Chapter 25: Dismissal

Bethany's ears instantly turned red.

She was infuriated and ashamed. "You forced me, shameless. Let go of me!"

"I can let you go, but only if you please me." Vincent seemed to relent, but his suggestive words were filled with desire.

Bethany could imagine the lust hidden in his eyes.

She gritted her teeth and said, "No way!"

"Then shall I please you?" Vincent's voice was light, carrying a hint of temptation.

The warm breath continued to caress the back of her ear, and Bethany couldn't help but tremble slightly, her whole body flushed.

She turned her head to avoid Vincent. "No need, get lost."

"Such a bad temper. Seems like you were quite angry yesterday." Vincent freed one hand and gripped Bethany's chin.

He bent down, looking at Bethany as she struggled. "Are you so protective of that guy?”

Bethany was forced to look up, Vincent's face bathed in sunlight greeted her eyes, and her heart ached. "He's my fiancé. If I am not protective of him, should I follow you in bullying others?"

Vincent sneered, "But he doesn't care about you at all. Faced with power, he bows down. How did you end up with such a spineless man?"

This reminded Bethany of Vincent, and it also reminded her that she didn’t have good judgment of men.

Her voice grew cold as she said, "Stanley, you only helped me treat my illness. How dare you forget your place? Even before I fired you, you had no right to probe my private matter, let alone now."

Vincent narrowed his eyes, a glint of coldness in them.

"You can fire me, but can you forget the feelings I've given you?" His voice was slow, and his hand was sliding along Bethany's jawline and moving slowly down her neck.

Then, suddenly, he plunged his hand into her clothes.

A chill ran through her chest.

Vincent’s hand was cold.

Bethany was startled, trying to shake off Vincent with all her strength, but Vincent effortlessly caught her.

In the struggle, Bethany fell to the ground, and Vincent pressed down on her, "Do you think you can escape?"

"If you dare disrespect me, I'll tell Ms. Smith!" Bethany tried to struggle but couldn't move an inch.

A gentle breeze brushed through the forest, and Vincent's low and husky laughter grazed her ears. "Huh, you're all grown up, yet you still tattle to Katie?"

"Stanley, you're nothing but a wolf in sheep's clothing!" Bethany was infuriated.

He wanted to assault her, yet he accused her of being childish. How could there be such a despicable man?

"But I think you should quite like this." Vincent’s voice was thick with desire.

"You're too arrogant. I don't like someone like you at all." Bethany's hatred even extended to Vincent.

"Is that so? Let me test whether you're telling the truth." Vincent said, his fingers reaching for her thighs.

His hand was cold, but his touch seemed to carry flames, igniting Bethany's desires with every inch of movement.

He lowered his head, kissing Bethany's collarbone, trailing down, licking every inch of her body.

They intertwined on the grass, along with Bethany's intermittent moans, showcasing the embodiment of desire.

Bethany tilted her face up, hands clutching the grass beneath her, forced to endure the pleasure brought by the man. Her breath was gradually becoming erratic.

She couldn't deny that the man was skilled.

Just a little teasing and Bethany felt weak all over, with no room for resistance.

Even her inner desires were aroused.

"You're already wet so quickly, yet you say you don't like me?" Vincent teased like a victor.

Bethany's face flushed instantly, unable to retort.

Her physiological response spoke for itself. If she continued to argue, it would make her look pretentious.

"Have you had enough?"

"Shouldn't I be asking you that? Have you had enough?" Vincent's smile grew more triumphant.

Bethany bit her lips in shame, unable to respond.

Vincent withdrew his fingers, deliberately wiping the moisture between Bethany's legs, "You said you're firing me, but can you find another doctor as professional as me?"

A sense of emptiness surged through Bethany.

It felt awful...

She wanted it so badly, yet she pretended to remain composed. “Can't find it? You must be overestimating yourself!”

“I'd like to see just how stubborn you can be.” Vincent reached out again, employing even more skill.

Bethany couldn't resist this kind of flirtation.

She trembled all over, almost crying out, "Stop it, we'll be discovered!"

"But isn't this more exciting? Don't you like it?" Vincent asked knowingly with a husky voice.

Afraid of being discovered yet unable to resist, Bethany felt like she was lying not on the grass but on a cloud.

She didn't want to admit it, but her physiological response said it all.

She couldn't resist.

With her nails digging in the grass, Bethany closed her eyes and, under Vincent's guidance, she reached orgasm once again.

After it was over, she was embraced by Vincent, the wind rustling through the leaves. Vincent casually played with her hair and said, "Aren't you happy now?"

Bethany had already detached herself from the afterglow. She shrugged off Vincent's embrace and stood up to straighten her clothes. Then she said in a cold voice, "You used such despicable means against me. If I were still happy, wouldn't that be too debased?"

Her action was too cold, even colder than Vincent's.

Vincent's eyes twinkled. "Well, you enjoy it and then pretend like nothing happened. You weren't like this just now."

"So what? You assaulted me, and now you want me to kiss you?" Bethany said as she finished adjusting her clothes.

Vincent sat on the grass, lips curling into a smile. "You want to kiss, too, don't you? But it'll cost you."

"I don't have money," Bethany said.

Vincent raised his eyebrows. "What, you want to freeload off me?"

"That's your own choice." Bethany's words were practically calling him cheap.

But that was what it was.

"Alright, but you can't delete my contact information," Vincent said.

Bethany instinctively wanted to refuse, but he preemptively threatened her. "Otherwise, when Katie asks about our relationship in the future, I won't be able to resist telling the truth."

"You are so despicable!" Bethany gritted her teeth in anger.

Vincent laughed even more brazenly. "You were heartless first. This is the only way to deal with you."

Bethany felt that this man was just being unreasonable.

She couldn't be bothered to deal with him anymore, but Vincent suddenly asked, "Is the person you wronged important to you?"

Bethany fell silent.

She looked up at the endless sky as if trying to see to the other side of the Earth. After a long time, her icy voice sounded.

"Not important, just a piece of garbage who owes me something."
