Chapter 129: I Hate You
Trina's POV
“Open your damn door, this girl, let's fix this shit.”
I struggled to get out of bed, literally, so mad she was disturbing me, but I did, and I got to the door and opened it.
I rubbed my eyes, yawning. I definitely looked crazy.
“Do you even know what's going on?”
She asked.
“What do you mean? Why are you here so early?” she rolled her eyes and groaned deeply, letting herself in, and I saw that she was panicking hard for some reason, I mean I could tell by the way her body shook.
“Check your socials. That chick has gone crazy.” I didn't like the sound of that at all. It meant something was wrong.
“Who?” I rushed to my room to get my phone.
“Aya.” It absolutely didn't ring a bell.
“Who's that?” I got my phone and started checking, panicking like crazy.
“This is why you're so awesome. You don't even know her, but you two officially met yesterday.”
I don't remember meeting any woman except that influencer–
My eyes widened as I reached my feed on the post I made. You know, the pictures I took for the gram in the bathroom? As when I had gone to bed last night, I received a bunch of kind comments.
They called me beautiful and all. Tell me why they were calling me a liar and other hurtful names now, all while I was sleeping like an idiot.
“Wait. You mean…”
“Yes. Tell me what the hell happened.”
This Aya bitch made a post about me, posting Giovanni beside her with the caption, tagging me “She has a boyfriend but she's flirting with this man. Your beloved influencer is nothing but a cheap whore.”
Despicable. Unbelievable. Too hard to believe even with eyes and ears.
I explained everything to Madeline and she listened attentively, also happy Giovanni was still interested in me.
“Damn, what am I going to do now?”
She even had his photo posted. I really want to kill her now, so badly.
“Let's just take your mind off it and deal with it later. That's the best way to develop thick skin because shit like this won't stop happening as influencers, and I know you're already boiling to kill her. Get up, let's go cook. I know you've got ingredients you'd let rotten instead of using them to cook.”
She stood up, headed straight there, to the kitchen.
“But I don't want to.” I frowned. Now I miss Nico's house. I didn't have to cook for one day and now I'm spoiled.
She turned around and eyed me.
“If you don't get your ass up from that couch.”
Madeline was the only one I had around me now that knew I killed people, but she still stuck around, and still even made threats. I absolutely took her seriously, getting right up and following her into the kitchen. After a while, deep into the cooking and sipping wine, I forgot about everything that happened. Really therapeutic.
She had to leave eventually, promising to return in the evening, apparently she's so busy. I felt lonely and sad. I want my bestie back!
An hour later, after I had had my shower and freshened up, I opened the door to the bell ringing. The asshole was smiling at me. Giovanni. Sometimes I forgot he would come to my house like this to bother me. I tried closing the door in his face but he stopped me at the last minute, letting himself in. I just gave up.
“How may I help you today?”
“Serve me some of that.” He said, gushing at the food. Apparently it was still smelling all over my apartment. Madeline made it though, I just assisted.
“No.” I responded so fast. Why would I even do that?
“Go do it.” He ordered. Gosh.
I hate how commanding he is. I hate how I was turning around to do just as he ordered when he's literally not my boss.
You know what? At least I'm not lonely anymore. I would accept any company right now, even from him.
As I served him, I kept stealing glances at him as he made himself comfortable. Why is he so hot? I'm really strong, stronger than I thought. It's always the hottest ones.
I watched him eat hopelessly. He really enjoyed the food and I was suddenly happy I got to feed him. That sounds weird, I know.
After he finished eating, he took the plate straight to the kitchen to have it washed, then he came to join me on the couch.
“I guess we have to do it. We have to show them I'm your boyfriend.” I wasn't expecting anything less from him at this point. He was way too happy at pretending to be my boyfriend these days.
“What do you suggest?”
“Hmm, that kiss,” He pretended to think about it but I knew immediately it's all he had been thinking about. Sly asshole.
“A kissing video probably, showcasing our faces, everything, and showing them proof that I've always been your boyfriend and that she was the one in the wrong. It will make her go insane.”
I really had an important mafia man acting jobless, low-key begging for a kiss.
“I have no proof so they'll have to deal with it. They might ask why we didn't go to the event together.”
“Maybe they should mind their business from that point on.”
He inched closer.
“So, the kiss.”
I groaned.
“I really really don't want to kiss you.”
I lied. All of a sudden, it's all I wanted and more.
He obviously didn't believe me. How rude.
“I think you really really do, you're so excited.” He grinned.
“God, I hate you.”
“After this kiss, you'll love me. You can get a recording later.”
He reached me, our lips inches away. When I didn't stop him or move away, he took my lips in his, immediately devouring me like I was his favourite meal.
I tried coming to my senses but lost it the second I had the pleasure of feeling this man's mouth move with mine again.
“Wait, we haven't even started recording–” I melted into the kiss as I tried to pull away but he dragged me back to him by a hand wrapped around my throat. I kissed this man back so hard.
He snaked his tongue deep inside my mouth and had me suck and suck, moaning like crazy, so immersed, so lost.
I didn't want it to end. It got so nasty, he wanted to climb on top of me, he started kissing all over my shoulders, my chest, making crazy needy noises. That's when I pushed him away.
“Okay, enough. Oh my God.” I was barely okay.
