Chapter 62
Rosalie's POV
"Are you really this shameless? You don't even try to hide it! You came here like this, expecting me to believe you didn't sleep together, huh? Isn't that right, you shameless bitch?" I said angrily to Olivia, pouring out all my hurt and anger. But once again, she shifted her expression to one of innocence, as if I were the one in the wrong and she was the innocent one.
I wonder what she's thinking of me with that wicked mind of hers, or what she and Cameron are scheming together. If they think they can treat me like a plaything and mock me like this, they're mistaken. I swear I won't let them get away with it; they can't betray me like this and expect to walk away unscathed.
Cameron dropped his phone on the bed in frustration, not knowing what to do anymore, and he tried to touch me again. "Rosalie, just calm down, let me explain everything to you." I moved away from him quickly before he could touch me, tears rolling down my cheeks.
Rosalie, why are you treating me like this? I haven't done anything wrong to you! Why do you hate me so much? I came here because Cameron would be away, and I thought we were supposed to be close. But it seems you hate me more than anything," Olivia said, feigning innocence and wiping away her fake tears that I could see right through.
"Olivia, stop crying. Rosalie is just having a misunderstanding. You can leave; I'll handle this," Cameron said to Olivia as she continued to dab at her eyes.
"Rosalie, please don't worry. I'll just leave because I don't want to be the reason you and Cameron separate. Even though Cameron and I have been friends since childhood, I don't mind if our friendship changes. I just want to avoid any misunderstandings between you two..."
"Stop crying, Olivia! I told you I'll handle this myself. You can go!" Cameron interrupted, but Olivia refused to listen.
"Please, Cameron, let me clear up some misunderstandings so she'll know that even if she thinks of me as a bad person, I still know my heart is pure when I'm away," Olivia said tearfully. My heart broke again as Cameron urged Olivia to stop crying, although she was faking innocence, completely ignoring the painful tears streaming down my own face.
I feel utterly betrayed, and I never imagined it would be Cameron of all people. Just the day after he took my virginity, he brought another woman home and started treating me like trash in front of her and both of them wanted to be making a fool out of me.
"Nothing happened between Cameron and me. As you can see, everything happening here right now doesn't look like we had sex, right? You can think whatever you want from now on. Even if Cameron explains everything to you, you can choose not to believe him. Honestly, I don't care anymore because I'll be leaving today," Olivia said innocently. But anyone listening would know she meant something entirely different and she wasn't trying to prove her innocence to me at all.
Cameron glanced at me as if what Olivia just said was right, and that gave me another proof that he knew the kind of game Olivia was playing. They just wanted to continue fooling me so he could keep fucking me all he wanted while also keeping Olivia to himself in secret, and...
When he's finally done with me, using me like trash, he will get rid of me, and both of them will admit to me what they really are. They'll make me feel even more foolish and heartbroken than I already do. That's what I think they're trying to do, but I won't let it happen, even though my heart is still struggling to accept everything that's going on.
If Cameron didn't know anything about what Olivia was doing, he would have caught the hint in her earlier words. But since he was aware, he acted as if he didn't.
As soon as Cameron turned to me, Olivia seized the opportunity to stick her tongue out at me in mockery, and my anger finally got the best of me.
I didn't think twice before pulling Olivia closer by her hair. She screamed in pain, but I wasn't ready to let go. In a sudden surge of anger, I sank my teeth into her neck. At that moment, I felt capable of killing her without a second thought.
"Ahhhhhh!" Olivia screamed in agony, and I could taste her blood in my mouth. I immediately spat it out and bit her again in another spot, refusing to stop even as she struggled in my grip and Cameron tried to intervene.
"Rosalie, stop! What the heck are you doing?" Cameron yelled as he suddenly pulled Olivia away from me. She was crying in pain, touching her bleeding neck, and Cameron looked furious.
"Go wait for me in your room," he said to Olivia. She nodded, casting me one last menacing look before finally walking out of the room.
"Are you crazy, Rosalie? Why did you hurt her this much? She's innocent of what you're accusing her of, so stop this madness right now!" Cameron yelled angrily at me for the first time. Tears streamed down my face, and before I knew it, I had raised my hand and slapped him hard across the face. He gasped in shock.
"You just yelled at me because of her, and you say she's innocent? Then what am I, the evil one?" I mumbled, my voice filled with hurt.
"You don't have to defend her in secret anymore. I'll leave so you both can do whatever you want, just like you were planning to do before you got rid of me yourself," I added.
"I won't let you keep using me, because it's clear that's what you want to do, and you never liked me in the first place. Right now, I hate you the most, Cameron, and I swear I'll make you regret this," I said, my voice filled with hurt, sadness, and anger as I began to walk out of the room. The worst part was that Cameron didn't even try to stop me as I left, tears streaming down my face.
