Chapter 108 CHAPTER 108

Chapter 108 CHAPTER 108
“Follow me,” he called out, his eyes filled with displeasure.

“Am I in trouble?” I asked Master Florian who had stood up and was moving away.

“No you're not,” he answered but he was looking at the Principal.

I grabbed the food he'd brought for me and walked towards Principal Draco.

Master Florian was gone before I got there.

He climbed Styx before I got there and gestured for me to come to the front.

“Why?”

“What are you asking me?”

“Why do you suddenly want me to sit there? The other day you asked me to sit at the back?”

“What's the difference Alira? Get on and stop being more of a headache than you already are.”

“What's with everybody treating me like crap these days?” I hissed, my lips quivering.

“Nobody is treating you like crap, I just realised I didn't give you a proper orientation about how I run this school. It's time for that now.”

“By this time?”

“With what I just saw, you would have slept in the dungeons for three days before being sent to clean all the instructors' quarters. I'm being nice, don't stretch my arms.”

“I would like to know the difference between me hugging him because he was in pain and what happened the last time I was injured and recovering in your house sir,” I asked stubbornly, planting my feet on the ground, resisting the pull of his shadows.

“That was a mistake.”

“Oh so because you were involved, nobody got punished but now, you're denying me a much-needed night's rest just because you're not the one pressed against me?”

“Are you always this irate?”

“When my Principal is being a hypocrite, it's hard not to be!”

We stared at each other for a long minute until he blinked, his long lashes clapping against his skin and then he climbed down from the Steed and walked to me in two strides.

“Do you know what you're doing to me Alira? To us?”

I shook my head.

“Right now, your pheromones are screaming at me to kiss you right now. They're begging me to lift you with me on top of my steed and have my cock bounce inside of you with each gallop Styx makes. I'm itching to –”

“Principal Draco!” I belted, my hands shaking.

He took a deep breath and stepped back.

“But I have control. He should too. You're not ours to have, there's a mistake somewhere like I said before –”

“No, you said you're done running, you asked me to –”

“Forget all of that. None of this is right. The Soul Tie mark on your neck has three ways, it means you have three of us. Who is the third person?”

I opened my mouth to tell him it was Zade but then, that would ruin his plans on getting me out of here.

If that's still happening.

“I don't know,” I whispered, looking down at my feet.

But it all made sense now, I can stop punishing myself for the way I feel.

“Maybe that's who you're truly supposed to be with. You can't be with Florian either. You must go back to your hostel and don't come to classes for the next few days, you hear me?”

I looked up at him, my mind filled with two warring emotions.

Zade. Him.

My body on the other hand had gone from being pissed at everyone and everything to… something I can barely name.

My scales dug into my skin, especially the new one that was regrowing, my lips moistening, my teeth aching, and I felt a scorching heat in my belly.

“I don't know what… is happening to me,” I told him, a whimper following my words.

“I just told you, your body is tired of the back and forth we've been doing and it wants us to touch you. You have to resist it, once I mark you, there's no going back.”

“Why do you want to go back? Why don't you want me?”

“There's so much you don't know about me. My hands have bathed in blood, I've been involved in… things that will keep you up at night if you knew them. Like I said, you –”

“Can you stop treating me like a brainless child? Fine, I won't let you mark me since you clearly don't want me but stop pushing all these excuses out. And stay in one lane, this hot and cold is irritating. If you want to be an asshole, great, but stick to it. Don't tell me what you want to do to my body, don't put ideas in my head, don't carry me in front of you and have your dick tease me throughout the ride and stop telling me who I can or can't be without. You're Principal Draco to me now and everyone says you're harsh. I'll make peace with that, I'm not special to you and that's fine.”

He was quiet and I stopped waiting for him to say anything, to change my mind, to convince me that all of this was going out of control.

But he didn't and I didn't wait for him to; instead, I walked away, touching Styx for a second.

When I got to the hostel, whatever was happening back there had gotten worse and I knew regardless of how I felt, I needed to find Zade.

Akua insisted on it.

“You're going to drive us all mad if you stay here girl, go find your man quickly,” she said as I stepped out of the door.

I traced him to the library, it was like a line was dragging me to him in the dark, and I was unable to think.

I just kept moving until I pushed the door open.

There were still a few people in the library but I didn't look at them, didn't care how this whole thing looked, I just desperately needed to see him or I might combust.

He was walking towards me when I got to the fifth aisle, his eyes telling me Tharagaun was in charge and he let out a loud growl.

Everybody ran out of the library, leaving just us.

Hopefully.
