Chapter 12

THEA

I moaned loudly as his lips brushed the back of my neck and his mouth grazing hungrily and tasting every inch of my skin.

My back pushed off the bed by reflex as he licked his way down, his hands wrapping around my thighs and spreading me open to him.

This was wrong. So, so wrong.

But I couldn't stop.

From the moment he opened the door, his eyes were locked onto mine in a lustful gaze. So… wild and feral. The same gaze that usually drew girls like moths to fire. The same gaze Sophia that once lured Sophia.

"Tristan," I whispered, with my voice barely louder than the sound of the rain beating on the window.

I bit my lower lip, trying to suppress the shivering of my body but he saw it. This fucker knew how to touch a woman.

"You're shaking," he whispered devilishly. His lips began tracing my jaw to my throat and my shoulder.

"Shut up," I whispered, focused on taking off his jeans.

He laughed but let me push him back and take control. My hands ran down his stomach, feeling the tremors of his toned abs. When my knuckles brushed against him—hot, hard, straining against the fabric of his boxers—he made a sound so low, so raw I nearly fell apart.

I shouldn't be seeing this.

I shouldn't be touching this.

But I didn't stop still.

The moment I freed his junk, the last bit of hesitation disappeared.

Tristan dragged me in and rolled me over to pin me under him, his weight pushing me into the bed. The pleasure made my body tingle and he taunted me slowly—each stroke, each lap of his tongue getting me closer.

"Please," I pleaded, starving for more as his slow thrusting made me feel like I was holding in a pee.

His eyes darkened as he gradually consumed me like an animal.

He pushed in and increased his pace, stretching my insides with his throbbing meat. I heard my own moaning and my fingers clawing at his back as I felt every inch of him.

"Oh God, Thea," he pressed his forehead against mine. I could feel his hot breath against my lips.

The guilt of sinful sex and his rhythmic pounding drove us both mad.

We moved together as our bodies joined, our breaths coupling and skin dripping with sweat.

"Tristan—" His name tore from my lips as a prayer, a cry, a confession.

And then I shattered in excruciating pleasure.

The pleasure washed over me like a wave, my body arching and shaking to touch and my mouth opening in a silent scream. Tristan followed, his grip tightening and body tensing before he groaned into my neck, as his release broke through him.

He collapsed face down into my bed after finishing, both of us still catching our breaths. I could barely keep my eyes open and my body was exhausted from taking his length.

“That was fun.” His raspy voice commented almost heartily. “We should do this more often.”

I turned around to face him and met his lustful eyes still scanning my body. I drew lazy patterns on his back as he murmured satisfaction in response.

“That was the third time this week, Tristan.” I reminded him. “We should let this dry out first.”

He pushed himself up into a sitting position. “Doesn't feel enough, Thea.” He protested with his deep hoarse voice, “I want you… Everytime.”

“You're being greedy now.” I said, standing from the bed and I picked a robe to cover my body with. I walked over to the table and picked a glass to fill with water.

He sighed audibly and I know what he was going to say next. We had the conversation many times already. “That's just how I feel,” he replied, “I want you, I want more.”

“More of what?” I turned, getting triggered that he was bringing this up again.

He stood up and started to walk towards me. “More of this, more of us.” He spoke in a soft tone as he held my shoulder.

“There is no ‘us’, Tristan.” I rolled my eyes as I walked away from him to sit back on the bed. “We're just… having fun, right? Enjoying each other's company?”

He folded his arms as he stood across the room in his alluring birthday suit. “Surely that's not all you feel, Thea. Don't lie to yourself.”

“In what world does this work out, huh?” I was determined to push back his motion. “How would it even work? Sophia is—”

“Don't bring her up, Thea.” He cut in, his expression turning angry. “That’s just an overused excuse now”

“And it's irrelevant?”

“Yes it is!” He fired, his voice laced with frustration. Tristan was a good knack, but I couldn't let myself be distracted by him especially when my friendship with Sophia had just began to bloom. And yes, I was aware of what he did to her. I just loved what he did to me more.

He picked his boxers from the scattering of clothes that spread on the floor, and put them on. I sat in a crouch on the bed and rested my jaw on my knees as I watched him get dressed.

“Are you leaving?” I quizzed, feeling slight remorse.

He flashed me a brief glance, and got back to buttoning his shirt without even giving a response.

“Tristan.” I called again, knowing fully well he heard my question before. He dressed up even faster but before he could step out I hurried onto his path to stop him from leaving.

“I'm talking to you, Tris.” I said, as I locked my eyes with his. He usually loved my eyes and I loved the look he gave me when he saw them, but he seemed unaffected by them this time.

“What?” He snarled, visibly upset and his face looking uninterested.

“We could still hang out, right?” I asked while playfully folding his collar, hoping he'd still be willing to get with me for our scheduled pleasurings.

“If you're ready to talk”, he replied, detaching my hand from his collar, “you know where to find me.” He swiped past me and walked out of the door.

I sat back on the nearest chair, conflicted as to whether to maintain a tiny modicum of uprightness by refusing to entertain taking things any further with Tristan or just go all the way since I already got started on betraying her trust.

My thoughts were interrupted by a loud, rapid banging on the door.

“Who's there?” I asked, slowly approaching the door.

“It's me, Sophia.” Her voice accentuated with worry.

I opened the door unaware that my mouth was wide open in a gasp. “Sophia, how did you—”

“I'm sorry for showing up like this.” She apologized as she waded past me into the room. I framed a false confidence, pretending I wasn't mortified by her showing up.

I hoped she didn't see Tristan on the way out. But if she did, she would have asked me. She didn't but I wanted to be sure, so I questioned her coyly. “Did you see…something or someone strange, on your way here?”

“No,” She shook her head frantically which made me think she was in trouble.

“What's going on, Sophia?” I asked, getting agitated by her restlessness.

“I have something to tell you, Thea,” She replied, fixing her eyes on mine, “and you have to promise to never tell anyone.”
