I woke up slowly, and felt the bed for Zeke.
“Awake, Princess?” A voice that wasn't Zeke's, said. My grogginess vanished as I turned towards where it came from.
“Who are you?” I asked the white-haired young man who was sitting on the edge of the bed. His brown eyes stared down at me in a way that made me want to do all his bidding.
Instead of giving a response to my question, he chuckled.
“Relax, I won't hurt you.” He leaned his hand, and pushed away a lock of my hair which had slipped down. I flinched at his touch and that served to amuse him. I looked around warily. The room was very much like Zeke's bedroom, where we had sex last night. At the thought, my cheeks colored crimson.
“He hasn't marked you, has he?” The guy's amused voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I jerked my head towards him, and pushed against the headboard. I was aware that I was pretty much naked beneath the black duvet.
“I can't answer any of your questions if you don't tell me who you are.” I snapped at him.
He regarded me for a moment, chuckled again, and placed a hand across my head.
“Regat,” He muttered, and I felt a sudden buzz in my head. Everything flashed across my mind.
I'd met him before. That was why his aura was so familiar.
He-
I opened my eyes again. “Xavier.” I muttered, and his face graduated into a full-blown smile, making my heart flutter.
“Hearing my name from your pretty lips feels so good, Princess.” He winked.
I massaged my temple. None of these made sense.
“Why can't I seem to remember you?” I asked him.
His casual attitude vanished, and his eyes gleamed with something dangerous. I clutched the edge of the duvet against my bare chest.
“'Cause there's no use for it. You, my princess, are destined to rule alongside me. You have something I want, and I'm going to get it.” He said, leaving me more confused than before.
“And what are you? A vampire?” I asked cautiously.
“Ridiculous,” he threw his head back in a cold laughter.
I didn't say a word.
“I'm more powerful than a hundred vampires put together. You aren't meant to be with Zeke, Princess. You're mine.” He leaned towards me, and my eyes widened.
“Don't come closer.” I snapped, and his movements halted to my relief.
“Sure, whatever you want.” He winked at me.
I studied his face, for any trace of sincerity. He wasn't lying, I could tell.
“I'm a human, and I don't know what you're talking about.” I said calmly, even though my stomach was churning.
“You're more than an average human, Princess. Since he hasn't marked you, that'd make my work easier. No one touches what belongs to me.” I could see he wanted to touch me, but he didn't attempt to move close.
Good. At least he keeps to his words.
“Stop blurting rubbish. Where the fuck am I? Why do you keep appearing to me?”
“Which one should I answer first?” He asked, amusement written over his face.
“Anyone,” I snapped irritatedly.
“To answer your question, you're still in Zeke's room.”
I frowned. “And where is he?”
“I'm in your dreams, Princess. You'll be seeing me more often. Unfortunately, I have to clear your memories. Can't risk the see-brids looking into your memory, can we?” He chuckled.
I'd be damned if I understood what he was talking about. To maintain my sanity, I didn't push further.
“And my second question?”
“I told you already, Princess. You belong to me.”
“I don't belong to you!” I snapped.
“We'll see about that. I have to go, Princess. Zeke is about to wake you up. See you in your dreams tonight.”
…
“Kitten, wake up.” Zeke's voice roused me from sleep. His face was close to mine, and I could feel his cock inside me. He hadn't pulled out.
‘Mm, the perfect way to wake up.’ I mused.
“Morning,” I greeted, my eyes opening fully. He stole a quick kiss, and pulled away.
“You can sleep a little more, if you wish. You look like you'd need it.” He smiled.
Fuck, this man was breathtaking.
I sat up on the bed. “I would? Are we going somewhere?” I asked him.
As he slipped into his trousers, I admired his muscular and hard-toned back. Well, I'd decided to enjoy his company for sometime.
I'd initiated a breakup, and what happened?
I ended up with a lewd psycho. What was his name again? Raymond. Yeah, Raymond.
“Yes,” he replied and turned to me. “We can bathe together, to save time.” He said suggestively.
I turned down his offer, knowing we'd be doing more than bathing.
“Freshen up, and be out soon. I'd fix our breakfast.” He was about to go out, when I stopped him.
“Zeke?” I called out and he faced me.
“Yes?”
“Am I distracting you?” I asked in a small voice.
His contemplative eyes flashed at me. “Well, it depends on what kind of distraction you mean. If you're talking about your beautiful ass, and even more beautiful pussy, then that's quite a distra-
My cheeks colored crimson in embarrassment. “Zeke!”
He chuckled, and came back to sit close to me. “Okay Kitten, tell me what you're talking about.”
“Good to see, you have some sense of humor. I meant Weasels. Your kingdom, your marriage. Am I a distraction?” I asked with bated breath, refusing to meet his gaze.
I was afraid of what I might see.
“Look at me, Mirah.” He requested, and I did. His hands cupped my face.
“You'd never be a distraction to me, Kitten. You're all I ever wanted.” He leaned down, and slowly captured my lips.
I sighed into his mouth, my hands automatically encircling his neck. He groaned, and lifted me with ease onto his lap.
I straddled his waist, making myself comfortable as I deepened the kiss.
I brushed my tongue against his, tasting him, and closing my eyes while I was at it. He pinched at my nipple, and I moaned.
He pulled away, his eyes darkened from desire. “You're so beautiful. I could stare at you all day.”
