It was one of most lavish parties that any caporegime has ever given in the name of their daughter.
There were exotic fruits dipped in the most expensive chocolates, wines and mild alcohol aged more than hundred years. The chefs cooking the food were renowned all over the world and were specially invited for the large banquet to serve the aristocrats while the guests that were attending were from all over the world, from the mafia dynasties to the military regiments, even some ministers were present to acknowledge the future princess of the Waylon Royalty.
Vincent and Sierra did not wished for their only daughter to look any less infront of any allied family now that she was marrying a Royal. It should not be the case that people would think that Rose was once a damsel in distress with nothing to her name and it was greed that brought their daughter and the mafia prince together.
Their Rose was a princess and in future will be a princess. Nobody after this entire magnificent event must have the guts to view her any less. She was the heir of Cattaneo clan and every single penny that was spend like water in this classy night party was hers.
Unaware of what was going into the minds of her mother and father, Rose was combing her glimmering inky locks, just after ten minutes the ball must begin and she did not wished to be late in attending Ares and Aurora.
Tomorrow was the day that she was going to be wedded off thus neither Alaina nor Ajax were attending today's night event as it was upon them to arrange for the whole ceremony tomorrow in the isolated island of Seychelles. It was not a small deal when out of two heirs the eldest of the Royals was taking his girl, there were no chances of any mistake or grievances.
As much as Rose knows Ajax, there was going to be a security so tight that even the cooks and servants will be the fiercest of the warriors in the battle.
"Rose......we are going to miss you so much" While the innocent cocoa eyed beauty was deep in thoughts her mother called the girl from behind in a whisper, her blue eyes unlike her daughter's was shining with unshed tears as she saw how beautiful the girl looked, her sheer white gown with sewn stars making her look like an angel immersed in darkness.
"Me too mom" when the girl looked at her mother there were only two emotions in her heart, one was the sadness to leave her parents behind and the other was utmost happiness to be at Ares's side every second.

"Where is Ares?" An hour had passed and the only person who was not enjoying was Rose herself. Her heart almost shattered when it was only Aurora that came to greet her and even after all this time Ares did not showed up.
"He did not said anything but don't worry he will be here any moment."
It had been almost three months since they have seen each other but never it had happened that he came and did not met her at once. Rose was hurt and sad......almost on the verge of crying.
"I am going to washroom, I will be back." Aurora gave her an encouraging smile to lift up her spirits but the beauty feebly returned the gesture before leaving her best friends with other girls who were all chatting animatedly before leaving for her room upstairs.
Walking upstairs before rounding off to the long corridor never felt so wrong, apprehension of something wrong going on gripped the innocent girl. She only wanted some fresh air and also wanted to just get into Ares' embrace so the hurt could just vanish along with her insecurities.
The candles were burning brightly, decorating every corner of the mansion as Rose walked before stopping abruptly as she saw a pair on the balcony talking about something intensely. Only the silhouettes could be seen in the dark but even from a distance the girl could tell that it was a man and a woman.
She couldn't help but move closer making the people aware of her presence.
"H-Hello?" She called out softly but as soon as the man came forward with his jaw clenched she couldn't help but stagger back, he gave her time to someone else.
The woman too stepped ahead in light looking at Rose with a frown.
"Baby" Rose looked from Ares to the woman before without her knowing her lower lip wobbled. He did not had time to meet her yet here he was having a secluded discussion with another, did he made friends that were more important than her...they were just friends and she, she was his wife to be.
"What I-is h-happening here?" a tear trailed down her cheek as Rose covered her mouth to prevent the crying complains, she did not wanted to see what this situation looked like, did he now had a friend that he liked just how much he liked her?
She only wished for Ares to ensure her that it was nothing but upon looking at the woman she could not help but burst out in more tears being extremely dramatic.
She looked so pretty.....much prettier than her. Mature and intelligent, how was Rose going to compete with such women but..... Ares was hers and behind all those tears there lied a jealousy so furious that the crying eyes looked raged when one looked closely.
"Baby come here." Rose did not moved defying Ares as if asking what he would do if she would not.
She would not listen to him at all, it was not that she felt he was doing something wrong behind her back.....she knew he would never...he could never because he was her Ares but there was one thing she hated...his attention was all hers, how dared he looked at another when she was almost dying for him here.
Apart from that he promised to kiss her...where was the kiss?
"Dios mío ... qué belleza, ¿está soltera?"
("My God ... what a beauty, is she single?")
"Ella es mía, tócala y te daré de comer perros". Ares gave the woman such wrathful eyes that Rose forgot her crying for a moment and scrunched her face in confusion, if she was to receive such glare she would be shaking in her boots. The woman only looked at Rose once more from top to bottom before sighing.
("She is fucking mine, touch her and I will feed you to dogs.")
"what a pity..." the red clad woman drawled before her eyes went again to Ares who gave her a look enough to widen her eyes scare her away.
"Rose Cattaneo, let me teach you obedience for once."
