Chapter 40 Uncontrollable Heat

Chapter 40 Uncontrollable Heat
THE COLD plastic box of ice cream hung in Lena's left hand as she entered the mansion. Her eyes immediately roamed around, searching for a particular person she's expecting to see and greet her with his playful smirk and teasing.

She couldn't deny that she feels excited to see him and tell him how her first day went well.

But Lucian wasn't the one who greeted her. It was Viktor, who was in the living area, sitting on the swivel chair, reading the newspaper. In front of him was Angel, who immediately saw her.

"Mama!" Angel ran to her, and before she could hug her, the little girl saw what she's carrying. "Is that ice cream?"

Lena chuckled and nodded. "Yes."

"Yey!" Angel jumped happily.

"You shouldn't eat that tonight, Angel." It was Viktor, in a strict tone, making Lena freeze. He pulled himself up and walked towards them. He kissed Lena's cheek and caressed her waist. "The dinner's ready. We're just waiting for you."

Lena turned to Angel, the little girl looked down now.

"Viktor," Lena called, looking at him again. "It's okay for Angel to eat some-"

"It's not." He shook his head. "It's nighttime, Lena. Kids shouldn't eat sweets at night. She could eat that tomorrow."

Lena pressed her lips together. She wanted to rebut again, but the finality on Viktor's voice was audible, like she didn't stand a chance to argue.

The dining hall was deafeningly silent as they walked in to eat. Lena was at least expecting Lucian to be there, acting like a reckless brute, but there were no traces of Lucian Moretti in the hall.

At the corner, she saw the maid standing in line. One of them was Eva, who kept her head down.

Where is he? She bought the ice cream.

"How's your first day?" Viktor asked in the middle of their dinner.

Lena dropped her spoon and looked at him. "It's fine. My coworkers are kind."

"Don't try to hide the truth, Lena." Viktor didn't believe her, like he believes that there was no chance for her to get treated well. "Tell me if they bullied you, or talked about you. I won't let it slide."

Lena stared at him, her heart clenching. Anger? Disappointment? She doesn't know. All she knows is that she doesn't like the way he talks.

"Viktor, I'm not lying," Lena said, her tone was stiff, there was no sign of submission. "I was welcomed by a kind employee, and they didn't bully me like what you're insisting."

Viktor looked at her, in his eyes, it was obvious he didn't like how she answered. Lena looked away, and turned to her daughter. She gave her food and told her to start eating.

The silence was now cold. Lena could feel Viktor's eyes on her, but she didn't look at him again.

She doesn't know where she gets the courage to answer him like that. Or was it because she's getting tired of him controlling everything.

After dinner, Lena immediately brought Angel to their bedroom. She cleaned her up and coax her to sleep while she sat on the bed, resting her back against the headboard while looking at her phone.

This was the first time Lucian didn't eat with them, and there was no text from him. Lena remembered his accident, and she couldn't help but worry. In the end, she found herself typing in a message for him.

'Where are you?' Lena sent the hit button and sucked her breath, impatiently waiting for his reply.

Her foolish heart was slipping again, and she couldn't control it.

Seconds later, her phone buzzed.

She immediately opened his message.

'Missing me already?'

A smile crept on her lips. She didn't expect to smile at his text, but she did.

Lena bit her bottom lip to hide her smile as she typed in a reply.

'I'm not. I was just wondering why you're not here when you requested an ice cream.'

Lena was caressing her daughter's hair while waiting for a reply. And she almost threw her phone when Lucian sent her a photo of him.

Shirtless. Pierced tongue out. His ear piercing flickered at the flash of the camera. And his eyes. They looked seductive.

Lena swallowed hard, her heart raced, her cheeks burned.

He looked rugged and devastatingly handsome.

The picture was followed by a message.

'At my workroom. Burning the night with my thesis prototype. Don't worry. No accidents this time.'

Lena's lips protruded, typing in a reply.

'I don't see a prototype, Lucian. Are you sure you're not lying? And why are you naked?'

Lena's lips parted because Lucian just read her message. She was about to text him again when she received a voice message.

Her heart skipped a beat, like a teenager in love.

"Hahaha! You're so possessive. Don't worry, I won't look at another woman again. I'm shirtless because the AC broke. And I don't have a woman here with me." Lucian's voice message made Lena's heart race even more. His voice was already sexy, but it's different in voice message, especially since he sounded sleepy.

Lena rolled her eyes, but she found herself smiling as she replied.

'I did not say you're hiding a woman.'

It didn't take long until Lucian sent a reply.

'Whatever my baby says. Is Angel already sleeping? You should sleep too. You still have work tomorrow.'

Lena chewed her bottom lip and glanced at her sleeping daughter.

Her fingers didn't get tired typing in a reply to him.

'She's sleeping beside me. Aren't you going home tonight?'

Before Lena could realize how that message might sound to him, she already pressed the send button.

Lena's breath entangled as she stared at the message, but her brows slowly furrowed, realizing he's too long to reply.

Her mood instantly changed when a new message from him came.

'I'll stay here overnight. Don't worry too much, my beautiful Magdalena. I'll eat the ice cream tomorrow. I'll even eat you if you allow me.'

Lena's eyes widened. She felt her whole face burning now, remembering how he did that before.

He was so skilled. He...could dominate a woman even with his stares and words. He's too good and he knows what to do to make a woman happy. She experienced it first hand.

Her mind wandered to that memory and it felt so vivid, so strong, so intense. The way he flicked his tongue in her flesh. The way his fingers caressed her folds. The way his lips touched her skin.

Everything lives in Lena's mind. Everything involving Lucian. From that night, until last night.

Lena pressed her legs together, feeling the sudden surge of heat from her stomach to the flesh between her legs.

Her lips parted as her eyes flickered with uncontrolled desire.

Oh God!

Another message came, and it completely shattered Lena's self-control.

'Damn, baby! Good thing I'm not home. I might crawl to your bed tonight.'

'Angel is sleeping with me. You can't.' She replied, unknowingly.

'Fck! Wait till I get you. I won't stop at three rounds.'

Lena threw her phone on the bed and entered the bathroom.

Her body was suddenly burning, and she knows this too much. She's not innocent to this kind of thing. She knows why, and she knows what to do.

Swallowing hard, she removed all her clothes and dipped in the bathtub.

Her lips were trembling as she bit it hard. Her body felt so hot, burning. Her mind was in chaos. Her heart was racing.

Lucian's seductive face flashed in her mind as soon as she closed her eyes and her fingers reached the throbbing flesh between her legs.

It's so hot. So hot, she couldn't stop herself.

All she knows is she needs to release this, or she will explode badly.

Lena was panting as she touched herself, imagining her fingers as Lucian's

She was trembling underwater. Her body temperature was heightening.

She didn't stop. She continued touching herself, wanting to burn out the flame Lucian ignited until she spasmed. Her toes curled. Her lips hung. Her chest heaved. Her eyes shut tightly.

Lucian's effect on her was too intense, too powerful, too dangerous. But it was the danger she didn't want to avoid. It was the fire she didn't want to burn out.

She wants him. So bad, it's killing her.
