Shawn looked at her straight in the eyes and after a few seconds, he immediately pulled his hand back. Luna was shocked by his sudden behavior. Shawn would never do this to her, even when he still remembers her. He always thinks first before he says something to her to prevent her feelings from getting hurt.
Why is he so different after he lost his memories? Why are you like this, Shawn? Luna thought.
"Luna, I'm sorry. I was just wondering why you cried earlier so I gave you my handkerchief to wipe your tears. You know, I hate seeing a woman crying. But I still do not remember you. Even if I remember you, we might never be like we used to be. Please do not waste your time because of a person like me. I am sorry ", then he held Liza's left hand. Liza felt Shawn's warmth that made her smile.
"Anyway, please forget me too". Shawn said while staring at Luna, dismayed. He cannot believe that the woman in front of him is very persistent in pursuing him. He did not know what Luna saw in him. If they are really related to each other why can't he remember her?
Luna felt the pain from his words, but she still managed to smile bitterly because somehow Shawn's attitude did not change. He is still a gentleman even though he lost his memories. It is indeed a heartbreaking word for her. Even before, he would never say that to her or any woman. What caused him to change was Liza.
Luna grabs Shawn's right hand while she uses her other hand to wipe her cheeks. He really loves Shawn so much that she will do everything to hold him and never lose him.
"I will not let you go. I will not give up." Luna seriously said straight to Shawn's eyes. Shawn suddenly felt something inside his chest, but he ignored it due to shock from what Luna said.
Luna said before she let go of his hand and left them. Liza's eyes widened in shock. She got mad while watching Luna walking away. She looked at Shawn who was also staring at the back of Luna.
That damn Luna! Liza thought while clenching her fist.
While walking away, Luna decides she will visit or interrupt Shawn just to make him remember her.
If Shawn thinks that Luna will be shuttered just because of what he said, he is wrong. Shawn did not remember but he once said to Luna that she should never give up on her dreams.
Now that Luna remembers what Shawn said to him before, she thinks that she needs to prove to him that he is her dream. Luna's dream besides becoming a doctor is to become the wife of Shawn.
Since that day, she always went to see Shawn when she had spare time after her review class. Sometimes, she goes to Shawn's building just to bring him breakfast, but Shawn always rejected her or avoided her.
Shawn is studying to become a doctor and soon, he will inherit his parent's hospital, so he is working hard. Luna does not have any intention to stop him from running away from her because she does not want to force him. After all, Shawn's once promised her that he will work hard for their future family, but Shawn cannot remember that for now.
She remembered that it was their dream, to become the best doctor in the world to become husband and wife, build a lovely family and live peacefully but since the accident, it seems that their dreams started to become shallow.
"Luna, can you please..." Shawn did not know what to say about Luna because of her persistent attitude. Although he always avoided her and forced her to stay away from him. She still follows him everywhere. "Are you not tired? If you are not, at least, try to consider my situation. I am a busy person Luna, please stop already." Shawn said frustratingly at her.
"I am sorry Shawn, but this is the only free time we have. That is why I only visit you at your vacant time. Can you spend your time with me during the morning? I am really jealous when you spend more time with Liza during the evening." Luna sincerely said but Shawn ignores her words.
Luna smiled. She does not let herself get affected by Shawn's words because she knew that Shawn just lost his memories, not his feelings or love towards her. She believes that Shawn will someday come back to her.
Shawn facepalmed her. He cannot believe that Luna was not in her right mind right now. He is already impatient when Luna always bothers him and now, he is mad because she is asking for his time.
"Luna, from now on stay away from me. You disgust me. Are you even worthy? I do not want to hurt women like you, but you leave me no choice. You're wasting my time". Shawn left immediately and did not waste time glancing at Luna who is waiting to give the food she cooked for him.
Worthy? How dare he question her worth?
After what they have been through, Luna did her best for Shawn. She always took care of Shawn whenever he was sick, comforted him whenever he was sad, and she was always by her side whenever he was not in his happy mood.
Is she really not worthy of him?
After he left, Luna burst into tears. It was very painful, yet she cannot just give up. Shawn is the only person she has left, so she does not want to lose him.
Even if it hurts her, she will try her best to endure it. Luna thought.
When she thought of Liza, she clearly remembered the day Shawn visited Liza for dinner. Since then, she always saw them eating at a fancy restaurant at night. Sometimes, an out-of-town date.
She was really jealous, but she cannot do anything because Shawn always pushed him to go away, and sometimes when Shawn is not around Liza tries to scheme with her.
