“Tell me the truth! When did it start?!” Hugo’s voice echoed inside the hut. I’m sure they could hear him outside. He pulled my hand in front of him when I wasn’t speaking while I started arranging my clothes. Why is he so angry!
“I said I was just full and fat! Why are you making everything a big deal?! ” I removed his hand that was holding me. I didn’t want to give him an answer because I wasn’t sure. If he’s afraid that I’m pregnant, I’m even more afraid of myself!
“I’m not stupid, Adele. I was not born yesterday to believe your reasons!” I touched my ear. Doesn’t he know how to speak more calmly?
“If what you say is true, don’t worry, because I won’t hold you accountable. I might as well abort it if your conclusion is true.” My voice trailed off at what I said. I know what I’m saying is too nonsense, but that’s the only way I can keep him quiet.
I turned around again and touched my stomach. It’s obvious that it getting big, so even if I fool myself that I’m not pregnant, maybe my second person will probably not believe. I looked out the window and saw the boxes being handed out. Maybe we’ll go home now.
Suddenly I felt dizzy again and wanted to faint, but I couldn’t because Hugo was there. I don’t know if I will be hurt by him not answering when I mention the word abort. I also don’t know if I can do that.
I took the suitcase we were carrying and all the dirty clothes. I opened it and inserted the scattered clothes. While I was doing that, he came out. I even jumped when he suddenly slammed the door. When he came out, I felt like I had lost my strength. I want to shed tears. My whole body was so weak that it was almost liquid.
I caress my bulge abdomen and talk. “What if you are there? What do we do if your father doesn’t like you? Can I do it alone?” I let go of the clothes I was holding and went to bed. I have also been sleepy since we were here. After we arrive in the city, I will see the Doctor.
Gradually my eyes gave way as the never-ending folding of clothes was done. Hold the stomach as tears flow into the eyes. Thinking of the consequences even when I shouldn’t be thinking about it.
I woke up when someone lifted me. I saw Hugo talking to someone as I leaned on his chest. The two men entered, and I heard the suitcases closing and them exiting. I would have liked him to put me down. The case is I am still don’t have energy.
“Are you done with what you’re doing?” I asked him in a faint voice. He nodded and also answered immediately while still talking to the others and instructed to bring the bed behind his raptor.
“We’ve already finished. We’ve been able to say goodbye to people as well. You haven’t been able to say goodbye to Chris because you slept so soundly. He came in here earlier while crying.” I was suddenly saddened by what he said. If only that child could be adopted, I would.
I closed my eyes again because I was still drowsy. I also noticed that I had become fond of children that I used to hate. Every time I saw children then I was disgusted because they had a life that I had never experienced. Even as an adult, I couldn’t help but be envious.

I just woke up to the noise of people. I thought I was just dreaming because all I could see was white and light. Laughing people, but those are not rich people. They are like organizers. The house doesn’t have a design or anything, but they cut a lot and a lot of paper is scattered.
Hugo took me down and then fixed my hair. I don’t know if what I saw was right because I was wearing his loose shirt. I’m not sure if I saw the joy in his eyes right.
“What are they doing?” I turned to Hugo after he put me down. I ran my eyes as my heart pounded and my eyes widened. I didn’t know what to do because I felt like I had become a stump.
Mommy Helena while talking to Soleil. I could see mommy Helena laughing as she talked to Aunt Julia and her. They are cutting something. Soleil was still wearing a black hijab. I couldn’t see clearly what they were doing, but I was more worried about Hugo. I looked at him with a frightened expression. He touched my forehead and neck.
“Are you not feeling well?” Fortunately, he is alert. My knees felt like water when Soleil turned to me. Even though I can’t see her eyes, I’m sure she’s looking at Hugo and me.
Hugo caught me quickly. Everyone looked at me as I gripped his arm tightly. My tears rolled down my cheeks. Everyone was anxious because of the way I act. My stomach hurt, too. When my stomach ached, I started to cry. Hugo didn’t know what to do. My tummy insists on the pain. Because I was afraid that something would happen to my baby, I shook Hugo even without strength.
When he lifted me, I could see Soleil nearby and look at me with her dark stares. I ignored that and was frightened by the shout of a woman I had seen with cut paper earlier.
“There’s blood on her leg! Faster! Take her to the hospital!”
“Hugo! Hugo! My baby! My baby!” My face was soaking wet from tears that never stopped flooding.
Before I completely lost consciousness, I heard their screams and his answer before it finally got dark around me.
“Sshh ... Take a deep breath. Nothing will happen to you and our baby.
