Chapter 10: Who the Hell Are You to See Me?
She wanted to open his mouth and ask clearly who the woman was.
But she didn't have the chance to ask.
Michael suddenly appeared and picked up the frantic William, his gaze towards Jessica radiating a fierce aura, "Get out."
The chill emanating from Michael seemed to freeze the room into an ice cellar.
Jessica was suddenly so frightened by this roar that she couldn't speak, and tears welled up in her eyes.
The arrogance and anger she had just displayed seemed to be extinguished, her heart pounding with fear, "Michael, please don't drive me away."
"That was just an accident, and it will never happen again."
If she left now, it would probably be difficult to come back in the future.
Jessica was afraid and angry.
William was causing trouble for her.
Michael's anger showed fiercely. "Have you forgotten what I just said?”
“If it weren't for giving birth to William, who the hell are you to see me?"
"Michael?"
Jessica exclaimed, tears streaming down her face.
This time she was crying, really wronged, "Please, don't make me leave."
She begged bitterly, wishing she could kneel to Michael.
But Michael's eyes were only full of disgust and impatience. After looking away, he said coldly, "Robby, take care of it and then call Alan."
"Yes."
"Michael, Michael...".
Jessica ignored her image and crawled to grab Michael's pants.
But Michael didn’t spare her a second glance. All that was left was a coldness that cut like a knife, reaching the depths of her heart.
The lingering air held his unique scent, proving that he had just been there.
Jessica looked up, tears streaming down her face, "Why did you have to..."
"Let go of me."
Jessica was forcibly dragged out of the villa.
As she turned back, she glanced at the tightly closed villa door, feeling unwillingness in her heart.
Inside the villa.
William's emotions were still unsettled.
At times, he would angrily shout, and at times tears would flow in pain, but no matter what, he always called out, "Beautiful lady. I want the beautiful lady."
Alan had arrived, trying all the methods commonly used to treat William, but to no avail.
After over an hour, he sighed helplessly, "This time it's different from before."
“William is constantly thinking about that woman, otherwise..."
As he spoke, he observed Michael's expression and cautiously suggested, "Otherwise, let that woman try?"
He had no better way, perhaps the woman's presence would help calm William.
Although Michael didn't say anything, the expression on his face rejected Alan's suggestion.
The woman's motives had not been determined, so she must not be allowed to approach William.
"I want the pretty lady."
William continued to sob bitterly, causing him to start to retch.
"Michael?"
Alan looked at William who was in discomfort and felt a pang of heartache, urging Michael to make a decision.
Would Michael not feel sorry for William?
It was just that in the current situation, he was distressed.
Alan knew his concerns, but there was no way around it, so he couldn't help but persuade, "Just give it a try.”
“Do you still remember what I told you before, that if someone can get William to express his thoughts voluntarily, the illness will be cured?"
These words made Michael frown even more tightly. Looking at the breakdown William, he finally compromised, saying helplessly, "It's very late, and if you want that woman, just give her a call."
Upon hearing this, William who couldn't take in anything, suddenly calmed down.
...
Even the retching and trembling reaction suddenly stopped, and he looked at Michael in disbelief.
Michael could only dial Jennifer's number in front of him.
It took a while for Jennifer to answer the phone.
"Hello, who is this?"
