By the time the clock struck ten, the Reece’s house was unrecognizable. Beer cans, plastic cups and
used condoms were littered on the lawn.
Some people were also passed out on the lawn and Kira was surprised none of the neighbors called the police or Kaleb’s and Mirabella’s parents. 1
Bailey yelped when a sweaty guy tried to sneakily rub against her side.
Fuck she needed out of here but she can’t leave Mira alone.
Mira held her hand and brought her to the dance floor.
“Let’s dance Bailey!” She squealed. Mira had drank a few beers but she wasn’t a lightweight so at least Bailey wasn’t too worried about her.
Bailey reluctantly started moving her hips, rolling them to the beat of the song.
There were eyes on her but she dared not look yet. She wanted to enjoy this moment with her best friend who looked at least happy.
She didn’t want to ruin it.
“Yes bitch move those hips!” Mira cheered, and lifted her hand with the red cup. Some beer spilled
out but she didn’t seem to care.
Bailey giggled, holding one of Mirabella’s hands and moved her hips even more.
The stench of marijuana and sweat filtered out of her mind as she focused on her happy best friend. At least one of them was happy.
Suddenly there’s a pair of hands locking on her lips and Bailey turns back to see that it was a guy from school. (1)
He grinned at her sloppily and guided her hips to move across his front.
She was grossed out, especially when she felt the unmistakable feel of his hard dick on her bottom.
Nasty,
“Can you move away?” She asked politely and peeled his fingers off her waist.
The guy looks bummed out. “But I just want to dance cutie. Please just one dance?” He begged.
Feeling a little bad, Bailey gnaw on her lips and then slowly started moving her waist on the guy.
Okay, this didn’t feel good. She thought as the guy’s fingers bit into her skin.

She sensed eyes looking at her from across the room and looked over to see who.
She stiffen and shivered at the pure look of fury swimming in Kaleb’s eyes as he looked at her over the rim of the cup.
He downed the beer and crushed the red cup into a ball.
There’s a girl beside him, speaking into his ear while she runs her hand down his chest.
Kaleb looked uninterested and suddenly with a curling sneer on his lips he made his way over to Bailey and Mira.
Seeing that flash of fury in Kaleb’s eyes, Bailey stilled completely and looked over at Mira in alarm.
Mira though didn’t notice her stare as her hands are thrown up and her eyes are sealed shut while she danced to the music.
It was only when Kaleb stood beside them in all his raging form did she finally sense the brewing of tension in the air.
She peeled her eyes open and then landed on her brother whose eyes were focused on the guy behind
Bailey.
Mirabella’s eyes drop and noticed that her brother’s hand had warmed around the guy’s wrist like a band of steel. She could’ve sworn he was on the verge of snapping it with the way the color of his flesh turned ashen white.
And judging by the wince the guy made, Mira was convinced that her brother had a brutal hold on the guy’s hand.
“Move,” Kaleb said stiffly with anger.
The guy nodded quickly and didn’t need to be told twice as he basically run away from Bailey.
Bailey’s brows knot. Why was Kaleb so angry?
Kaleb’s angry stare weighed heavily on Bailey and then he sneered lowly. “Stop shaking your ass on some random drunk guy. You’re lucky I was here or he’d probably drag your ass upstairs and have his way with you.”
Bailey flinched and then got angry.
The audacity of him.
Narrowing her eyes on his angry face she snapped. “I didn’t ask you to be my knight in shining armor asshole! I was fine and I could’ve handled it myself. And also I can shake my ass on anyone.”

Kaleb grew angry at Bailey’s tone. He saved her from potentially getting raped and that’s how she repay him?
Before he could say anything though, she had already clutched his sister, Mirabella’s hand and tugged her away from Kaleb and off the dance floor.
Bailey seethed silently.
How dare he act like he was her dad or her bodyguard? He should focus on Mirabella, not her!
Bailey dragged Mira to the kitchen, her eyes falling on the beer cans in the big ice bowl. They look tempted right now. 2
She let go of Mira and made her way over to the beer.
The kitchen was empty except for a few drunk girls who were currently barfing in the sink.
Bailey took out one of the beers and popped it open. She wasn’t a girl who liked the taste of beer but when that chill liquid went down her throat she enjoyed it so fucking much that she moaned.
Kaleb really knew how to tick her off.
Gulping and wiping a hand over her mouth, Bailey growled to Mira. “Your brother is so damn annoying.”
Mira walked over to her and rolled her eyes while reaching out for a beer can herself. “Tell me something I don’t know.”
The two girls continued to drink their beer until Bailey’s head started to pound a bit. She groaned and rubbed at her temples.
“Mira I think I’ll head upstairs, I don’t feel like partying anymore,” She said and winced.
She probably shouldn’t have drank those two beers.
Mirabella answered. “You can go on ahead Bailey, I think I’ll stay a bit more. I need to show Ryan that I can have fun. Be safe and lock my door until I come up.
Bailey looked at Mira and contemplated if it was a good idea to leave her. But Mira knew how to handle her alcohol and seemed to not be so out of it. Besides, she was sure Kaleb would be around to look after her.
So Bailey nodded. “Okay. You be safe too Mira, there are perverts everywhere.” She wiggled her nose.
After a few words between the two, Bailey found herself heading to Mirabella’s room while rubbing her temples. She was at least happy even though surprised that there were not many people upstairs.

When Mirabella’s door came into view Bailey’s footsteps quickened. She swung the door open quickly only to slam it back shut in disgust when she saw a couple having sex on Mirabella’s bed.
Groaning in frustration and disgust Bailey tried to think of somewhere else she could rest and get away from the party.
The twins parents room was locked and that only left Kaleb’s room.
Well….
Bailey tried not to think of the cons as she made her way over to Kaleb’s room. She took her time to open the door and breathed out in relief when it was empty.
Thank God. She praised as she entered the room and closed it behind her.
