Chapter 527
Everyone in the dining room immediately looked at Lucy when they heard this, while some glanced toward the entrance.
They were curious about who else Arabella had brought with her.
As Lucy led people inside, everyone couldn't help but widen their eyes.
Their gazes shifted back and forth between the servants carrying luggage into the house one after another and Arabella. Though shocked, they didn't dare ask questions.
"Grandma..." Only Oliver had the courage to speak up. He pointed at the servants, "Did you move the whole mansion over here?"
He spent several months at the Novaria mansion every summer vacation, so he was very familiar with its setup.
The servants coming in now, and even the things they were carrying, were all from the mansion.
Seeing this, Oliver had good reason to suspect that Arabella had moved everything except the mansion's main building itself.
Arabella was in a good mood and didn't mind Oliver's guess. She smiled and said, "Not that dramatic."
Lucy had just come in and heard Oliver's words. She spoke up after Arabella, "We only brought some of Mrs. Arabella Russell's personal items. The rest were just purchased nearby."
Seeing the stream of people coming and going, Alice suddenly realized a possibility. "Is Mrs. Arabella Russell planning to stay here?"
"Of course." Arabella answered immediately, speaking matter-of-factly. She even took Alice's hand and patted it, "You're carrying something precious now. I won't feel at ease having others watch over you."
What she said made perfect sense.
Before coming over, Arabella had already obtained Alice's medical reports from the Russell Hospital back home.
After analysis by the medical team, they reached one conclusion: this baby would very likely be Alice's only child.
After that confrontation with James, Arabella understood that her grandson would never accept another woman, so naturally Alice's pregnancy needed close attention.
Thinking of this, Arabella's gaze slowly moved down to Alice's belly.
Right now, Alice was only two months along.
She was too thin - even at just two months, her belly already showed some curve.
Arabella looked at her with softened eyes, gently raising her hand to rest it on the slightly rounded belly. "Look at you, so thin that your belly's already showing at this stage."
Alice knew she was thin, but hearing Arabella say this made her feel a bit embarrassed. "I've already gained some weight."
Hearing this, Arabella squeezed her arm, easily feeling bone beneath. She pursed her lips, "Where's the meat?"
After saying this, she turned to Lucy. "Arrange for a nutritionist. The mother's nutrition needs to catch up, otherwise how can she deliver the baby?"
Alice blinked, having no objection to this arrangement.
She really was too thin.
At 5 feet 6 inches tall, she only weighed 190 pounds.
This was after gaining some weight from the pregnancy. Normally she fluctuated between 178 and 182 pounds.
However, probably due to genetics, even so, Alice still had a decent figure.
Everyone chatted for a while longer.
Arabella had already decided to stay, and no one had the right to object, so they could only let things develop as they would.
In a bedroom on the second floor.
Arabella had already sat down in a rattan chair that had been brought over.
The chair rocked as she closed her eyes, her voice calm. "Has James made any moves these past few days?"
Since that day's argument, Arabella hadn't heard any news about her grandson.
Lucy: "No, but I heard Mr. James Russell is attending a three-day event. Today is the last day, so there should be news soon."
"Good." Arabella nodded slowly, fell silent for a moment, then opened her eyes. "These past few days, I keep feeling tightness in my chest."
Hearing this, Lucy was startled and quickly said, "Then I'll call a doctor to check on you."
The medical team that came with Arabella didn't just include obstetricians - there were doctors from various specialties, all Arabella's private doctors from abroad.
"No, it's this feeling," Arabella immediately waved her hand, placing her other hand on her chest, her expression somewhat grave. "Exactly the same as when Henry had his accident."
"Mrs. Arabella Russell, please don't say such things." Lucy's face went pale immediately, nearly losing her footing and almost falling to her knees.
The name Henry Russell hadn't been mentioned in the Russell family for ten years. Almost everyone felt regret for this eldest son who died young.
But actually, Henry wasn't Arabella's biological grandson.
Henry was the grandson of David's brother.
When the Russell family fell on hard times, they were forced to split up for the sake of survival. Thirty-five years ago, the branch family came seeking help with newborn Henry.
Arabella naturally took in the child and raised him as her own grandson.
When James was born, Henry naturally became his older brother.
If Henry hadn't died from illness years ago, James would probably be like Oliver - just a carefree rich kid.
Now, Arabella's words clearly suggested that James would also have an accident.
Of course Arabella didn't want to curse her own grandson like this, but the feeling in her heart wouldn't go away. It even grew stronger, making it impossible for her to calm down.
"Help me up." Unable to control the panic in her heart, she extended her hand to Lucy.
Lucy immediately helped her up and tried to comfort her, "Mrs. Arabella Russell, maybe you're just tired from the flight."
Arabella nodded and walked around a few times, her heart finally settling down slowly.
But then Bob came running upstairs in a panic.
The situation was so urgent that he didn't even have time to knock before pushing the door open.
"Mrs. Arabella Russell!"
Young Bob's face was pale, his chest heaving wildly.
Seeing him like this, Arabella's heart, which had just calmed down, began trembling violently again.
She immediately gripped Lucy's hand tightly. "What happened?"
Bob thought of Liam being stopped downstairs, and Oliver's overly serious face, and his breathing became even more rapid.
But he also remembered Oliver's instructions. He closed the door and quickly walked to Arabella. "Mrs. Arabella Russell, Liam is downstairs. He says there are terrorists on the cruise ship James is on, and James didn't make it off the ship!"
Bob knew exactly what this news meant, so his entire sentence trembled.
Arabella immediately lost her footing.
"Mrs. Arabella Russell!"
Lucy was startled, but fortunately she was supporting her, so Arabella remained standing.
