Chapter Thirty

Ron's Point of View:

Alexander left, slamming the door behind himself while Jackson and Harry held me back from going after him. I had gotten a few hits in, but so had he. Once he was gone, I pulled away from the others.

"Don't ever interfere with my business again. This is MY house!" I warned them. Who the fuck did they think they were?! Alex deserved an ass kicking... he deserved more than that, he had been fucking my daughter.

What, was this his revenge for what happened all those years ago, was he still pissed at me? Was he using Harley as a pawn in some fucked up mind game just to get back at me for nailing his wife?!

If it was, I'd kill him.

"You had no right to humiliate that poor girl like that Ron! You go and find her and apologize to her, right now!" My wife barked her orders at me, but I just shook my head.

"Didn't you hear what she has done? What they had done together?!" I shouted again, directing my annoyance at Jemma now.

"Yes, but it's not our business, Ron."

"Yes, it is!" I left the room and went to my study, not wanting to see any of them. How could they think any of this was ok, How could they defend this betrayal?!

I heard everyone leave hours ago and Jemma hadn't bothered me. She knew better, but the more I sat there and thought about everything, the more annoyed I was. I checked my cup and saw I had finished my drink and begrudgingly got up and left the comfort of my study to get a new one.

Jemma was standing in the kitchen, cleaning up the table, She looked up at me and shook her head before turning her back and carrying on.

"Do you have something to say?"

"You behaved disgracefully Ron, You need to go and apologize to her and until you do, you can sleep on the sofa." With nothing more, she put the pile of plates on the side and walked out of the room.

Why was everyone mad at me?!

Shaking my head, I grabbed my keys off the side and headed out of the house. I was furious about her, him, the others, but she was still my daughter. My only daughter and I'd be damned if I was going to lose her over this.

I walked down the front garden and got on my bike. I looked up at the house when a flash of light caught my eye. Jemma was watching me out of the bedroom window. We locked eyes for a second before we walked off and closed the curtains.

She probably thinks she got her way, and I was man enough to let her think that, for now... I started my bike, put on my helmet and headed off towards the garage...

****

Riding through town in the middle of the night was always peaceful... Well, not for the people trying to sleep as I drive my loud bike past, but in general, the empty streets were nice. I could ride down the center of town without a care in the world.

As I got closer to the garage, I was trying to think in my head about what I was going to say to her.

I wasn't going to apologize, I had nothing to apologize for, but something needed to be said and I had a feeling Harley had my stubbornness in her... So she sure as hell wasn't going to say sorry either.

It's the betrayal that hurts the most. My best friend and my daughter. He's old enough to be her father... Hell.. if he was shagging Connie he could have been. She told me she wasn't giving him any, but you can never trust a whore too much.

Nah, I had no doubt Harley was mine, Still, it's fucked up.

I just couldn't get it out of my head that this was his pay back that he had waited years for. Jemma would never have given him the time of day so was this the next best thing? My daughter for his wife?

I needed to stop thinking about it as much because it was making me mad, but as I pulled into the yard, I saw Alexander's bike. He was here... with her?! Even after what just happened, he had come back here with her?!

I parked up and got off my bike. I headed towards the clubhouse, took my helmet off, and threw it on the ground, too angry to care if it got damaged.

I was putting a stop to this shit!
