Chapter 4

Kormac's POV.

I can't believe the other team won the training session. And what's worse Rebecca was the reason why. She needs to learn her place. When I've mated with her, she won't be so willing to humiliate me.

" Really Kor? It's just a class and you need to calm yourself down. That is my mate you're talking about, not just yours." Drake told him in disbelief of his arrogance. " You really do need to change; I can't stand being your wolf."

" Well then why don't you leave? Oh, that's right you can't. And not only are you stuck with me, but I am the one that's in control, so you need to forget about playing nice with our mate." Kormac sneered.

" Don't forget Kormac, if I decide to not turn anymore, no one will want you as their Alpha. You'll be just a werewolf that can’t change. That's lower than a wolfless." Drake countered Kormac's threat.

" You wouldn't dare? What would the Moon Goddess think of you? Refusing your human, like a mutt. So, think about that before you threaten me."

" Oh, I have no doubt that the Moon Goddess would be happy to see one of her good wolves denying the evil that is you." Drake spat out.

" Enough of this conversation. I need to find our mate. I don't have long to change her mind about me. So just stay out of my head until she is mine." Kormac fumed trying to spot Rebecca. She was nowhere to be seen.

That’s ok, we have the next class together. The problem was, when I walked in, she wasn’t there yet. I took my seat and waited for her to show up. It pissed me off to see her walk in with that human. I really just want to rip his throat out and be done with it. I couldn’t concentrate on class. Instead, I found myself staring at Rebecca the whole time. When class was over, she disappeared into the crowd.

I had Alpha studies next. Miss Lindy's class. God, I hate her. She kept her hair short, and it was a dirty blonde. Plus, she was always so perky. Nothing like walking into some "oh, isn't it such a beautiful day" type of shit. But I only had to endure a little longer. Soon I would be that Alpha others studied, and I would make a lot of changes to this pack of useless wolves. This class was optional for most pack members. But anyone that had Alpha in their blood had to take it. Which means I had to put up with Liz in here. Jared was here too. I don’t know why he bothered though.

It was finally lunchtime, so I rushed to the cafeteria in hopes of finding Rebecca. I looked all around but didn't see her anywhere. Did she go off-campus to eat? I didn't see any other normal friends hanging out today either, so they must have all gone out. Great, who knows where they went, and I didn’t feel like driving around to find out.

I know Rebecca is trying to avoid me. I will mate her by force if necessary. I had been doing good all day at playing nice, I didn't even shove little Ben to the locker when I saw him. I was starting to get frustrated, and the frustration was starting to turn to rage. I could hear Drake give a little snicker.

" Just knock it off. It's not funny. Who does she think she is? She knows she's supposed to be my mate. So, what does she do? She ignores me. ME!!!! How dare she. I will just have to teach her a lesson to remind her who I am." I smiled.

I waited around the parking lot for them to show up. It felt like hours. I was just about to walk off when I saw Rebecca pulling up with her friends. I hate her friends!

Josie is always so happy and perky. She has a mouth on her too. She’s okay to look at with long blonde hair, blue eyes, and a good body. If her mouth was sewn shut, she’d be perfect.

Elizabeth, who’s black hair and emerald eyes with gold specs, was good looking as well. Unfortunately, she dresses like she was in some cheesy werewolf horror movie. All black and dark. The real reason I hate her though, she just happens to be my sister.

The last one to get out of the car is the one I hate the most. Jared. One of the few humans to attend our school. He was always hanging around like a lost puppy. He thinks he’s going to be the next pack lawyer, well that just isn’t going to happen. Him and his parents are getting booted.

Rebecca was smiling and laughing at Jared’s jokes, it was revolting. She shouldn’t be hanging out with him anymore, anyway, knowing she’s my mate. Soon that won’t be a problem. Another car pulled up. I watched as Bryon and Aussie got out walking towards the group. Bryon is Rebecca’s twin. He and Aussie mated a couple months ago. I couldn’t believe my dad allowed that.

Bryon is supposed to be the next Beta. Who would want him though? I couldn’t stand watching those two get all lovey-dovey on each other. It’s just unnatural. They were on my list of weeds that need to go. I don’t want a bunch of losers tainting my pack.

Drake’s POV.

I always liked Rebecca’s friends. I know if Kormac knew how I felt, he would do something to hurt them, just to prove a point. It’s not right how he treats people, but there’s not a lot I can do about it.

I’m afraid I will never be with my mate. It’s all because my human is pure evil. I don’t know why the Moon Goddess put us together. I will be stuck alone forever because of Kormac. He just better hope I never gain full control again. He can only keep me hidden for so long. If he doesn’t start letting me out more often, people will start to wonder about him.

I really wanted to be closer to my mate. She’s very beautiful, smart, and a great hunter. I can't wait to meet her wolf. I bet she’s even more amazing. That was, if I ever oet to meet her. Kormac was ruining everything.

I hated him so much.
