CHAPTER 18
*****IN AN ABANDONED WAREHOUSE*****
“Are you going to do as we have said? It is very simple. Call your brother Black and tell him that you are captured. And we will let you walk out of here alive and this instant.” A deep gruff voice said as the tied up and blindfolded victim squirmed a bit trying to get loose but she couldn’t. One thing she knew, she was walking to work then next thing happens and she is being kidnapped.
“Do you really think that I am a fool? If you really thought that I am going to fall for that cheap trick, you better rethink your strategic ideas. There is no way you are letting me go after I do as you have said. This is not my first kidnapping and I know how to deal with cheap skates like you.” Casita yelled as she struggled to break free from the chair but the rope was too tight and was cutting into her skin.
“Hmmm, feisty, I like this kind. How about we have some fun instead, while we wait. I guarantee you that I am a monster in bed.” He said as he twirled with her hair but she just pulled back from his reach and said,
“Great, and now I am about to lose my lunch. Why on earth would I want to get right down nasty with you. You must be a pedophile. Let me go this instant.” She yelled as the man just chuckled.
“It seems like we have strayed out from our original business. Tell me Black’s phone number and we will have a nice chat with him, and then you can be on your way. But if you insist on being a smart aleck, we have a lot of ways to make you talk.” He said as Casita rolled her eyes although she was blindfolded and couldn’t see a thing.
“Well la di da. I am not interested. And since when did colors started having numbers? Very soon, you will tell me to give you the phone number of purple or white. Listen to me, mister. You got the wrong damsel in distress here. I do not know who Black is. Can I go now? I am getting irritated and the chance for me to see my favourite role model is running away quickly. Seriously, you guys chose a wring day to kidnap.” She said as the man suddenly grew angry and said,
“Do you think this is a joke? That we are playing with you? Better tell us what we in, or I guarantee that you are going to die a slow and painful death.” The man said as he gripped her cheeks tightly, crushing her jaw as Casita bit her lips to subdue the pain. There was no way on earth that she was going to let this anonymous man that she was scared, hurting and terrified of her life.
“Well then, in that case, I rather die.” She said spitting at him as she smelled his cologne which indicated he was slightly above her.
“Good, I had hoped you would say that. Bring in the torture equipment.” He said in a loud voice as the guards at the door glanced at each other not moving.
“Boss…with all due respect. She’s a girl.” One of them said literally shaking at the glare the boss gave him.
“Gee thanks for identifying the specie, as I was too blind to do so myself.” He said cocking the gun as he shot him point blank in the middle of his forehead and turned to the other guy who hurriedly scurried out of there, as he scoffed.
“That’s what I thought.” Turning to face the girl, he pulled off her blindfold and looked straight into her eyes and said,
“And tonight, you are going to know why they called me the Masked Devil.” Casita gasped as she heard of this. She has always heard rumors about this man, and her brother Black never really knew who he was, or rather pretended not to have any thing to do with him. He was known as Black’s rival. Actually he was the only one who was capable of replacing Black’s reputation as the number 1 Mafia Lord. Even her brother’s friend, Michael and Mikey was no where in his league.
“What the hell had her brother got her into, and how was she going to survive. More over, there was no way of communicating to Olive. Or Rose? Was she back? Did they know she was missing?
This was why she wanted to leave the family business behind her, but for some reason, it kept on following her like a plague.
“Brother Black. Please help me.” She said in her mind as a form of prayer as the man pulled off her blindfold and stared at her. She squinted and as soon as her vision was clear, she realized that she was staring into a perfectly shade of green eyes similar to hers.
“Holy Smudge, this man was beautiful. Yet cold.”
“Shall we get started?” The man said holding a perfectly sculpted knife in his hands as she gulped, biting her lips.
She was so D.E.A.D

“I am sorry that you had to go through all of this alone but I am here now. We will find Casita home and bring her back, but first you need to tell me everything that happened. And we also need to clean up this mess.” Rose said looking around as Olive fixed her glasses and nodded her head.
They stood up as Rose quickly got to work re arranging every upturned furniture as Olive focused her attention on the sprawled clothes on the floor as they kept on talking.
“What do you think we can do? We don’t even know the mess that Casita is into. Who knows if they are actually torturing her at the moment. What should we do, Rose? Should we damn all consequences and go to the police?” Olive said as Rose shushed her.
“There may be bugs here. Let’s keep quiet for now.” She motioned with sign movement as Olive understood and kept quiet. Just then, they heard a phone ringing. It seemed to be coming from a drawer.
