Chapter 8 Tutoring
Genesis's POV
"What are you doing?"
Just when I was in despair, a male voice rang out, followed by someone quickly rushing over and pushing Sofia and her friends away.
I quickly got up and spat out those disgusting things from my mouth.
"Forth, you're actually helping this bitch?" I heard Sofia's scream.
Forth ignored her and helped me up.
I didn't expect Forth would stand up to help me. He was in my class, but we usually never talked.
"She's suffered enough. Do you want me to get the principal over here?"
Sofia was obviously afraid of involving the principal, but she was used to being arrogant and wouldn't let me leave.
"Forth, she's a slut who seduces her own uncle. Why are you helping her? You're treating me like this when I've been so good to you!"
Sofia liked Forth. This was something the whole school knew.
Forth had helped me, so she definitely hated me even more now.
"I don't believe Genesis is that kind of person!" Forth firmly refuted Sofia.
Forth's trust made my nose sting a little.
"I'm telling the truth! My cousin is her uncle's fiancée! She saw it with her own eyes!" Sofia yelled.
Forth frowned, and my heart felt heavy. Forth also believed their words.
"This has nothing to do with you. You have no right to treat Genesis like this! You should apologize to her!"
"What?" Sofia screamed in disbelief. "You want me to apologize to this bitch? Have you been seduced by this bitch too?"
"What are you talking about? Genesis and I are completely innocent!" Forth roared angrily.
"I won't apologize to her anyway!" Sofia left angrily.
I breathed a sigh of relief.
Forth looked me over. When he saw my wet clothes clinging to my body, he awkwardly looked away.
Then he took off his jacket and put it on me.
"Do you want to go change your clothes?"
I nodded, then took out my phone to type and thank him.
Forth shook his head. "This is what I should do. Go change your clothes quickly."
\[I have spare clothes in my locker on the first floor.\] I thought for a moment. \[I can go by myself. I'll wash your jacket and return it to you.\]
"I'm worried Sofia might come back. Let me walk you there."
Faced with Forth's kindness, I didn't refuse again.
After I got clothes from my locker, Forth offered to let me use the football team's locker room.
"There's a bathroom there. You can wash up a bit. I'll guard the door for you. Don't worry, I won't let them bully you again."
I was very grateful for Forth's thoughtfulness.
When I came out after washing and changing, Forth was still waiting for me at the door.
We walked back to the classroom together. He didn't ask me what was really going on with Eli, giving me enough dignity. Faced with such a gentleman, I didn't want him to get into trouble.
So I typed on my phone: \[Why did you help me? Sofia's father is on the school board. No one dares to mess with her.\]
In the cafeteria, those people only dared to watch from the sidelines, not just because they liked watching drama, but because they didn't dare provoke Sofia.
"We're classmates. I can't just watch you get bullied." Forth said matter-of-factly.
"Besides, even if I didn't help you, Sofia has always been causing me trouble. A little more won't make any difference."
He was probably talking about Sofia's crazy pursuit of him. Sofia would warn and beat up any girl who got close to Forth. She would block him on his way to and from school.
He continued, "Actually, I also have something I want to ask for your help with. I've always wanted to get into Walton University, but you know their admission requirements are very high. Although I won the best athlete award in the national high school football championship, my grades... you know. I want you to help me with tutoring."
I quickly shook my head. \[You should hire a tutor. I'm just a student too.\]
But Forth smiled. "Actually, I've seen you help other classmates solve problems. You just typed a few lines and solved their problems. I watched from the side and learned too. I can't understand what those tutors are saying."
I didn't expect he had noticed these things before, but I pointed to my throat, indicating that I couldn't speak and couldn't tutor him.
"Just like now, communicate through phone." Forth suggested.
After hesitating, I still agreed. Forth had helped me today, so I should give back to him.
\[I can try first. If it doesn't work, we can change anytime.\] I showed him the content on my phone.
Forth showed a happy smile. "Then I'll see you tomorrow."
I also squeezed out a smile for him, but I was still worried inside. I felt Sofia wouldn't let me off easily.
The next day, as soon as I entered the school gate, I noticed everyone was looking at me strangely. Some people even pointed at me right in front of me.
My heart immediately had a bad feeling. Their gazes made me feel embarrassed.
When I walked to the bulletin board, I found quite a few people gathered there. Everyone was pointing at the bulletin board discussing something, constantly making disgusting laughter.
I didn't want to get involved in these things and planned to hurry to the classroom, when I heard them call my name.
"Genesis really seduces men everywhere! Yesterday she actually had sex with Forth in the football team's locker room! So disgusting!"
What were they talking about?
I pushed through them and squeezed to the front of the bulletin board.
There was a sentence written in red paint: "Horny bitch seduces football captain, passionate sex in locker room!"
Then photos of me and Forth in the football locker room were plastered all over the bulletin board.
But they had replaced mine and Forth's bodies with naked bodies from who knows where.
With a "buzz," I felt my head explode.
I was completely stunned in place. Shame! Pain! Anger! All piled up in my chest!
It wasn't like that at all!
