Chapter 31 kidnapping
Genesis's POV:
"Genesis, want to go to the souvenir shop together?"
At the room door, Forth invited me with a bright smile.
Thanks to Eli's signature, I'd successfully gotten permission to join the class trip and leave Valleria City. This was already the second day of our journey. The teacher said we could have free time, which was what I'd been looking forward to most!
I looked at Forth apologetically and shook my head: \[Sorry, I want to go to the street art district. I'm very interested in the performance art there.\]
"Maybe I could go to the art district with you, then we could go to the souvenir shop together?" Forth suggested.
But I wasn't really planning to go to the art district. I intended to open my own savings account. Of course I couldn't go with him.
This trip only had this one chance for free activity. I couldn't miss it.
Just as I was thinking how to politely decline, Forth's friends nudged him with their elbows. "Boys and girls like different things. Don't put Genesis in a difficult position."
Forth scratched his head embarrassedly. "I didn't think of that. Well... just be careful on your own."
I nodded. Just as I was about to close the door, I heard Forth say anxiously, "Then shall we have dinner together later?"
I hesitated for a while, then replied: \[I don't know when I'll finish...\]
"Then let's contact each other later." Perhaps afraid I'd refuse again, Forth hurriedly left this sentence and quickly left with his friends, not giving me another chance to refuse.
The boys left playfully fighting. I even heard Forth's friend teasing him: "Hey! That's not how you chase girls. You're too wooden!"
Forth replied something I couldn't catch, and everyone laughed again.
I watched their retreating figures without much emotional reaction.
To me, Forth was just a friend who looked out for me. I was destined to study abroad in the future, which meant we wouldn't have deep entanglements.
He'd naturally give up when we couldn't see each other anymore.
I put on a baseball cap and quietly left the hotel.
I'd made an appointment with the bank yesterday. Today's bank card processing was faster than I'd imagined, which made me breathe a sigh of relief.
When I received the bank card from the teller, I felt secretly excited. This would be an important step in escaping the Martinez family!
"Genesis?"
I immediately hid the bank card in my bag and turned around, pretending nothing happened.
It was actually Delilah?
Delilah looked me up and down suspiciously. "What are you doing here?"
I instinctively stepped back, guiltily avoiding her gaze: \[Our school is having a class trip to the city. My bank card was fraudulently charged, so I came to handle it.\]

Delilah's POV:
Genesis faced me like a mouse seeing a cat! How delightful!
A bastard raised by a mistress shouldn't have been born at all!

"You sold the car Sofia compensated you with, then opened a bank account to save the money!" I immediately exposed her lie!
Her face indeed turned ugly, becoming pale as if she were seriously ill.
She actually knew to be afraid! She took Sofia's family's money, yet dared to let Eli get revenge for her!
This shameless bitch! This is how she played pitiful to gain Eli's sympathy!
I grabbed her clothes and dragged her out of the bank.
No one dared stop me! Because I was a VIP customer of this bank!
"You shameless trash! Why did you harm Sofia after taking her car and money! Do you know she's seriously injured now!"
Genesis clasped her hands together, begging me for mercy. She was playing pitiful again!
I wasn't Eli! I didn't fall for this act at all!
I directly dragged her to my car and pressed her against the window!
"Is this how you seduced Eli?"
Looking at her beautiful face, jealousy burned like flames in my heart!
A damn mistress's daughter, a bastard child, why did she deserve such a beautiful face!
I angrily slapped her face. Her face immediately swelled up, and my nails scratched several bloody marks on her face!
I felt much better!
Her face should look like this!
The little mute's hands frantically gestured in sign language I couldn't understand!
Without understanding, I knew she was begging me for mercy!

"You should have stayed away from Eli earlier! I warned you before! You're really cheap!" I pinched Genesis's face.
My long nails dug into her face, drawing blood!
Genesis kept bowing to me in pain.
Seeing her so miserable made me so happy!
This was why I wanted to handle her personally!
I wanted to see her afraid! In pain!
See her kneel and beg me!
But in the end, she could only die by my hands!
I took out the knife I'd kept in my bag. The little mute immediately widened her eyes.
I immediately thought of the sheep I'd raised and killed when I was twelve.
When I slit its throat, the sheep's eyes were just like this, slowly widening!
So delightful!
The feeling of killing them was so delightful!
"Don't worry, I won't let you die now! Letting you die like this would be too easy! I'll first scar your face! Then take photos and send them to Eli! Let him see your ugly appearance! Make him disgusted with you! Sick of you! Then I'll peel off your skin to make face masks for me!"
The little mute frantically shook her head, scared to tears!
My knife slowly approached the little mute's face. I loved torturing them, never giving them quick deaths!
But I noticed the road outside was completely wrong!
"Go to the warehouse in the west of the city! What are you doing?" I angrily scolded the driver.
This driver had followed me so long, yet was still so stupid!
Not only did the driver not apologize, he actually drove erratically! The car suddenly shook violently, and Genesis and I both fell to the ground.
I finally couldn't help but roar: "Are you blind? How dare you make me fall to the ground!"
The driver turned around expressionlessly. Looking at his expression, I immediately realized something was wrong.
He unceremoniously pulled out a gun from his chest and shot me in the shoulder!
