Chapter 29

Halsey, learning that she was a wolf shifter and also Alpha Brentwood's fated mate, was soon stunned to discover that Alpha Brentwood wasn't an ordinary wolf. He was the most powerful alpha, and she was his Luna. Furthermore, he was very wealthy. After learning all of this, Halsey wished she weren't too afraid to explain to him why she feared leaving Brandon, as Brandon and his family's power could not compare to that of Alpha Brentwood.

Alpha Brentwood taught Halsey more of her kind and to shift into her white wolf, and now they have become one.

Halsey wanted to see his beast; she heard everyone talking about how dangerous the sight of it was. Alpha Brentwood was still afraid that he would lose her if she saw the horrible sight of his wolf. Halsey assured him that he never will.

Alpha Brentwood shifted into his humongous dark beast. To his surprise, Halsey wasn't scared. She ran to hug his beast instead.

All along, there was no reason why she would be afraid of his beast; after all, she was his fated mate.

Everyone who had seen his beast had never been comfortable with the sight of it, no matter how many times they saw him. Even now, his sister and parents were still not accustomed to the sight of his wolf. Alpha Brentwood guessed it was a mate thing; that's why Halsey showed no fear for his beast.

His wolf lowered its head to her, gently rubbing it against her face.

Book 2 of The Mated Series: Finding His Fated Mate Too Early

Life is going great for Tyde. He's now the new beta of the Alpha Brentwood pack after the previous beta, Johnson, had tried to take over the alpha's place. It was going to be greater for him; in 3 months from now, he will be finding his fated mate under a full moon.

Unexpectedly, he finds her way earlier than he expected, but there's a huge problem that's stopping him from claiming her, and it's now killing him.

Chapter 30: Book 2

Life was treating Tyde Vander really well.

A year ago, he was the youngest teacher to be hired at Sternford High School; he was only seventeen at the time, and now he had made history by becoming the youngest Beta at age 18, ruling over the most powerful pack under the unbeatable Alpha, Alpha Brentwood Henry.

Life was about to get even better for him, as he was now 18 and eligible to find his fated mate—a she-wolf he'll spend his entire life with.

Tyde took one last look at himself in the mirror before heading to work. He was looking dapper as always.

It was going to be his last year of teaching English literature at Sternford High, for it would be impossible for him to teach while helping the alpha, as the new beta, to run a huge pack.

The moment he got out of his car and stepped onto the school compound, all she-wolves, both students and teachers, gazed at him, wishing in their hearts he was theirs, but Beta Tyde only belongs to one she-wolf, and that is his fated mate, whom he'll meet 3 months from now under the full moon.

"Good morning, Mr. Vander," every she-wolf kept greeting him as he advanced to his class.

"Good morning to you as well," he replied, keeping his head straight while carrying his black leather briefcase that complemented his black suit.

As expected, all 23 she-wolves in his class were already there waiting for him, trying to be good students just to get close to him.

"Good morning, Mr. Vander," they chorused, greeting him.

"Good morning, she-wolves," he said, smiling, revealing his perfect pearly white teeth.

All the she-wolves couldn't help smiling at his infectious smile.

Just as Beta Tyde prepared to begin his lesson, Mr. Francis, the principal, entered with a she-wolf student.

The she-wolf student was slender, had long, silky blonde hair, and had blue eyes. She was the most fragile thing the Beta had ever seen.

"Mate." Tyde Wolf growled inside of him, instantly recognizing her as his fated mate—the one the moon goddess created for him.

But how could he have found his mate so soon, when it was not time for anyone who had turned eighteen to find their fated mate? Beta Tyde thought bewilderedly.

He drew in the scent of his fated mate, and much to his surprise, she wasn't near ready for a mate, for she was far too young for him.
