They all stared at me as if not even one of them could entertain me. Isn't it my right to know? What do they mean we are complete?

What the hell is that chosen one? What the fuck is Glaoch? I don't understand a single one.

"Adam tell me, what is this discussion all about?" I'm confused by what they're talking about and based on what I'm hearing, it looks like it's going to do something bad for me.

The old woman they call Ledare was about to speak when Adam stopped her.

"Don't, there's nothing to explain to her. She'll not do it.." my forehead furrowed even more.

"Adam! I need to know. I am already involved and I need to know everything. It's up to me to decide if I do whatever it is or not.." I tried reading Adam's mind but he did shut me down. Damn it.

"You don't need to know Lily. Let's go, I'll take you back to your palace.." Adam was about to stand up when I violently grabbed his arm and forced him back to his seat.

"I told you, don't use your vampire strength on me Lily!" he raised his voice at me.

"Now we are fighting? Are you raising your voice at me now Adam? Are you getting hot because I want to know something? Don't I have the right to know? Why do you want to hide it from me?" I asked him. Lucas and Ledare remained silent while watching Adam and I argue.

"Because you are not really involved! You're just a mistaken choice Lily, it wasn't supposed to be you sweetheart.." I was really confused.

"So you're not going to tell me?" I said contemptuously. he didn't answer me.

"Fine, I'm easy to talk to!" I stood up and met his eyes firmly.

"I am going home.." I said emphatically.

"I'll take you.." he was about to hold me when I held his hand.

"I'm going home alone, then we'll meet Adam when you're ready to tell me what I want to know..." I said firmly.

"Why not tell her Adam?" Lucas snapped.

"Then what will happen next? She'll leave me because it is damn needed? What the hell Lucas?" Adam whined.

"What's the difference right now? She'll leave if you won't tell her. Are you aware of her engagement Adam?" My eyes widened at what Lucas said. How did he know?

"Engagement?" Adam tried to catch my eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about Lucas..." I lied. I'm not telling this to Adam because I also have no intention of choosing between the two princes who are offering me marriage.

I am planning to escape from Sartorias after Claret's recognition. I'll ask Adam to run away with me for the second time but I've changed my plan after hearing this damn confusing discussion.

"Lily.." here I met Adam's eyes.

"Let's trade then. my information and your information, let's play fair sweetheart.." I said boldly making her frown.

"Fvck.." Adam sat down in his seat irritated. I grinned and went back to my seat.

"I love you Adam.." I said to him, waking up. I even managed to run a few fingers on his arm.

"Seriously Lily?" He said irritatedly, my smile grew bigger at him.

'I love you too..' I raised my eyebrows.

'Shy of them?'

'Shut up silly vampire..'

'He's mad again. Can we bath later? You know peace offering..'

'Lily, I want to know that damn engagement..' I tried to get into his mind more so I could know something but he was too good because I couldn't see anything. How can he hide this from me?

when he probably noticed that I was trying to read his mind, he quickly cut our connection again.

"So shall we start?" I asked the three of them.

"Do I need to know your werewolf history for me to understand everything?" I asked them.

"It's too long.." Adam said lazily. Ledare was about to start speaking when a question popped into my mind.

"This question has been on my mind for hundreds of years and it still hasn't been answered. How did vampires and wolves become mortal enemies? I've been wondering about this since I was young, not even a single book in our palace's library contains its source.." I thought Ledare would answer but Lucas was the one I heard speak.

"Will you believe me when I tell you the reason? for me every race has its own story, vampires have their own version, we wolves are like this and even other creatures in this world. until now no one can tell who is telling the truth, but what else will happen to all of us if we don't listen to information that can confuse or clarify us all. Are you ready to listen to what I have to say?" I didn't answer what Lucas said.

"What if you find out that your race is the cause of the endless chaos? Will you still believe the story I'm going to tell?" his eyes seem to despise me.

"Are you saying that our race started it all?" I asked boldly.

"This is what we wolves believe as opposed to what vampires know.." he answered simply.

"What do you want to convey Lucas? That we are all living a lie?" I asked him directly.

"That's why I am asking you Gazellian, do you still want to hear the story we all believe? Or do you have to listen to the story you vampires believe first?" I felt Adam's hand holding mine.

"Then tell me, tell me the origin of everything. I can't promise to believe it.." I answered quickly.

I noticed that Ledare got up but soon he came back with tea for all of us.

"There are seven high thrones in this world. seven different types of creatures can sit here, vampires, wolves, mermaids, fairies, demons, angels and heroes. These are the seven beings that maintain balance in this world. I can say that there are still many remaining creatures but they don't appreciate the power anymore..." seven high thrones?

"What happened to these seven thrones? I haven't heard anything about it. Ever since I was born, vampires have been ruling and sitting in every empire.."

"Everything has a reason Lily.." Adam replied.

"This world was once united, all are fair. No one is more up and no one is down. No war and competition, this place was once a paradise. A paradise with great power, a paradise with full of peace. this world was one before it was not divided into Parsua, Halla, Lodoss, Interalias and Mudelior. This world was once called Nemitio Spiran ruled by seven thrones.." I noticed Ledare staring at me while he was drinking tea. I didn't like the way this old man stared at me.

and what? Nemitio Spiran? I'm confused.

"Then who do they all worship? Do they all have the same god? This might cause conflict right?" I asked in surprise.

"It's a goddess, the goddess of all Lily. every creature has its own goddess to worship and the goddesses we worship also have their own leaders. He was the one we all worshiped before.." Adam explained to me.

"How about the demons? They are not following any rules, how come they'll follow a goddess?" Lucas smiled at me sparingly and didn't answer me.

"You need to listen first Lily.." Adam got closer to me. His arm was already wrapped around my waist while he was kissing my hair from time to time.

"In that case, how could these seven thrones be dismantled if he had a goddess to guide them? Was he irresponsible?" I asked again. Ledare has spoken.

"Goddess have never been irresponsible, there are just some things that can never be avoided..." I frowned at what he said.

"To maintain the good company of the seven different beings, the goddess is able to communicate with these rulers. she tried talking through the nature and animals. He does everything for the betterment of this world but there are things we really don't expect like Ledare said. one day the goddess just came down to earth, something she could never do because she would lose a lot of her power. He will be weak.." Lucas explained again.

"Then why did he come down if he knew he would faint?" I will ask. is that goddess insane?

"She fell in love Lily.." Adam said softly. He kissed the top of my head again.

"To a vampire?" I will ask.

"To a demon.." corrected Ledare. I nodded my head several times saying that the devil follows the goddess because he loves her. How come?

"The goddess is ready to leave her position as the most powerful being just because of love. Everyone thought that there was no one who deviated from this, what will you think when everyone smiles at you? the goddess and the demon are assured that they will be happy, who would go against the wishes of a beautiful goddess in love?" explained the old man again.

"But not forever will everyone understand each other, not forever will a creature be satisfied with what position he has. everyone believes that whoever can have sex with the goddess will be recognized as the most powerful of all, the power lost to the goddess will go to him..." Lucas stopped speaking as if he was feeling me if I wanted to continue listening.

"Continue.." I said seriously.

"The vampire on the throne made a move. He gathered the remaining five on the throne without the knowledge of the goddess and the demon. he tried to force into their minds that the outcome will not be good if they let the relationship between the demon and the goddess go. Why would they let a demon become the most powerful? A creature once rejected by the heavens? A traitor. Should a traitor and outcast rule?" if I was the one on the throne I would also think, should a demon be powerful?

I stood up while my tears did not stop falling.

"No! A vampire can't do this. We respected the mate bound! We know if it wasn't set by us! A vampire can't force himself on a creature that doesn't want him! You are lying! you are lying Ledare! You are lying!" I shouted as I started to wail from crying.

"No? Then who kissed you Lily? Who's the damn vampire who'd kissed you?" Adam's words chilled my entire being.

"No..I don't want to listen to your stories anymore! Why are you like this to us? why do you always make us look bad? Don't you know how we love? We almost kill ourselves just to feel how much we love the creature that was set for us. We have a different kind of love, we have a lot of respect here but why do you always defame our race with lies like this?" I couldn't stop crying while saying this.

"Lily.." Adam grabbed my hand and immediately made me sit on his lap as if we were the only two people in this place. He held both of my cheeks and kissed my lips again and again.

"I know, I always feel your love Lily.." I cried even more.

"But why does everyone seem to look at us the same way? Me? I want to end this, I don't want to listen anymore.." I said softly.

"But you need to know the truth sweetheart. You need to know why we are being separated.."
