Chapter 83 Elope with Forth

Chapter 83 Elope with Forth
Genesis's POV:

Jacob's men dragged me roughly. I couldn't struggle at all.

I never expected Jacob to be so bold, planning to kill me directly! Wasn't he just worried about being discovered by the Martinez family?

"Boss, I found another guy!"

Just then, Jacob's men dragged Forth in.

Forth looked terrible. He was covered in blood, and his hands were bent at unnatural angles. When he saw Jacob, he immediately shouted loudly, "Let Genesis go! She's innocent!"

Jacob glanced at him with disgust and frowned at Delilah's subordinates.

"Who is this?"

Delilah's men were already scared out of their wits and quickly explained, "This is Genesis's classmate. He's the one who lured Genesis out."

They briefly explained what happened. Jacob's eyes immediately lit up.

He squatted down and lifted Forth's chin. "You like Genesis? That's perfect."

Seeing the smile on Jacob's face, my heart slowly sank.

He had just wanted to kill me, and now he was showing this kind of smile. It definitely wasn't good news.

"Throw them both into the sea. Make it look like they eloped together." Jacob glanced at Delilah with regret. "If I had known about your existence, I wouldn't have had to kill Delilah."

After speaking, he stomped hard on Forth's wound and had his men drag both of us out.

We were roughly thrown into the trunk. I watched Jacob personally set fire to the farm, burning all the evidence.

The trunk door closed. In the darkness, my pain was magnified to the extreme. I felt like I was reliving the agony of being whipped.

I bit down hard on my teeth, pressed my body tightly against the car wall, and thought of ways to escape.

But now even moving had become extremely difficult for me. How could I possibly escape?

Just when I was most frustrated, Forth spoke weakly.

In the darkness, his voice became particularly clear.

"I'm sorry, Genesis. I was too stupid to believe Delilah's lies. That's why I brought you to her car!" Forth's voice broke as he spoke, choking up softly.

I didn't want to accept his apology at all!

Hearing his crying, my heart filled with anger and unwillingness!

So close! I was so close to getting the freedom I wanted! That video had already been sent to Jordan. He should see it soon. Then he would definitely be furious and drive Eli away. I could take the opportunity to escape and go to college!

But at the most critical moment, Forth made such a huge mistake! Now forget about freedom, I was about to lose my life.

The more I thought about it, the angrier I became. I completely ignored him.

Soon, the car stopped. Forth and I were brought to a cliff.

I didn't even have time to look at Jacob before being mercilessly thrown into the sea.

Cold seawater attacked from all directions, quickly swallowing me.

Soon, all the air in my lungs was squeezed out. I tried desperately to swim upward but it was useless. The feeling of suffocation became more and more severe.

Was I going to die here?

I didn't want to die yet!

In a daze, I saw a figure swimming toward me! It was actually Eli!

Eli grabbed me and swam rapidly toward the surface!

I don't know how much time passed, but I finally surfaced, gasping for air!

I held tightly onto Eli's neck and cried.

So close. I was so close to really dying!

Eli comfortingly touched my head and held me as he swam all the way to shore.

My strength had reached its limit. I collapsed on the rocks and didn't move for a long time. I suddenly remembered Forth, who had also been thrown down. I weakly grabbed Eli and signed to him.

[Forth was also thrown down.]

Although I was sick of Forth's stupidity, I couldn't watch him die in front of me.

Eli's face immediately darkened.

Just then, I saw Walker had already pulled Forth up from the water not far away. My tense nerves finally relaxed, and everything went black as I fainted.

Eli's POV:

I never expected that after Genesis barely escaped death, the first thing she'd do after being rescued was worry about that idiot Forth!

"Do you like Forth that much?"

Before I could finish speaking, I saw Genesis's face turn pale as she fainted.

My heart sank suddenly. I couldn't care about anything else and quickly caught her. Only then did I realize the person in my arms was abnormally hot. She had a fever!

"Take them to the hospital first." I immediately picked up Genesis and rushed toward the car!

After getting in the car, Walker saw me still holding Genesis and sighed helplessly.

"To save her, you didn't hesitate to defy Don Martinez and used your own resources to issue that family statement. And what happened? When she woke up, she was still thinking about her little boyfriend. Is it worth it?"

Walker was indignant on my behalf, but I looked down at Genesis in my arms.

Ever since I learned she was kidnapped, I had approached Jordan and demanded he issue a statement to find Genesis.

Only by bringing this matter into the open would Jacob realize the seriousness of the situation. Given his personality, he would definitely come personally to deal with Delilah, and I could successfully find Genesis.

But what I didn't expect was that when Walker and I arrived, the farm had already turned into a sea of fire!

When I saw that scene, my heart almost stopped beating! I thought Genesis had been burned to death in the farm.

If Walker hadn't held me back tightly, and if Inigo hadn't discovered traces of a car leaving, I might have really rushed in to look for Genesis!

Fortunately, we reached the seaside in time and saved her.

But she only cared about Forth! I still remembered what the captured Nelson family members said. They said Genesis was trying to elope with Forth, which was how Delilah caught her!

My heart felt like it was being stirred by a knife!

I angrily yelled at Walker, "Shut up!"

I admit I was taking my anger out on Walker!

But thinking about how before receiving the news, I had been looking forward to tonight's date with Genesis, looking forward to telling her I bought her a villa, looking forward to her being happy.

I was like a clown!

An idiot!

The more I thought about it, the angrier I became. I punched the front seat hard!

Walker and Inigo exchanged glances. Neither dared say anything more.

My fingers traced the scars on Genesis's face as I sighed heavily.

Heartache and anger almost consumed me.

But I wouldn't let go. Never.
