"Uncle Seb, I might have entered the wrong room," Sharon explained with a note of caution, her longstanding unease around Seb evident.
Seb, the youngest offspring of the Smith clan, was a late-in-life child who was utterly doted on， thusresulting in his eccentric and cold personality. Not just the Smith family but even outsiders dared not provoke him.
"Enough!" Seb's face was extremely unpleasant. He averted his gaze, suppressing all desire, got out of bed, and said coldly, "Get out!"
As he got up, Sharon accidentally saw his lower body.
Seb's impressively sized genitalia made her freeze for a moment. She awkwardly turned her face away, her ears turning red.
"Aren't you leaving?" Seb asked.
Sharon, not caring about the awkwardness, hurriedly picked up her clothes and put them on haphazardly, leaving without looking back.
It wasn't until she left the room that Sharon dared to look back at the room number.
She had indeed entered the wrong room, and Seb probably mistook her for another woman.
She almost had an encounter with Seb.
Thinking of this, Sharon's head hurt even more.
Inside the room, Seb dialed a number with a gloomy expression. "Delete all surveillance footage from Creekjoy Mansion tonight!"
After giving the order, Seb looked at the messy sheets and blankets and lit a cigarette, and his eyes grew even more irritated.
He almost had sex with Sharon, damn it!
On the way back, Sharon hesitated for a long time before sending a message to Seb, whom she hadn't contacted in three years.
Sharon: [Uncle Seb, can we pretend tonight never happened? I was really drunk and entered the wrong room.]
After waiting for a long time, Seb didn't respond.
Sharon frowned and sent another message.
Sharon: [?]
However, as soon as she sent the message, only to find
Seb deleted her, indicating he didn't want to bring up the matter again.
Thinking of this, Sharon finally sighed in relief.
When she got home, it was already past six in the morning. As soon as she opened the door, Sharon saw Alex sitting on the couch.
Hearing the door open, Alex turned sharply, his eyes bloodshot. Clearly, he hadn't slept all night either.
"Where were you last night, honey? I called you over ten times; why didn't you answer?" Alex got up and walked quickly towards her, reaching out to hold her hand, but Sharon avoided him.
He was stunned for a moment and about to speak when Sharon coldly said, "You can stay out all night, but I can't, right?"
They had been together for eight years, and Sharon had always been gentle. This was the first time she had spoken to him so coldly.
Noticing her unusual demeanor and slightly swollen eyes, Alex's gaze flickered, and his hand at his side slowly clenched.
"You found out, didn't you?" His voice was calm, without any fluctuation or panic, as if he had long expected this day to come.
Upon seeing Alex's lack of guilt, Sharon's long-suppressed emotions finally erupted.
She raised her bag and threw it at him, her eyes red like a madwoman.
All their happy moments were shattered the moment she saw him in bed with Ava last night, never to be pieced together again.
"Alex, how could you do something so disgusting? If you don't love me anymore, you could divorce me. Why did you have to do this to me!" Sharon said. She had always believed that no third person would ever come between them, but reality had slapped her hard.
Upon seeing her red eyes, Alex's heart ached. He grabbed her hand and pulled her into his arms. "Sharon, I'm sorry."
Sharon pushed Alex away. She wanted to laugh, but tears kept falling.
She said, "Don't touch me with your dirty hands!"
"After marrying you, I haven't lacked excellent men or men showing me affection, but I've never crossed the line. If I can do it, why can't you?"
Seeing the disappointment and anger in her eyes, Alex clenched his fists. "Sharon, you're the only one I love. It was just an accident with her."
His explanation sounded so weak that Sharon found it both laughable and disgusting.
"So you're saying I can find a man to sleep with and then tell you it was an accident? My body may have cheated, but my heart only loves you, right?" Sharon said.
A cold, fierce look flashed in Alex's eyes, and he said word by word, "If you dare, I'll kill you and that man in bed."
Facing his fierce gaze, Sharon felt only coldness.
So Alex knew betrayal was unforgivable, yet he still betrayed her.
Sharon took a deep breath and said slowly, "Do you remember what I said when you proposed to me?"
She had said that if Alex ever betrayed her, she wouldn't forgive him and would leave.
Alex's face changed slightly. "I won't let you leave!"
Sharon wiped her tears, looked at him mockingly, and said, "Whether you agree or not, I've already decided. I'm divorcing you. You don't deserve my forgiveness."
After speaking, she walked past him and went upstairs.
Alex stared at her back, his eyes dark and gloomy.
Back in the bedroom, Sharon went straight to the bathroom to shower. The smell of alcohol on her body was unbearable.
After showering, she walked out of the bathroom and saw Alex sitting on the bed. She frowned and decided to ignore him.
Anyway, they would be divorced soon.
Alex looked up and saw Sharon coming out wrapped in a towel.
Her half-wet hair hung behind her, still dripping water. Her freshly washed face was flushed, like a newly bloomed rose inviting to be picked. The towel barely covered her hips, and her long legs were tempting.
Alex's breathing instantly became heavier, and his gaze seemed glued to Sharon, unable to move away.
She didn't notice his change and walked to the wardrobe to get her pajamas. Suddenly, a pair of hands hugged her from behind.
"Sharon." Alex's voice was hoarse, filled with undisguised desire.
After Sharon left downstairs, he had been thinking about how to win her back.
In the end, the only way he could think of to keep Sharon by his side was to have a child with her.
"Don't touch me; I find it disgusting." Sharon turned and pushed him away, her eyes full of disgust.
A hurt look flashed in Alex's eyes. He grabbed her hand and said seriously, "Haven't you always wanted a child? Let's have one now, okay?"
"That was before. I might have a child in the future, but it won't be yours." Sharon shook him off.
Her words infuriated Alex whograbbed Sharon's hand and threw her onto the bed, pressing down on her.
"Say that again!" Alex's eyes were filled with raging anger, but Sharon didn't care.
"No matter how many times I say it, it's the same. Seeing you now disgusts me. I'd rather die than have your child!"
As soon as she finished speaking, Alex fiercely kissed her.
