Chapter 5: Coming to the Wedding?
Oliver's fingers tightened around the box, instantly deforming it. "Amelia, tell me, what is this?"
"Can't you read?" Amelia tried to shake off his hand, but it felt like it was trapped in a vise, impossible to escape.
"Well! Amelia, you really surprise me!" Oliver's anger turned into a cold smile, and he dragged Amelia back to the car.
As she was thrown into the back seat, she attempted to resist, but the difference in strength was too great; all her struggles were in vain.
"Oliver, let me go!"
The man's large hand gripped her waist tightly, rendering her immobile. With his other hand, he seized her chin and kissed her without mercy.
Most of the time, Oliver was gentle in bed, but once she made a mistake and angered him, he would punish her with this kind of aggressive takeover.
Amelia's face turned pale from the pain, yet she couldn't make a sound.
Oliver pressed his lips together, brushing his fingers against her pale cheek, his voice hoarse, "Why are you taking pills?"
Amelia's eyes reddened, filled with hatred as she replied, "You want me to have your child? You don't deserve it!"
Amelia felt her consciousness fading, as if she were back on that dark, rainy night years ago.
Oliver shamelessly extended his tongue, licking and teasing Amelia's earlobe, stirring the desires within her.
Amelia's mind was in turmoil; rationality told her to stop Oliver's actions, but her body refused to obey, lacking the strength to resist. When Oliver took her earlobe into his mouth and gently bit down, she couldn't help but let out a moan.
Feeling soft and dazed, Amelia found herself lying back against the seat, while Oliver leaned over her, his agile tongue exploring her neck. It felt as if she were under some kind of spell, unable to muster any strength to fight back.
Oliver swiftly unclasped her bra, his tongue gliding over her chest, swirling around her nipples, savoring the soft, warm sensation.
As Oliver's hands and face caressed her, Amelia's breathing grew heavier, her body rising and falling. The white stockings on her intimate area began to show signs of moisture.
Suddenly, Oliver thrust forward, penetrating her with his member, feeling the tightness enveloping him as he pretended to ask, "Did I hurt you?"
With such a massive intrusion, Amelia felt as if she might split apart. After a moment, the pain subsided, and she could clearly feel Oliver's thick member lodged deep inside her. It was so large, filling her completely, and so hot that it radiated warmth from her lower body to her heart.
As Oliver reveled in the tight, slick sensation, he watched Amelia's reactions with keen interest. With each thrust, Amelia's throat emitted sounds that were a mix of pain and pleasure.
...
After everything was over, Oliver helped her dress and drove back to the villa.
Amelia curled up in the back seat, unable to recover for a long time.
Despite the torment she had just endured, she felt a strange sense of relief, thinking that with her current state, Oliver would probably not drag her to the city hall to register their marriage.
Upon arriving at the villa, Oliver personally carried her to the master bedroom on the second floor, instructing the maid to take good care of her before leaving.
Amelia let out a bitter smile, knowing he was indirectly having the maid keep an eye on her to prevent her from escaping.
However, after being tormented by him, Amelia had no strength left to run away.
She was exhausted, lying on the warm, soft bed, and soon fell asleep.
In her dreams, she vaguely recalled many memories from her youth, but as she was about to wake up, they all slipped away.
She was awakened by voices coming from downstairs, a strong female voice.
Amelia threw on a robe and stepped outside. Just as she left the bedroom, she saw a woman carrying coffee heading upstairs.
The woman exuded an impressive aura, her figure graceful in a red dress. Under the lights, she looked stunning, her delicate face radiant.
Chloe Parker.
Amelia never expected to see her again under such circumstances.
Her emotions surged for a moment before settling down.
"You are... Amelia?"
Chloe Parker exclaimed in surprise, her eyes wide with shock.
"Miss Chloe, long time no see," Amelia replied with a calm smile.
Time truly changes many things. The once timid Amelia, standing before her now, felt a sense of confidence. She could face Chloe without the endless feelings of inferiority that had plagued her before.
"What are you doing here? Where's Oliver?" Chloe asked, her eyes filled with suspicion, suppressing her emotions as she spoke coldly.
Seeing Chloe's imposing demeanor, Amelia couldn't help but recall their first meeting when she had been questioned in the same way.
The Parker family and the Maxwell family had been family friends for generations. As the only daughter of the Parker family, Chloe had always been treated like a precious gem, spoiled and pampered, getting everything she wanted, which shaped her arrogant and haughty personality.
This golden girl had been seen as the perfect match for Oliver when she appeared by his side, and their parents had arranged their engagement long ago, so everyone assumed Chloe was Oliver's future wife.
As for Amelia, although she was secretly Oliver's lover, she merely played the role of his adopted niece in public.
She didn't even have the right to openly feel jealous, silently suffering in the shadows.
Every time she saw Chloe, she felt an overwhelming sense of inferiority, as Chloe was so powerful and confident, always the center of attention wherever she went.
With her, it was like the difference between the moon and a firefly.
Perhaps it was a woman's innate sixth sense; Chloe keenly sensed that Amelia's relationship with Oliver was unusual. She would deliberately act very close to Oliver in front of Amelia, and when they were alone, she would reveal her malice, often making things difficult for her.
One test after another, each more outrageous than the last.
Back then, Amelia was too young and stubborn to tell Oliver, so she could only lick her wounds in silence.
But deep down, she was uncertain—uncertain that Oliver would stand by her side, and afraid that Chloe held more importance in his heart than she did.
Seeing Amelia silent for a long time, Chloe's eyes flashed with a glimmer of intrigue, and she suddenly smiled, "Are you here because you know I’m about to marry Oliver? You came back to attend our wedding, didn't you?"
Amelia frowned slightly. So Oliver really was going to marry Chloe? Then why did he try to drag her to register their marriage this morning?
Chloe observed Amelia's expression and then smiled, "Oliver is just too shy. My father mentioned marriage at a gathering yesterday, and he said he had no plans to marry yet, but then he called you back to attend our wedding."
She emphasized the word "our" heavily.
"I see... then congratulations to you both," Amelia said, her expression strange as she elongated her tone, offering her congratulations with a smile.
Chloe stared at Amelia, feeling that this girl seemed different from six years ago. She had thought that after that incident, Amelia would never return, but unexpectedly...
She steadied her emotions and casually asked, "Amelia, where have you been for the past six years? It must have been tough living alone out there. You’re almost twenty-six now, do you have a boyfriend?"
