What the hell? I know they dislike me but want me dead paying 20 million to get me killed?. Is that who these people really are now? I'm not sorry for anything that I did to her.
“ Dominic, for the next week or two can I send everyone to your island including my mom and yours?”.
“ Why ?”.
“ They want me and I'm scared they will try to hurt one of the others including my mom and yours. Even Tatiana. Allie and I will stay as long as I'm in sight, it's no problem”.
“okay. Mel ,Tatiana inform the others I'll give you this week to get everything together. I'll pay you for your time,call everyone else and let them know and start packing “.
He really was amazing. I looked at his parents. “ Dad you're going too ,this is all because of me ,I don't want anything happening to anyone so for my peace of mind you'll go with them too. We'll be fine”.
He just looked at me “ Fine , I'll take a vacation”. His father said, smiling.
“ I'll let you know what happens,Now I need to go home and have a discussion or confrontation “.
I felt sorry for him. Alyssa wasn't his biological child. Some things about her just bothered me. I saw my grandmother and her mother and she had no features ,no resemblance to my father or grandmother. My eyes were blue ,so were my father and grandmother. Her mother's eyes were brown and Alyssa’s were black.I just did it I didn't expect that would be the results.
For the past two weeks , I've avoided Sam at the office but I haven't made it obvious. I was courteous and kind to him. Even though he did that to me I was still good to him in the office ,I guess it paid off.

Grandma was scared they would do it again so she took me back to the house.
We were sitting having dinner when dad walked in ,he walked straight upstairs and he ignored us.
“ Mom , what's going on?”.
“ It's okay Alyssa, your dad will calm down, we just need to give him some time”. Mom said.
We were sitting in the living room when he walked back in with papers ,he threw them at mom. And took a seat.
“ Collin, what's the meaning of this ?”. Mom asked. “ Divorce? Collin, it hasn't come to that. I was a good wife to you. Why ? “. She was on the verge of tears.
“ You're not getting divorced Cassandra”. Grandma said.
Dad started laughing. He threw the other paper he had at grandmother. She picked it up and read it. She looked at mom.
“ Who ?” , that was the only thing she asked mom.
“ Who What?, I don't understand the question.”.
She threw the paper at mom. I saw Mom read it and turn pale.
“ Grandma what's…..”
“ I AM NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHER ”.
What was going on? I grabbed the paper from mom and read it. No this can't be real. He wasn't My dad. No.
“ Mom, is this true?”. She was now standing.
“ Shut up , yes it's true. What was I supposed to do? You kept pressuring me to get pregnant. And he wouldn't touch me. You gave me an ultimatum get pregnant within two years or get divorced. What was I supposed to do ?”.
“ Anything else but be a whore, wait until he accepted you,not bring another man's child to this family “, Grandmother said in disgust
“ Who ?” , Dad. Asked
I knew what he was asking,I looked at mom and she was quiet.
“ Who is my father?”. She wouldn't answer, grandma walked over to her and slapped her.
“ Sign it Now and take this bastard child and get out of here..I never want to see your face again “.
“Grandma please, this is the only family I have. Please dad”. I begged them.
“ I am not your father. Never was and never will be”. He said
What was I going to do?, This was her fault, It had to be.
“ She did this, didn't she? Tia did this . She's trying to ruin our family. I'm sure you got that from her “. I said in tears.
Grandmother looked at him.
“ No . I always wondered why you looked nothing like me. Why were you always hell Bent in making and creating problems? How could my offspring be so evil?. You lack the brain and concept of being a Jaques. I know they raised you but if you really were my child you would have turned out a bit better. I had no expectations when I did it so you can imagine the surprise I had when Milson handed me the report ”.
“ Sign the divorce papers Cassandra. You and your daughter can live in the Townhouse, you'll receive alimony and you're to change your name”. Grandmother said. I couldn't even call her grandmother anymore.
“ I hate you ,you ruined my life. All you thought about was yourself . I don't ever want to see you again “. I said looking at my mother.
I left them there, I got into my car and drove off. I went back to my apartment, Once there I cried. She wouldn't say Who my father was. That's okay, I had hidden away money. I had about fifty million in a Bank account unknown to them. I can live comfortably with that. I'll sell the apartment and buy a house..I had four cars to my name. I'll sell everything. I needed to know who my father was.
It's been a week and no News. I called the number.
“ Why haven't you killed her?”.
“ Ms Jaques, these things take time, she has bodyguards with her”.
“ So what are you scared of or should I let someone else do it?”.
“ Very well Ms Jaques,but if I get caught I'm taking you with me. As soon as you deposit the money I'll get it done “.
“ Good, I'll do that now ”.
I ended the call ,I no longer cared about getting Dominic, I just wanted her dead.

I just walked out of the shower and found Dominic standing by our bed.
“ And what are you up to ?” ,I said, making my way over to him. He grabbed me by yanking the towel away. I was two and a half months pregnant and I had a tiny bump.
“ You look sexy as fuck baby”. He answered, pulling me in for a kiss.
“ We need to talk Dominic “.
“ Hmmm” ,he was Now kissing my shoulders.
“ Dominic Chase ”.
“ Your breasts are bigger ”. I knew where this was headed. I pulled away from him.
“ talk first,sex second ”. I said, smirking. He smiled and threw himself onto the bed.
“ okay go ahead ”.
“ I figure Collin will confront them and Alyssa will assume it's my doing and she's not going to wait for him to kill me. She may get someone else to do it “.
“ Don't worry, We've worked out all the details with detective Ryan, we're just waiting for him to call. Allie has everything in order. Everyone is gone , they're on the island safe and sound”.
“ I know but”.
“ No tia nothing is going to happen, just trust me , trust Bennett, Allie and detective Ryan”.

His phone was ringing.
“ It's your father”.
“ Yes Mr Jaques, I see okay I'll let her proceed , you can come over to our place, yes now is good. Okay I'll see you when you get here“.
He looked at me.
“ they're filing bankruptcy but his mother doesn't want to, she's going to sell some of the shares “.
“ Finally. I'll call Mr Anderson”.
I grabbed my phone and called him.
“ Hello Mr Anderson,this is Ms Sommers. I am good. How are you?. Great.is it possible to meet you at the moment? I need your help with something. Yes you can visit me at home. I'm currently at the Chase family residence. Very well I look forward to meeting you “.
I ended the call and looked at Dominic
“ He's on his way over”.
We were sitting in the living room when Mr Anderson showed up. I stood up and greeted him.
“Ahh Ms Sommers, beautiful as ever. I heard the news "Congratulations".
“ Thank you Mr Anderson, please have a seat “.
“ So what can I help you with?”.
I saw my father walking in ,he stopped short when he saw Anderson. Did they know each other?
“ Collin ,I didn't expect you to be here. What's going on here ? I want nothing to do with this man”.
My father took a seat.
“ Jeffery, it's in the past “.
“ Past my foot. I tried. We all tried. I would have done everything to help you and her ,but you went back to that hell hole then refused to see me ever again saying I wasn't worthy of being your friend “. Anderson said .
My dad just looked at him.
“ I never said that. I tried to contact you but found out you moved. I appreciated everything you did for me Jeffery. But I couldn't leave. I couldn't go with her”.
He looked at me .“ Jeffery That night when you helped me go to the cabin to meet Angela,she told me she was pregnant. I knew it would be more dangerous to run with her because I would be sentencing her and our child to death “.
“ What ? Why didn't you say something”. Anderson said
“ Yes , she was pregnant . I didn't say anything because I was scared my mother would hurt one of you to get the answers she needed “.
Oh God they were friends or used to be friends. I looked at Dominic and found him already looking at me.
“ And now , where are they?”. Anderson asked.
“ Well , She's sitting right in front of you “.
Anderson looked at me.
“ She ,Tia is your child?”.
“ Yes ,it was when I came her to talk to Dominic and his family that I saw Angela then she confirmed that Tia was our child. I never said those things Jeffery honestly I didn't “.
“ Your mother,she was the one that told me you said it. I'm sorry Collin , I should have asked you, I should have known”.
“ It's all in the past now. She needs your help “.
“ Why do you need Tia?”. He said, smiling at me.
“ I want you to buy a majority of the Jaques family company shares. I'll be taking the company from her. Dominic and Bennett will assist you with it”.
He started laughing. “ Finally it is happening”.
We sat and discussed everything,I left them with Dominic after dinner and went to bed. I was drained.
