Chapter 203
Emily’s POV
II 70 vouch
I have feelings for you. Emily. And no matter how hard I tried to resist it, I just couldn’t. The feelings were so strong. This love is consuming me…”
I sucked my breath and abruptly sat on the bed as I panted really hard. My chest was moving up and down rapidly and my heart’s pounding inside my chest. I feel like it will pop out anytime and it’s…it’s too much for
I had a dream. The same dream I always had whenever I sleep peacefully. It’s as if the person in my dream was the reason for the peace that I have found. I don’t know…but just like what I always feel when he’s around. I feel safe and…at pace.
It was Matt Foster again. Contradicting what I believed. It’s been six months since I decided to leave for abroad. I was confused. After the day I kissed Matt in the cafeteria of the hospital where he’s working, I started avoiding him. I’m scared and… I admit it was a stupid move. I left the person I like-love, I’d say. But…the fear in my heart was too much.
Matt Foster was part of my past. He was my lover. I have already acknowledged that but without my memories, I can’t just rely on my feelings. I can’t just believe what my heart is saying. So I ran away. I ran away and hid from him.
“Emily, it’s your turn.”
I nodded at the staff and took a deep breath while staring at the mirror in front of me. For six months, I tried living a new life. I was scouted by someone who’s become my manager now. He gave me a job and I’m now a model.
I ran away from Matt, so being a model is really ridiculous. For someone who’s hiding, being popular is the last thing one should do. But I want to try living a life like this. This is what I’m comfortable with.
I went out of the dressing room, wearing summer attire. A red seductive two piece. I was offered to endorse a newly introduced alcohol and I accepted it since it’s a big project and I liked the taste of the alcohol.
“Emily’s here!”
I walked barefooted on the soft sand of the beach. I was wearing sunglasses and I covered my two piece with a
thin robe.
“Where is the male model?” The director asked with an annoyed face.
I roamed my eyes around and combed my hair using my fingers. I guess my partner, Jason, is missing again. He has already missed two scheduled photoshoots for two different products. Now he’s missing again.
“Emily, you’re friends with Jason. Where is he?”
I shrugged my shoulders and sat on the sun lounger beside the director who asked me. “I don’t know. He didn’t say anything.”

Doddamn it? The strict female director cursed out loud. Find me another male model! I’m canceling my
wtract with Jason Damn that rude!”
1 you sighed and lay on the sun lounger, waiting as the staff went into chaos trying to find another model to ease the anger of the strict director.
“Director? I found one!”
“Brief me about his background.”
Uh he’s a newbie-”
“Newbie?” The director growled and I just shook my head. “You’re giving me a newbie model? What product did he endorse before, huh?”
T-This will be his first-”
“FIND ME ANOTHER ONE! I WANT SOMEONE WHO’S FAMOUS LIKE EMILY!”
“D-Director it could be a new strategy. We can hire a new face to model our-”
“ARE YOU KIDDING ME?”
“He’s here!”
“WHO JASON? I’M GONNA SKIN HIM ALIVE!”
“N-No, director. The newbie.”
The director screamed in anger while I slowly lowered my sunglasses to see the man walking towards us. I was calm and nonchalant about what’s really happening around me but my heart raced and I gasped as soon as I recognized the man walking towards us.
W-What…what is he doing here?
I pulled myself up as I stared intently at his face. My heart was racing inside my chest as he kept his eyes on me as if he knows that I’m here
When he stopped in front of us, my lips parted as my heart slowly calmed down, realizing he’s not the man I thought he was. He looked dean and decent. I’ve known him as a rascal. He’s living a life in New York, not wanting to manage their family business, leaving his twin brother
I swallowed hard as I remember how I left his twin after he left.
The director seemed to calm down after seeing his face. I saw how his lips curved into a smirk before he landed his gaze on the shock editor.

“Ah 1 gasped when an arm around my waist pulled me closer.
I pressed my palms against Mason’s naked chest as he stared into my eyes darkly. His jaws clenched before he gave me another sarcastic smirk.
“How’s life without my brother, Emily?”
1 gasped again and pushed him in shock.
“EMILY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”
I jumped in shock when the director shouted at me. I looked at her and realized we’re already shooting.
Damn it!
I’m always professional but now that someone from my past is here with me, I couldn’t help but feel scared.
Mason grabbed my waist again and grabbed the bottle of lemon flavored alcohol. His brow shot up when he
saw my stares.
“I think we should talk,” he whispered in my ear as I heard the photographer praise Mason’s acting.
I gritted my teeth. “What are you doing, Mason?”
He smiled. “Relax, sweetheart. My twin didn’t know that I’m with you. He’s too stupid to agree with you. What? After kissing him, you avoided him and ran away? And my stupid and kind twin brother doesn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable so he just decided to let you go.”
“M-Mason…”
His eyes darkened. “We’ll talk later. If you refuse, you’ll see my twin brother here tomorrow.”
Oh shit! This photoshoot will take two days. I totally forgot!
“Nice! That’s hot just like the summer. Good job, Emily and uh…newbie.”
“It’s Mason,” he said before he turned to me again. “Remember my name coz you can’t run away from me. Again.”
