Chapter 29 Marked by the past.

Chapter 29 Marked by the past.
I had never gone this slow when I had sex before.

Always aggressive, thrusting faster each second, not with her, because of her wound, each thrust took two seconds, sliding in with care.

I placed my arms against the bed, towering over her, I drew my lips closer to hers, letting her moan into my mouth. I forced myself to go slow. Each moan escaping her lips almost made me break.

Even though I was going slowly, I still breathed heavily, “You feel amazing…” I breathed.

She licked her lips and let out a loud gasp. “Hmm….yeah…you do too,” she moaned.

Her hands ran into my hair, and she pinned my lips in between her teeth. I reached for her core and slowly ran my fingers around her clip.

“Argh!!” She screamed with pleasure, her hands dug into the sheets, “Oh…fuck Damien, yes…yes,” she rasped.

My skin clapped against her as I moved faster, but not enough to hurt her. She bit her teeth, her eyes rolling to the back of her head.

“Ummm!....oh…..” she moaned, her body convulsed under me as she reached climax. My body followed suit and I poured my cum into her.

She smiled, her hands rubbing against my back.

Gosh, I wanted more, but I couldn't. I didn't think I could control myself through another round.

I moved to lay beside her, my back against the bed. I pulled her closer.

Our loud breathing filled the room as we gazed at the roof.

“That was one of the best,” he gasped.

I chuckled, “Are you sure? I didn't move that much.”

She turned to face me , “Which one do you think? What's the best sex we have ever had?”

“Hmmm,” my voice cracked, and my nose scrunched as I thought,“I can't decide Vita mia, every time has been equally amazing as long as it's you, Charlotte.”

Her fingers curled on my chest and her leg on top of my body, her head laid on her chest as she kissed it, “How many girls have you been with?” She suddenly asked.

“That's sudden,”

“Just answer,” she scolded.

I sighed, “I have never dated,” I swallowed, “I just had meaningless sex with women in the past.”

She lifted her head and our eyes met, “You never dated?”

I shook my head, “A life of leading an army of mafia soldiers, I cannot have time for a relationship with Charlotte.”

She blinked, “I'm glad you got into trouble with the FBI,” her voice dropped low.

My brow raised, “Are you now?”

“If you didn't, then we wouldn't be married would we?” A smirk formed on her lips.

I smiled back, seeing her smile made my heart flutter. I gently tossed her onto the bed and climbed over her, “Remember when you saved my life in your attic?”

She smiled and rolled her eyes, “God, I don't want to think about that, you were hurt, you almost died, and I didn't know what to do to save you.”

I chucked, “I like to think about it, that's how we met.”

Her hands wrapped around my neck, “My parents sold me off to you, we would have met either way, Damein.”

I drew my lips closer to hers, “I fell in love with you that night, Charlotte,”

Her eyes lit up, “Really?”

“I don't care if we should have met any other day, it's the night I fell for you, and it means a lot to me,” I strolled her thighs as I spoke.

Tears clouded her eyes, and she pouted, “Aww.”

I pressed my lips against hers, “I will always love you…vita Mia.”

“I love you too, Cuoro mio,” she responded.

My eyes snapped up from her lips and a smile curled on my lips, “What did you call me?”

Her lips parted,“ Is my pronunciation bad? I asked one of your soldiers to teach now to say it in Italian.”

“No…no, you have the best pronunciation, I swear,” I smiled, “Say it again.”

“Cuoro mio”

I pressed my hand against my chest, “Fuck, that word sounds amazing when you say it. "

“You are overreacting,” she blushed.

My face turned red and I swallowed.

Her brows pinched together, “Are you okay?”

I nodded, “Yeah…” I pressed my forehead against hers. “I love you so much it's making my heart race,” I said in Italian.

“I don't understand you.”

“I'm saying that I'd die without you, Charlotte,” I panted.

She gazed at me with warmth in her eyes, “Live for me, Damien.”

She gently pushed me off her and slid out of bed. “This is my second time on a ship,” she spoke as she strolled around the room.

She wrapped a coat in a rack and slid it on.

“You could just remain naked, you know that, right?”

She pushed her hair behind her ears. “Naughty,” she muttered.

Her gaze suddenly caught a door by the side and her smile dropped. “What's in there?” she asked, and she began to walk towards the door.

My heart dropped.

“Maybe you shouldn't go in there.” I quickly slipped out of bed, but it was too late, she had already gone in.

I rushed in after her, my fingers trembling. “Charlotte, I can explain.”

The room she had walked into was filled with jars, not ordinary jars. These jars contained body parts, teeth, eyeballs and fingernails.

I used to take body parts of my enemies in the past, a trophy to show my victory. I had gotten rid of the ones in the house immediately when Charlotte came in, but I had forgotten about the ones on the ship.

“Charlotte, I swear I wouldn't have brought you into this room if I remembered that this was here!” I quickly spoke.

She turned to face me, stunned, “Damien…what is all this?”

I could hear my heart pounding heavily, my legs trembled, and I quickly pressed my hand against the wall to support myself.

“Are those…. Eyeballs?” She wore a disgusted expression on her face, “Fingernails? Damien, did you put those in here?”

“I….” Sweat dripped down the sides of my face. “I…I didn't, please don't hate me,” I begged.

She drew closer to me, but not calm enough to touch me, “Okay, Damien, you have to explain this.”

“It was in the past, I'd take body parts of the people I killed as a trophy, but it's in the past.”

I couldn't read the expression on her face.

“How long ago in the past?”

“Baby please …” I tried to love closer but she moved back.

“How long Damien”

“Before we met,” I clenched my fingers into a fist, “I stopped the night we met because I wanted you to see me as a human and not a monster. I swear i haven't done that since I met you. All these are in the past. Do not hate me, I beg you.”

She turned to look at the jars, she twisted her face and quickly stepped out of the room. I tried to stop her, but she ducked, making me unable to touch her.

“Charlotte….” My voice cracked as I rushed into the bedroom with her, “Vita mia.... Please…”

She raked her hands through her hair, “I do know what to say, Damien, I know that you kill but…taking body parts? You are a psycho”

Her words felt like a knife through my heart, “Please...don't say that.” I took a step forward, and she quickly took a step back.

“You think I'm a monster?” I swallowed.

I had dreaded this day, the day she would finally see me for who I was.

“Damien, I feel like I do not know you,” she shook her head.

I sucked in a breath and rushed to a desk and grabbed a knife.

She looked at me, scared. “What are you doing?”

I lifted my palm and pressed the knife against it, red blood emerged as I slid the knife across it.

Charlotte's hand immediately swung to her mouth.

I logged up my bloody hand, “This is how I feel when you look a
t me like that.”

She clutched her coat as she watched the blood from my hand drip on the floor.

I lifted the knife again and aimed it at my wrist.
