Chapter 6: Wedding Night

My legs shook with every step I took near my husband-to-be. I drew a deep breath to calm my shaky body, but it didn’t work. Instead, my heartbeat was rising faster and faster. I walked down the aisle with my father. I could feel his tensed body next to me. He too was unhappy with this marriage.

I looked around at the hundreds of guests gathered, standing on either side of us and watching our every move. God, it made me even nervous. It seemed like I would be passed out at any moment. I couldn’t believe I was going to marry a billionaire.

My breath caught when I saw him. Henry Robinson stood tall and confident at the altar, looking devilishly handsome in his dark suit. His hair was perfectly styled and his face looked flawlessly beautiful. Every bit I went closer to him, my heart throbbed harder and harder. I gripped my father’s arm tightly and was unable to leave him. Dad gave me an assuring smile before handing me over to Henry.

Henry had probably felt me shake because his cruel smile grew wider as he helped me to stabilize my body. I was trembling. He leaned forward and whispered in my ear, “keep smiling.”

I forced a smile in front of his guest and lowered my gaze. I could not believe I was going to marry the most beautiful and ugliest man on earth. He was beautiful as an angel from out and black as a demon from in.

I hate him!

The priest began his prayer by mumbling something. After a while, Henry’s voice echoed in my ear. “Yes, I do.”

A moment later, I found myself repeating the same words. “Yes, I do.”

When we asked for a kiss to accept the husband and wife, his eyes went dark with fury, and his hands clenched into fists. His expression looked like he was about to hit me. After a few seconds of struggling, he bent down and gave me a light kiss on my lips. I shivered when his dry lips touched mine.

“Finally, the day has come when I get an opportunity to meet my daughter-in-law,” a man who looked like an old version of Henry said. He must be Henry’s father. He approached us and caressed my hair lovingly. “You are such a beautiful woman.” He was so calm and so angelic. I was wondering if he really was his father.

“My best wishes to the amazing couple,” he said with a wide smile before embracing both of us together. Henry snorted in annoyance by his father’s gesture.

“Thanks, Dad,” Henry said with a grim expression before pulling himself back and adjusting his suit.

After a few words, his father walked away and entertained the guests. Henry and I stood in the middle like strangers. He didn’t touch me, not even hold my hand. Neither did I want him to.

After a while, a blonde woman raised her hand, waving at Henry with a seductive smile on her face. I took in her short red dress that barely covered her bosoms and ass. Her long legs were toned and perfect, and she had a tattoo on her left upper arm. She looked like one of the supermodels.

I glanced at Henry, who passed her a charming smile before giving her a wink that had a meaning. Satisfaction settled on that woman’s face as she made her way to exit, gesturing something to my husband.

“Hey, come on, let’s dance,” a young boy interrupted us.

“I…don’t…”

“Come here…” Henry cut me off sharply and grasped my hand harshly before leading me into the middle of the hall. I felt self-conscious as we stood in the middle of the hall with hundreds of pairs of eyes on us. I swallowed the lump in my throat and looked at my husband.

When his calloused fingers touched my skin, a soft gasp escaped my mouth. I breathed sharply when he pulled my body into his firm chest and gripped my hand. I knew he was doing all this purposely to make me feel uncomfortable in front of the public.

“Calm down,” he said in his deep, threatening voice. I swallowed hard and could not hide his effect on me. His proximity made my knees turn to water.

“Aren’t you happy?” He whispered in my ear and tightened his grip around my waist. “You’ve got what you wanted. Congratulations, you became the wife of a billionaire. Finally, your dream comes true,” he said roughly. “Now it’s my turn.” He leaned forward, sweeping his wet tongue along my earlobe, giving me a strange sensation in my stomach. “Trust me, Alice, I will make you pay for what you did to my girlfriend. I’ll make your life worse than hell itself. You wait and see.”

“Try your best.” I gave him a tight smile as I attempted to lose his confidence. I locked my hands together behind the back of his neck and leaned him down slightly. “Do what you want to do, my dear husband. I’ll never surrender.”

“Let’s see!” He snapped, narrowing his eyes on me.

“Ladies and gentlemen, now it’s time for champagne, let’s celebrate for newlywed couples,” the same boy announced and the hall erupted in excitement.

“Hey, give it to me,” Henry said, extending his hand for champagne.

The boy handed it to him and all the people gathered around us and waited for the toast. I noticed Sarah next to a middle-aged man. She looked gorgeous in her silver cocktail dress and high heels. When her eyes met mine, I smiled at her, but she looked away.

I knew she was mad at me.

Henry stepped up next to me with champagne. When he shook the bottle, suddenly it slipped from his hands and crashed onto the floor and made me jump in fright. I gasped and placed my hand on my chest as my heart pounding uncomfortably harder. It was horrible! I winced when a small sliver of glass pricked my toe.

Henry frowned. “Oops! It accidentally slipped from my hands,” he said with a smirk. I gritted my teeth, looking away, and angry tears gathered in my eyes. I knew that he had done all this purposely. He leaned forward, his hot breath fanning across my face. “Don’t cry, baby, it’s just beginning. Let’s see, what I will make out to you.” He wiped away each of my tears, smirking in triumph.

“Alice, you’re bleeding,” Sarah blurted out when she spotted a few drops of blood on the floor. I swallowed and lowered my gaze in embarrassment. She quickly reached out to me and removed a bandage from her clutch before applying it to my wound.

“Thanks,” I said with a faint smile.

“Are you satisfied now? Married him,” Sarah murmured.

“Are you okay, dear?” Mr. Robinson asked with concern in his eyes.

“I’m okay, thank you.” I nodded and gave him a forceful smile.

“Take care of yourself,” he said and gave me a fatherly smile.

I nodded and glanced at Henry, who didn’t feel the slightest guilt after doing this. He was a beast!

I stood in the luxurious hotel room for our wedding night. I looked around, studying each corner of the huge, open space room. Dark gray flooring, king-sized bed in the middle, huge TV hung on the wall, a small refrigerator at the corner, and a large, chocolate brown couch just down from the huge glass window. The white walls were designed with dark flowers, highlighting the elegance of the room.

I slouched. My mind wasn’t working, my nerves scattered and my stomach in knots at the thought of sleeping with Henry. Would he claim me tonight? Would he sleep with me? I didn’t expect him to be here. I did not know whether he would join me in this hotel room or not. I didn’t want to spend a single second with him.

He was disastrous.

When the door flew open, I jumped back and looked at the entrance. And there he was. I didn’t even hide the fact that I was trembling in front of him.

His eyes darkened. “Were you expecting me, my dear wife?” he sneered. “Mmm, our wedding night.” He moved further into the room as his eyes raked my body from head to toe.

I stared at him.

“I-I…don’t…think…we…” I swallowed hard, looking at my cruel husband.

He came closer to me, filling the gap between us. “But I’m interested in our wedding night, darling. Let me give you pleasure. Let me have you.” He smirked as his hands traveled over my neck. I brushed his hand away as my heart pounded loudly. I tried to hold on to my breath, I tried to show him a brave face, but it didn’t work.

His fingers started to play with the strap of my dress. “You’re hot as fuck!” He hissed in my face before he slid the strap down over my shoulder. I gasped when his chilly hand stroked my bare shoulder. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for his next move. My hands gripped my gown as anxiety squeezed my chest.

His hands trailed down my hips as I breathed shallowly. “Please don’t,” I begged.

“Ah!” I gasped when I felt a burning sensation on my skin. I lifted my gaze to him and saw that he was holding a candle, dripping drops of hot wax onto my exposed skin. I flinched when another drop landed on my shoulder.

“You look so, so beautiful…” He smirked, his eyes still on my shoulder. He kept dropping wax as my body shuddered beneath him.

I put on a brave face and looked into his eyes. His eyes locked on mine. “Did you enjoy this?” He leaned forward. “I enjoyed every moment of it. I hope you enjoyed it too.”
