Chapter 7: Chapter Seven

Once they arrived at Drake's penthouse, he handed the keys to the valet and walked over to Lydia's side of the car, opening her door for her once again. As she stepped out, he interlocked his fingers with hers and gazed down at her affectionately. Lydia was taken by surprise, but she went along with it. Maybe, Drake was always this affectionate with the women he took home.

When they made it into the main part of the building, Drake strolled right up to the bell hop, letting go of her hand and placing his on her hip, pulling her closer to him, "Hey Craig, this is my girlfriend, Lydia. She'll be staying with me." Drake stated, before kissing the top of Lydia's head.

Craig's eyes roamed over Lydia quickly, he stare seemingly stuck on her bust. Lydia was only in a tank top after all and her assets were on full display. And her perky full D-cups were both creamy and lush. Anyone would want to bury their face between her soft pillows.

"Eh-hmm," Drake cleared his throat, pulling Craig's attention back to him. Craig looked up, face turning a bright shade of tomato red, ashamed at having been caught staring at his boss' woman.

"Umm...Okay, sir." Craig gulped, noting to pull up Drake's files and add Lydia's name to it, all while he tried to pretend like he hadn't just been caught ogling Lydia's chest. "The rest of the staff will be informed."

"Perfect, thanks Craig." Drake smiled nonchantlantly, before tugging Lydia's hand and leading her to the elevator.

They entered the elevator and Drake hit P for Penthouse before swiping his key badge into the card reader. Lydia looked at him questioningly as she watched him.

"It's just an extra security precaution. Craig will have one made up for you tonight." Drake replied, responding to Lydia's unasked question.

"Oh...Okay." Lydia replied, staring down at her worn out sneakers. She'd thought the seamstress visit had proved to her how rich Drake was, but it seemed like he was on a whole other level of rich, and she was beginning to feel a bit uncomfortable about it all. How was she supposed to pretend that she fit in with him, when she had no idea about the lifestyle he was accustomed to?

As the elevator pinged, indicating they had arrived at their desired floor, the doors slid open and they stepped into a stunning sitting room.

"The elevator opens right into my home. It's why I had the key installed so no one can. venture up here. I own this entire building, and currently I am the only person occupying the building, but if one day decide to open up the other homes in the building to the public, I wanted to make sure my home stayed secure."

Drake's words fell on deaf ears as Lydia was completely absorbed in the stunning sights surrounding her. Her eyes widened with wonder at the sheer beauty of the room. The back wall, a grand display of floor-to-ceiling windows, provided a breathtaking view of the bustling city below. Starlight flooded through the glass and danced across the polished marble floors, creating a dreamlike glow.

The room was lavishly furnished with two spacious black leather couches placed facing each other, with a stunning coffee table in between. On one side of the room stood a billiards table, adorned with a grand chandelier overhead. And on the other side, a fully stocked bar beckoned for attention. It was clear that this space was meant for entertaining guests, and it only made sense for it to have its own separate entrance without having to walk through the entire house.

While Lydia was examining his entertainment room, Drake was watching her. Taking in her awe and wonder at his lavish lifestyle. Something about her made him want to smother her in riches. This was another reason he'd chosen her. He wanted someone who would appreciate the value of hard-work, not someone who would want to scheme her way into his money. "So would you like a tour of the rest of my home, or would you like to get straight to business?" He inquired, bringing Lydia's attention back to him, watching as she visibly shuddered. He grimaced at his own words, realizing she probably thought he meant to bed her tonight. He had no plans of having sex with her. While she was breathtakingly gorgeous, Drake Alston did not need to pay for sex. Lydia was here to be his girlfriend, not his fuck toy.

"Whatever you'd like to do first, Sir." Lydia blushed, not used to being given a choice.

Drake cleared his throat. His blood running hot at her use of the word Sir. It was his preferential name in the bedroom. "Well how about we start with the basics. From this day forth you are my live in girlfriend until our contract is void. No more calling me, Sir, unless you want to. Anything you want, you can have. Spoiling is my favorite part of a relationship. And you, Lydia Greystone, will eat, sleep, and breath being my girlfriend. Is that understood?"

Lydia bit her bottom lip. Her blush quickly spread from her cheeks down to her chest, coating her skin a lovely shade of red. "Yes, Drake." She whispered.

"And if you bite your lip again I'll be forced to kiss you without warning." Drake replied gruffly, staring at her mouth.

Lydia let go of her lip instantly. She wasn't ready for Drake to kiss her, but she felt a sense of pride knowing that he found her attractive.

"Okay, now that that is out of the way, let me show you to our room."

Wait? Did he say our room? Lydia could feel herself beginning to panic. She'd never actually slept with her clients before. Sure, they'd had sex, but sleeping was an entirely different form of intimacy. To her it was more intimate than sharing ones body with someone else.

Not knowing that Lydia was on the verge of a panic attack, Drake grabbed her hand and pulled her down the hall into the first door on the right. His room was pretty simple. It had a large, king sized, four poster bed centered in the middle of the back wall. There was a small desk and chair. The desk had a reading lamp on it and some papers strewn across it. There were also two large style barn doors, which were shut. Lydia wondered where those doors led, maybe a closet? Perhaps an ensuite? It didn't take long for Lydia to get her answers. Through one door was a large walk-in closet. One side filled with Drake's clothing, and the other bare.

"When your clothes arrive, we will put them here." he smiled, "I hope you don't mind, but I've sent your measurements over to Cesare Attolini and they will be sending over an entire wardrobe for you for the month. Shoes and jewelry included."

"The dresses from the seamstress should be more than enough," Lydia replied, furrowing her brows, "That alone cost a small fortune, I cannot imagine an entire month's wardrobe..." She paused, forcing herself not to bite her lip.

"Only the best for my girlfriend." Drake smiled, taking her hand and leading out of the closet, brushing aside her worries.

The other door opened up to reveal, what would end up being Lydia's favorite room in the entire home, a large luxurious bathroom. The bathroom had Jack and Jill sinks, a walk in smart shower, that had a rain shower spray setting, and tucked into the corner was a jacuzzi tub that could easily fit a part of five, with room to spare. Drake quickly showed Lydia the rest of the penthouse, before bringing her back to the sitting room, and gesturing for her to take a seat on one of the black leather couches.

"Now it's time to talk business. Would you like a drink?" He asked, smiling back at her as he walked over to his bar.
