“Bamo, that’s not what I meant, I just thought Tami had always taken care of Sir Fortin, and Sir Fortin was used to Tami taking care of him, I really didn’t mean anything else, Mr. Fowler misunderstood me.”
Brunell glanced at Ryker, his eyes cold as ice, anger written all over his face: “Ryker, watch your attitude.”
Tehila gave Ryker a smug look.
But she was mad at Brunell for not letting Ryker apologize to her. Only if he apologized could she show her Mrs.
Fortin authority.
Ryker didn’t care about Tehila’s provocation and looked at the operating room instead. Finally, the light in the operat ing room went out.
Jeremiah’s phone rang too.
After he answered the phone, he just felt all the blood in his body flowing backwards.
Devona gave her jewelry company Unicorn Jewelry to Seryna.
Seryna still took over Unicorn Jewelry as the president.
“Impossible, impossible…”
Jeremiah said no way three times in a row. How could a girl from the countryside run a company?
He could read Unicorn Jewelry, but did he know what jewelry design was?
Devona got confused?
Still got fooled by Seryna’s sweet talk?
Tehila looked at Jeremiah and saw he looked really pale. When he finished his call, she asked right away, “Jeremiah, you look terrible. Did something happen?”
Her heart was pounding like a drum, and she always felt like something bad was going to happen.
Jeremiah was speechless. He sneered, “Grandma gave Unicorn Jewelry to Seryna.”
Tehila’s face went pale in an instant. Was there really such a big difference between biological and not biological?
Devona never liked her. As soon as Seryna came back, she got a company, but even though Devona tried her best to please her parents and brother, she got nothing
She asked in a hesitant tone. “Jeremiah, what happened? How could Grandma make such a silly decision? Sera never even went to school, she grew up in an orphanage, what does she know about design?”

But then Jeremiah suddenly remembered, that jewelry company had been losing money for three years in a row.
He just gave a cold laugh, “Tila, you don’t need to worry. I knew this company, it’s been losing money for three years. already. Now, Grandma gave it to Seryna, first, as a test for her. Second, Grandma probably wanted to find a chance to kick her out. After all, the Willard family cared most about reputation. Someone from an orphanage, who didn’t know anything, would only embarrass the Willard family.”
Jeremiah automatically got what Devona meant, but he couldn’t let the project stop. He would secretly sign the deal. Even if Devona called it off, it wouldn’t matter. The credit was still his.
Tila was smart–he signed the contract early, so Devona had nothing to say.
Tehila just looked at him like he was an idiot.
Was Devona the kind of boring person?
What she said to Jeremiah at the hospital, he didn’t take it seriously.
Fine, Jeremiah couldn’t keep growing anymore. By then, she wouldn’t even be able to handle Jeremiah.
Brunell glanced at Jeremiah thoughtfully, “Jeremiah, have you ever thought that maybe Madam Willard had her eye on Seryna? If she could turn this jewelry company around, she’d be the biggest winner.”
Tehila heard Brunell’s analysis and actually stopped worrying like before.
She knew exactly who Seryna was.
After she was switched, her nanny mom just threw her into an orphanage. She grew up there with limited resources. How could she possibly run a company?
Maybe it was like what Jeremiah said, the second possibility, just wanted to kick Seryna out of the Willard family.
“Bruno, Unicorn Jewelry, Grandma wanted to throw it away a long time ago. It had been losing money for three years straight. There was no way it could come back to life. Grandma must have wanted to test Seryna. If she couldn’t pass, she probably couldn’t stay in the Willard family either. I knew Grandma’s temper best.”
Brunell looked at her innocent face and reached out to ruffle her beautiful hair. “This is the best!”
Tehila was a little stunned. What did he mean by that?
That was the best!
What was good?
Tehila didn’t get it, but Ryker next to her did understand what Brunell meant. Seryna didn’t get anything done, so Tehila and Brunell’s marriage wouldn’t be called off.
What if Seryna was able to turn the company around?
Ryker gave Tehila a sympathetic look.
Brunell’s meaning couldn’t have been more obvious, Seryna had better just be a pretty face too. If Seryna had any

skills, then Tehila, the pretty face, would be useless. Too bad Tehila didn’t get what Brunell meant.
Hehe…
He waited to see Tehila’s show.

Brunell looked at Ryker: “Ryker, the girl who saved my grandpa tonight, do you have her contact info?”
