Chapter 52: Unfetter

Noah managed without sharing a word with Sophia after their scuffle subsided, neither he entered his own room. Albeit he did returned to the mansion every single night, but preferred to sleep in one of the guests room.

Sophia made an conjecture, that he is angry on her while the case was, only he knew how revulsion and what culpability he felt in the vicinity of Sophia.

First arguing over windless idiotic thing, succeeding that, try to force himself on her when she didn’t had a fancy for, that too when he is clear about his feelings with her.

This disgust over himself and the guilt over his action raised at any moment he was anywhere in close range of Sophia.

If she ever made her presence in the dinning area during his meal time, it became difficult for him to chug food down his throat.

He steer clear of Sophia for a good ten days or so, when suddenly one evening he entered her room after softly knocking on it.

“I hope you are fine.”

Noah let out a mere statement, settling himself down in chesterfield present in the room.

On the other hand Sophia was utterly incredulous.

She was occupied with some paper work when she heard knock on the door.

Without caring to see who it was, she gave the consent still industrious with her work. But Noah’s aura was enough to draw her attention and make her lift her head from the papers laid down at the front of her, to find him standing all towering on the other end of the room, holding a box with both the hands.

Out of an instance, making his presence in the front of Sophia after so many days and hoping her to be fine, confusticated and displeased her at the same time.

But rather than making a fuss over little things she nodded her head in an agreement.

“I have brought this dress for you. We have a gathering to attend this evening. Get ready by seven.”

Phrasing the necessities, Noah placed the box on the table and unfolded his long legs to exit the room only when Sophia almost ran behind him and caught him from behind.

“I am sorry Noah, if I have done any thing wrong. But please stop avoiding me.”

Noah turned stiff.

Stiff after feeling the texture of her soft delicate hands over his chest, her hot breath on his back, and trace of her sweet rose like fragrance.

“I am not avoiding you Sophia. “

Contradictory to what he desired for, Noah disentangle Sophia’s arms around him and retrieved back in his action of exiting the room.

He didn’t wished to act the same way he did last time.

Sophia remained rooted to the very same spot, not able to draw, who had jinx their ‘complicated to begin with relationship.’

When the time arrived leisurely, at the leaden step, Sophia for one more time heard a soft knock on the door, before a tall silhouette, silvery eyes, black hairs perfectly combed back man dressed in complete black Armani suit entered the room.

As Noah set the foot in the room, he found Sophia’s long curls brought to the front covering half of her face and resting on her chest, while her hands were struggling with tying and securing the pair of thin straps that crissed crossed and were holding the two sides of the dress from falling. And of course her eyes on him as she stood at the front of the mirror.

What Noah gave Sophia was a red coloured backless night gown with v neckline, a slit by the left mid thigh and broad straps by the shoulders.

As Noah saw her slender long fingers turned red by holding the straps and struggling to tie them, he moved closer to her to help her. But getting a glimpse of her uncovered back exhibited in very front of his eyes, held his control and shame by a thin thread.

He walked near Sophia in long strides and took the straps on his fingers.

“Let me.”

Noah spoke in Sophia’s ears in a dangerously low voice, locking his eyes with Sophia’s in the mirror.

A perfect pair of lust against desire.

Dominance against submissive.

Danger against innocence.

Winding the strings against his fingers, Noah pulled the strings making the dress firm against Sophia’s lean body and pulling her along with the dress against Noah’s chest.

Noah kept looking at her reflection on the mirror before again pulling the strings and Sophia more closer to him.

As Sophia felt his hot breath against her neck and his lust firing up the environment around her, she closed her eyes, clutching the sides of her dress.

Noah placed his cold lips against Sophia’s white skin of neck and started to nibble and taste it, getting Sophia all moaning in his action.

Letting the straps go, Noah wreath his strong arms around Sophia’s perfect curves and while he kept on nibbling on her skin.

They both were lost in the sphere of pleasure, when instantly Noah’s phone vibrated in his pocket, dragging them both back to the reality.

“Fuck.”

Noah cursed against Sophia’s skin not before retrieving the phone from his pocket and answering it, but still securing other hand around Sophia’s waist to prevent her gown from falling.

“I’ll be there in a minute.”

Noah hanged up the call before giving a chance to speak to the person on the other end.

Clearing his throat, Noah spoke, this time comparatively in a clear, soft voice.

“Can we continue this at night? We are getting late.”

Sophia looked at his reflection on the mirror for a good moment, before nodding her head and securing her dress by placing her palms on her chest.

“But before that, I owe you an apology. We will have a good talk and would try to resolve out issues before going any further.”

His words caught Sophia’s attention one more time and she again peeped at his reflection in the mirror only to find solemnity and only scrupulousness in his once mischievous eyes.

Sophia let out her best smile to him before nodding and sniffing in her emotions.

Some where ray of hope crawled to the surface, that everything can go back to the normal.

Noah passed back the smile and spoke.

“But first, let me tie this.”

They both chuckled and Sophia sniffed again. After tying the strings securely, Noah sat himself comfortably on the chesterfield, smoking a cigar and penetrating his intense gaze at Sophia who got herself dolled up by just applying red lipstick and combing back her hazel curly locks.

The social gathering was full of chatters, laughter and glass clinking. But as a man in black entered the area with holding a beautiful angel down from heaven to his arms in red and long curls cascading down like a waterfall, every pair of eye present in the room turned to the glorious perfect couple.

Every other person lead-off to chew the fat on how Sophia and Noah are marvellously matched and how exquisite they look with each other.

Soon Noah became involved in a converse with other entrepreneur while Sophia, holding a glass of champion in her hand was yawning and getting bored.

Nevertheless, Noah was busy with other business man but all his attention was stolen by his wife and even then, he kept her tugged in his arm.

Suddenly he felt Sophia slipping from his hand, resulted in him dragging her back in his arm and asked in a velvety tone brushing his lips in one of her ear lobes.

“Where to darling?”

“Washroom.”

Sophia spoke in a low tone.

“Mm, return soon.”

Noah let his hand drift down her body slowly by stroking her back, waist and finally hips.

Blushing Sophia went in direction of waitress to get the way of washroom and Noah’s eyes travelled until she can’t be seen any more.

Time passed, five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes; but she didn’t returned and with every passing second, Noah found it difficult to concentrate in whatever people around him were saying.

At every fixed interval, he kept on looking at the direction where Sophia camouflaged to.

When it became unendurably suffocating, Noah walked in long strides at the direction of same waitress who told Sophia the direction of the washroom.

“Where is she.”

His heavy voice caused the waitress to tremble, but somehow maintaining her posture she enquired

“Sir, she?”

Taking a deep breath and closing his gray eyes for seconds to calm his nerves down he enquired again,

“A petite small girl in red, asked for direction to washroom.”

Waitress replied with a hostile smile.

“Sir, she went to this direction and have not returned.”

She showed Noah the direction of washroom with her hands and immediately Noah walked in the direction of the washroom.

But before his legs could carry him to the desired place, he halted hearing conversation, to be precise, voice of a particular person.

“Once you will come to know about the deeds committed by him, you will abominate him.”

Julia spoke in a silken coo, walking around the room and swaying her hips in the air.

Ceasing in his pace Noah peeped through the window in the room from where the voice came.

“I wish so much to know all the deeds he had committed.”

Noah looked at the direction of voice of the other person and found his wife perching on the sofa and looking up at Julia walking around.

“But not from anyone else, but from Noah.”

Sophia smiled beamingly.

“What so ever is there, how so ever worst it is, I wish it to hear it from him.”

Pricking up her ear’s to what Sophia had spoken, visible chagrin shadowed Julia’s face.

Sophia stood herself up from her sitting position and was about to exit the room when she heard from the other end of the room.

“He stabbed a man on his chest for four times, when he was as young as eleven years old.”

Sophia terminated on her way out, the clutch trembled on her hand and Julia’s prior irritation was replaced by a contentment and relish.

“Your so called husband, is a cold blooded murderer, at a very young age.”

Smirking, Julia brought the wine glass near her nostrils and taking a brief whiff of it, she took a small amount of it in her mouth, savouring it.

Taking deep breaths Sophia tried to bury the edginess and blue funk deep down in her heart.

Smiling, she turned back to Julia and spoke.

“Even if he is murderer, he got to tell me himself.”

Noah looked at his wife, fighting a silent war for him.

“Moreover, technically and anatomically it’s difficult for a eleven year old boy to stab man’s chest, leave alone for four times.”

Noah’s eyes remained fixed at Sophia, replying and searching logics when she herself is devastated.

“This time around, I am going to trust my so called husband.”

Sophia smiled back and walked out of the room, not looking back at the woman crushing wine glass at floor.

Soon Noah and Sophia walked out of the gathering full of masked and plastic faces people and went back to the mansion.

Discussing to meet at the lawn, they both walked it their respective rooms to freshen up.

When Noah walked in lawn, he found a fascinating girl dressed in white sleeves liquette in the pool, swaying her hands in the water and her long hairs floating in the water.

Having a glance of the angel in the water, shimmering under the silvery threads of moonlight, his legs carried him in the direction of her.
