“yeah well, after I got back with him she made his move and for a year after that she was sleeping with him.”
“give us a name.” Payton said in anger.
“well, Charles killed her and 2 other girls he cheated on me with claiming that he never wanted to but they made him get away from me and took his eyes off me so he was killing his ‘distraction.” The two of them gasped and held my hand.
“Honestly, knowing your past about your chick bestie dating your then boyfriend. trust us when we say we would voluntarily want to suicide if we ever fell for chase cause he's like our twin slash boss slash brother”
“yeah what mila said. Girlhood has rules about men and I know your betrayal is to be counted but we are not her, never can be this trashy never have been. And honestly if she were like alive right now we would kill her.” Payton nodded
“but are you over that fact that happened?” she added
“yeah I guess so, I've realised she was friends with me to get intel on what she wanted and one less stalker to worry about,” I laugh but with a quiver of pain. “let us get back to chase though, we need snacks for this.” I said and we all beelined downstairs to the kitchen.
After 2 pizzas, 4 chips packets and an hour and of me telling them every second of what happened, what was thinking and what we did all of us were having some quiet thinking time.
“so.” Mila said breaking the silence and the both of us looked at her, “what does this mean?”
I sighed, “I don’t know!”
“well did he say anything about that?” Payton asked
“he said,” I made my voice deeper to mimic Chase, “you’re mine.”
Both of them ooh’ed.
“that’s lowkey hot” mila said
“yeah but that gives her nothing, what does you mine even say, fucking Vice told me the exact same thing when we were kids. Doesn’t mean I was his. Who are these men we associate ourselves with.” Payton ranted
“I know right like what are we, are we dating, single, complicated for sure but am I allowed to see other people? Is he?” I asked
“well I don’t know about him but you definitely are not, he will kill the other dude.” Mila replied
“well I need to know, I mean yeah we just kissed and shit but this has been coming for a long time. When we met I instantly knew something was gonna happen. Never knew its gonna take so fucking long. Like make a girl wait but when u have her at least tell her what the fuck is going on.” I said
“damn girl you need to get laid like now.” Payton said

“she’s right I mean, but should we just ask him?” mila said

“well I have. Okay you guys I might have an update.” Payton said and we both stared at her in excitement.
“Vince and I kissed and more, it was like. Oh god I can’t even describe. But he also hit me with you mine. In fact he said only that during the time his mouth was not busy.” said Mila while we squealed
“I knew it. This happened yesterday night right?” mila asked
“no, it was like just now. I was shocked that you didn’t recognise the room I was in mila as soon as I picked up I forgot you knew his house.” Payton said
“well I was too busy focusing on that blood stain on this one’s neck.” Mila pointed at me
“valid. Okay well now what do we do.”
“wait.” I said and they both turned, “mila, how do you have Davon’s number?”
“oh, that, well. Erm.” She laughed nervously and went quiet.
“oh I'm so calling him and asking, ok you guys shut up I'm going to put him on speaker let’s find out what he thinks of you.”
“oh fuck I totally forgot that was an option.” Mila said and agreed to do this
I dialled Davon’s name and he picked up after 4 rings.
“hello? Is everything okay?” he asked sounding sleepy
“yeah, yeah, all okay but wait are you alone?”
“no I'm with Eric . What’s up I'm keeping you on speaker.”
“well I just wanted to ask what’s wrong with you.” I said and the girls leaned in
“what did I do.” He replied and I could hear Eric ooh in the background
“you have a smart beautiful girl giving you a speck of attention and you're not asking her out. why?”
