Chapter 27 CHAPTER 027
Ari POV:
I slammed the novel I'd been reading shut with all the pent up anger I'd been feeling. Not only did his two-goodie shoes woman insulted me at the breakfast table. He had acted as if I was irrelevant too, barely sparing me a glance.
It wasn't supposed to bother me considering how much I was supposed to loathe him but it did. And my heart ached as I continously replayed the breakfast exchange.
Damn Sierra. No one would be willing to fight her over a man, not even Alpha Stone. So she needs to pipe down and suck his dick.
As for me, I needed to beg or no, convince Alpha Stone that he could release me into the woods for all I care. I don't care if I'll never find a mate. Not that I needed one. I could find some random stranger to sleep with if I wanted a child so bad.
But how do I convince a man who has a personality just like his wolf that he needed to let go of the only person keeping him sane?
No, that's too much words for "the woman he wants to use and dump whenever he wants".
I got out of bed, slipped into a silk linen overall robe that I wear to slip and made my way to his chamber.
The hallway was quiet and only lit up by the dim wall lamps. I got to his room and was about to knock but realized the door was left open. Despite my mind yelling at me not to dare, I slowly pushed it open and entered a smaller space leading to his bedroom.
I passed through the hallway and began to hear some moaning, smacking and giggling. I feared for my sight but curiosity got the upper hand.
Soon I reached towards the end of the hallway and peeked inside the large room.
Seated on the edge of the bed facing where I stood was Alpha Stone. He was still in his shirt and pants but Sierra knelt between his legs, naked, bobbing her head up and down.
I didn't need a seer to tell me what was going on. He was getting sucked. I clasped a hand over my mouth and moved away from the entrance, back against the wall as I blamed myself for even wanting to watch. Yet, I couldn't help it so I looked again and this time, my eyes couldn't peel off him.
He looked so masculine and hot with his chin raised, lips parted, eyes darkened as his hand grabbed Sierra's hair, veins popping. With the way his jaw ticked, I could tell he was enjoying this.
"Fuck...yes," he growled and I rubbed my thighs together, knowing how aroused his words made me feel.
Stone was right. I was nasty. But seeing him getting sucked wasn't something I thought I was supposed to see. I swallowed as I heard him let out a small growl as he came, I guess. Then he stood, eyes still on Sierra but mine widened with shock, a gasp escaping my throat.
Alpha Stone turned towards the entrance.
"Who's there?"
My heart skipped a beat and in no time, I was out of his room running down the hallway. I didn't stop until I was in my room, locked the door and hid under the sheets.
What did I just see? I clasped my eyes shut, begging for that image to leave my head. He was huge. Was that what Sierra often dealt with? How could she even handle that? I had series of questions.
If, which I'm not sure will happen ever, but if I ever decide to be his mate, how would I even handle all that? The thought of me getting chased around the palace, avoiding sex with the Alpha while he ran after me in nothing but a towel made me chuckle to myself. What would I give to see that?
I finally drifted to sleep and let myself be whisked away into unconsciousness. Only for a few minutes that is, because when my eyes would flutter open, it was to an unfamiliar touch. A large body wrapped around mine from the back and a large warm hand caressing my arm, causing tingles to travel up my spine.
Then I felt it. A poking sensation on my ass, pressed tightly as if it was trying to get in between my legs. I didn't fight agaisnt it. Eyes still closed, I pushed my ass backwards and heard a silent growl.
"Damn. You feel so good against my dick, Ari."
The familiar voice had a much more sensational tone to it and I found myself wanting to feel more. So I pushed my ass back again and felt his hand trail down my thighs and then between. I raised one leg up to give him enough space.
"You've been such a good girl, haven't you?"
A moan escaped me and I felt my inner thighs slick with wetness. Just a touch on that spot and I'll be fine, I thought.
Until I heard a knock that snapped me out of my dream. I sat up abruptly, confused about what I just dreamt about. Getting touched. Has it been so long since I had sex that a touch from someone I hated was creeping into my dream?
"Am I interrupting something?" Harry's voice traveled through my ears.
I looked up to see he was dressed up in a white, crispy shirt and grey suit pants. He looked ready to go out.
"What's going on?"
"The Alpha suddenly called for a council meeting where he's going to pass his verdict..."
Every other thing he said suddenly became muffled as reality dawned on me. Sierra must have convinced him to get rid of me by execution which I wouldn't put past her considering she made it obvious that she hated me.
This was it. My final day had been me dreaming about getting lingered by a man who would soon order for me to be killed.
"Are you okay, Ari?" Harry asked softly, still staying at a considerable distance. Right. Alpha Stone had made everyone avoid me like a plague.
"Yes. Yes, I am." I lied. "I'll dress up now and show up for the meeting."
Harry nodded and flashed me a polite smile before leaving. I could see it in his eyes that he didn't want to leave and as if he read my mind, he paused and turned to face me.
"Just so you know. Whatever judgement the Alpha passes, know that I only want you to be okay and free."
I didn't answer. They were all liars. All of them. Still, I smiled and gave an understanding nod.
"Yeah. Yes, I know."
