"I suppose... I'll pay a visit some... at some time around." Luna got her way out of the room with heavy emotion. Gradually moving, she is so disappointed because of the surprising turn of events. She felt that Shawn would recall everything after he woke up, but he did not. She cries with pain and makes other people see her.
When Luna left the room, Madam Lucas moved towards Shawn and pursued her son to stay away from Luna. She allowed her son to rest after speaking to her.
"Sweetheart, I adore Liza more than this rubbish Luna. She is more proper for our Shawn". Madam Lucas stated that her husband is currently reading a newspaper.
"You are right. We must say something great to Shawn about her. If Shawn marries her, her family reputation can support our business. We cannot allow this chance to go away" Mister Lucas replied while reading the news about the Ferrer family launching ten branches of malls around the country.
Luna traveled home, still not changing her clothes, slowly moved towards her room, and rested down. With unfilled emotions, still believing in Shawn's situation. She cannot imagine a good solution.
Too many disheartening thoughts keep exploding out of her mind. She cannot get her eyes close and is still thinking about between her and Shawn.
She is hoping that he could remember everything.
Hoping that he still chooses her.
Hoping that he still stays by her side and fights for her.
Hoping and believing that he still loves her as much as she does.
An unexpected sound made Luna stand up. She overheard something crash in the living room. She clutched something and ran down to see if someone crept into her house.
She attempted to open the switch in the living room, but it did not light up.
Did someone break the light? She asked herself while feeling worried. What if there is someone who crept inside her house and tried to hurt her? What will she do?
Merely the glow from the moon that bypassed through the house windows gave light inside the living room. She can see the fragments of the flower vase spread around the floor.
Is it a cat? She thought but it is ridiculous. She does not have any cats at home. There are not any stray cats in her area. Luna thought about spirits and she suddenly felt a fear strike caused by fear. When she was about to get hold of a broom and dustpan to tidy up, someone unfamiliar caught her hand tightly.
"Ah!" she screams.
She kept the broom tight as soon as someone grabbed her hands, then smashed it into that strange person. It was a man. Though, the man did not tumble on the ground. He was tough. The minute Luna smashed the broom, he grabbed it with power, then tossed it away. At that time, she was worried and frightened. She can feel her heart thumping fast. Sweat flowing down through her skin. When she finds an opportunity to run, she gets hold of the pillow on the couch then throws it to him.
"What are you doing? Throwing and smashing my face with a pillow would not kill me." The man finally talked. It was a deep and masculine voice. "I will not hurt you so calm down and listen to me.". He said it gently.
"No way why are you even snuck here?! I will call the cops! Help! Help me!" Luna screamed, then the man ran in the direction of her and covered her mouth.
"Can you just calm down and let me explain? Do not wait for my patience to run out". The man gradually removed his hands from Luna's mouth.
It was a minute of silence then. Luna got to calm down herself. She gazed at the man, but she cannot see the man's face because of the darkness.
"Explain, I want to know who you are? W-what did you want? How did you get here? I do not r-remember to anger anyone besides my rival in love" she spoke it with a fearful tone while placing her hands together holding herself.
"What are you talking about?" the man said with uncertainty on his face. "Just shut up and listen, I am not going to hurt you just let me stay here for a night" The man leaned at the wall and sat on the cold ground.
"Do you not have a house or even a hotel payment and you thought of staying here?" Luna asked while her face could not believe it. The man looks just as rich.
"You do not have to know my name or something about me. It would put you in danger if you got to know me. Just stay silent and follow everything I need you to do" The man clarified it with a feeble voice while gazing constantly on his sides.
Luna calms down a little bit when he hears the man's explanation, but he thinks he is somehow arrogant. As soon as she looks at the man's face, her eyes unintentionally gaze at the blood between her and the man's hand, which got her shocked. The man was wounded. She realized it too late when the man unexpectedly suffered a little pain in his left shoulder.
"You are wounded, what happened to your shoulder? she asked with a worried tone and moved to respond to his wounded shoulder.
"Never mind, my shoulder just got wound with a blade". The man's voice is still calm and cold. It feels like he does not feel so much discomfort on his shoulder.
"No way, you are hurt. Why are you so relaxed when you just got a stab? Stay here! I will stop the bleeding" She said furiously while taking the man's arms to see the wounded part clearly, she took him towards the couch and let him sit. The man was stunned by her abrupt reaction because no one urged her to yell at him before. But when she was about to go, the man grabbed her wrist and stopped her.
Luna turned her head to look at the man holding her hand tightly.
