, "Don't tell me you think I'll be ashamed of my children?" She added and Stella frowned.

"By the way, Liam told you that, didn't he? Was that the reason you broke up with him?" She raised her brows.

"You thought I broke up with Liam?" Stella asked and Alexandra smiled.

"Then what? Liam broke up with you?"

"Yes, he did. Because he said he wanted to play a fvcking father role to your godforsaken ki-"

A slap landed across her cheeks before she could finish her sentence. She gasped, blinking unbelievably as she stared at Alexandra who was staring at her angrily.

"I don't care what you say about Liam, but if you dare insult my kids, I'll make you live to regret having a mouth." She said seriously and turned to leave.

"You should never have come back. Things would have been alright without you. Look, you wrecked my relationship and my company!"

Alexandra turned back, walking to her furiously, "I didn't wreck anything. You just refused to stay in your place, you were covetous and greedy. Five years ago and now, you are always in places you should never be in, stealing things. Get out of my company, Stella and this should be the last time I see you on my property."

"Do you think that Liam would come back to beg you because of his kids? Enjoy the love now, Alexa, because you know, as always, Liam would come back to me." Stella hissed and Alexandra nodded her head slowly.

"Why don't you go wait then? And make use of your life while waiting." She said and turned back, getting into her car. She switched the engine on and revved out of the compound, almost hitting Stella with her car if she had not jumped out of the way and then she drove off to pick her kids from school.

Enjoy the love, Alexa, because you know, as always, Liam would always come back to me. The words pricked her heart like a sharp knife. She had experienced it, Liam running foolishly, back to Stella after she had broken his heart into many pieces. He had divorced her without any tangible reasons. And that's why she wasn't going to go easy on him, whether he wanted forgiveness or not, or whether he wanted to be back in her life. She had closed up forever, to love.

The car came to a stop in the school's parking lot and she came down from it. At that moment, Jade and Jace came out.

"Mom!!" Jade screamed as she rushed to Alexandra and Alexandra picked her up, all her anger and frustrating dissipating as she stared at her little cuties.

"How was school today?" She ruffled Jace's hair and gave him a peck on his forehead as he smiled.

"It was fine."

She noticed there were large bowls of ice cream in Jade's hand and she looked at her.

"Where'd you get this-" She stopped when she saw Liam come out from the corner with a male teacher beside him.

"Did Liam get this for you?" She asked and Jade nodded.

"Jace didn't want to accept it, so I took both." Jade said gleefully and Alexandra sighed.

"Kids, get into the car." She said and Jade shook her head.

"Dad said he was going to take us home."

"But I'm here right? Before your dad came here, I usually took you home, so what's the problem with me doing that now? Jade, get into the car." She said, getting pissed off and that was when Liam heard her voice and turned. Jade had a sour look on her face and immediately Liam looked at them, she started crying.

"Jade." Liam called and rushed towards them.
