CHAPTER 18: TRAGEDY
SOFIE/THIRD PERSON
Today is Fatima at Lucas’s wedding. I’m happy for them and I’m happy that I can already see Liam after the wedding.
“ look at you, your so beautiful” her wedding gown is just simple and it looks perfect.
“ what was that look like?” she ask.
“you’re so beautiful, I can’t believe that you are getting married” I approach her.
“ I’m just getting married don’t worry you will see him after this, are you excited?” she smiled.
“ Is he handsome?“ I ask.
“ Uhm Yes!” She said
Knock knock
“ Okay, it seems that we need to go down now. ” I said
“ wait let me breath” She took a deep breath and we went down. It was a beach wedding.
“ Young Lady everything’s okay now,” said the coordinator, I smiled but I saw someone, it looks like Thalia but she was in jail right? I felt worried.
“ bestie! Why is your face like that?”
“ huh? Nothing, I just thought I’ve seen Thalia” I saw her face so worried.
“ Are you sure? Is she planning something?” I calm down myself.
“ don’t bother it, maybe it’s just another girl who looks like her” it’s her wedding so she should be happy and not worried.
“ Okay,” she smiled and fix ourselves. The grooms were done walking
I will be the next to walk, finally, I will see Liam! My heart was beating fast that time, as I walk slowly, Liam’s face is getting clearer and clearer.
BOOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
Something blew up in front of Liam and it continued blowing and I don’t know what is happening already.
THIRD-PERSON
Everyone was shocked and was in a panic because of the incident happened, many of the guests were injured together with the Montequinto except for the four siblings. Lucas and Fatima died because of it, they weren’t able to see their bodies. Liam’s face was burned so he needs to undergo surgery to bring back his face while Sofie’s back was burned and full of bruises.
“ Sofie, we need to bring Liam to a professional doctor to treat his wounds”. Said Madam Vivian.
She was quiet that time and still in shock at what happened to Fatima and Lucas. She became sadder when she heard what happened to Liam. Liam was ao angry and he doesn’t want anybody to get near him even the doctors.
“ Sofie, you need to heal yourself and get strong for Liam, you are the only one left for him” added Madam Vivian, Sofie look at her and her tears fell down
“ Sofie please promise me, after Liam’s treatment was done please accept whatever he looks and status he has, do not give up on him” ask Madam Vivian.
“let’s see what I can do,” she said
“ Sofie, after the treatment, we’ll continue your marriage with Liam but in the meantime please take care of everything here,” said Don Ricardo.
“ Okay I will,” said Sofie silently.
“ can I talk to Liam first before you go?” ask Sofie, Madam was worried at that time but she let her talk to Liam.
They took Young Lady to Liam’s room. There is a wall covering him because that was what Young Master Liam wants.
“ Liam” she called him silently.
“ get out” shouted Liam to Sofie.
“ Liam please don’t push me away” ask Sofie
“ can’t you understand? I don’t want anybody talking to me!” shouted Liam. Sofie was trembling
“ Liam please get strong and come back to me,” said Sofie sadly.
“ don’t worry if the marriage that you are worried for I can give it to you “ Sofie got hurt for what Liam said
“ I just want you to be back,” said Sofie.
“ back? There is no reason for me to go back. My brother was already dead. Now that he is already dead, so am I. Don’t even think that I’ll come back for you because you are just somebody. Who the hell are you! After you came into us our life was ruined!” Sofie cried after hearing what Liam said.
After hearing that Sofie left him. The next day she knew that they already left. She was still in France and she is the one taking care of the business while they are gone.
One thing is clear to her, the Liam he knew will never come back again.
