Chapter 18
Just at that moment, Amy came out of the university, looking for her friend. They had arranged to go to the library to study for two hours, before she had to go to the hospital again to take care of her grandfather.
Being watched over gave her more security to study in peace, however, it meant expenses.
Lucas ran to her to get her out of sight before Iah saw her.
Confused Amy let herself go, as she was in no mood to defend herself and more so when her best friend was acting strange. He had a worried look on his face, as if someone was going to chase him to do something to him.
"Where are you taking me, I have to study."
"We need to talk, it's urgent."
"With you everything is urgent," she rolled her eyes.
"This if extremely urgent and it involves you," he gave her a stern sideways glance and she frowned.
She didn't remember doing anything wrong in those weeks, besides what she had to deal with with the crazy psychopaths, but it had become an excluded issue after her grandfather had crashed trying to look for her.
"Does it have to do with the crazy psychopaths?"
"Yes and with someone else who...," she fell silent and remembered how she had surrounded him, not caring if anyone saw the two of them in that state that could be misinterpreted, "I'd better tell you about it as we walk away, I can't say it out loud."
Amy didn't know what he was talking about, but she nodded.
What neither of them knew was that Iah had seen the moment when he took a woman quickly, to lead her away from the campus entrance.
Surely it was her.
He licked his lips as a sign of desire and set off on the motorcycle with the girl behind him, leaving a rumble around that drew the attention of those nearby by the roar of the engine.

- Amy -
My friend Lucas drove me away from campus, arriving at the park where we had gone out that night after eating ice cream and where I was having sex, while my grandfather had become concerned about me and on his own had decided to come out and get me.
He had a sudden fainting spell because of that disease that had overpowered him for years; diabetes.
Since he was admitted to the hospital I had to deal with the constant guilt that because I hadn't gone home quickly, he wouldn't have had to leave. That for a simple fuck I had left aside the person I cared about most and now he was teetering between life and death.
He was not to blame and much less that I had been attracted to his body like a magnet, or as when it is inevitable to feel the craving for food, if you had not tasted a bite for months.
However, I still had a hard time dealing with the fact that my aunt blamed me for her dad being sick, when she didn't even care about him. She was more concerned about what he would leave her as an inheritance, starting with that house and a plot of land that he refused to sell, since he had buried my grandmother there.
In his house.
"You're not going to believe what just happened to me," he said quizzically, hallucinating, as if he still couldn't process something. I frowned, not knowing what he meant by that.
"I'm not a fortune teller."
"Amy, the man in the picture," she pointed to her cell phone, "He's the man you helped at the college party, the one in the alcoholic coma, remember?"
I rolled my eyes, "How could I forget, if you remind me of him whenever you can."
"He was here," he pointed out and I looked at him curiously.
"And how do you know that, did they say that because of that group," I folded my arms and leaned back against a railing.
We had gone under the stairs of the basketball court, where people went to hide from each other or just smoke weed.
"Beat it, it's busy, you stoners," my friend shouted behind me and we watched as three guys slowly walked away, after grimacing furiously. They left the smell of their lighters in the air, so I had to hold my nose as they scattered, "Good thing I what's on my mind is more important than dealing with a pack of idiots."
"And what's that important, I'm still waiting, you know."
"Yeah, you're not going to believe this," he licked his lips and took a deep breath, then walked over to me and grabbed my shoulders, "I almost had a heart attack."
"What," I looked at him quizzically.
"This guy, Iah, he made it to college. I don't know how he got to meet a girl here, who also belongs to the crazy psychos and managed to hit on me," he said extremely fast, which I forced myself to rewind in my own head to understand, "I don't know how much he knows or how he got them to help him, although already knowing how menacing he looks when he corners you, it's obvious he made him just like he did me."
I shook my head, "Wait, stop right there. You're telling me that Iah, the stranger at the party, knows someone here who belongs to the private group and managed to get to you?" I asked, trying to organize my thoughts as I understood them. Lucas nodded, "And you're telling me he threatened you?"
"Not exactly, he cornered me against the wall and gave me no alternatives," he covered his face, "I never thought such a masculine man would be capable of doing something like that with someone like me."
"No, stop, I'm lost," I stopped everything, as it was so confusing, "Why did he come after you and bully you?"
"That's the problem, Amy, he didn't come for me. He came for you," he pointed at me and I opened my eyes right away.
"What do you say?"
"I know, I was surprised too, but for having been an idiot and had I said I knew of your existence, he wouldn't have come looking for me," he bit his lips nervously and I couldn't have been more confused and entangled than in my entire life, "He had every chance of winning, as if he had prepared a macabre plan," he shook from a shiver, "It was scary his look, if you had seen it. And his height...," he bit his lips, making a sound, as I tried to process the information and get my act together, "He was a Greek God in front of me, threatening to make my life miserable if I don't do what he wants."
I immediately stopped even my breathing, having heard him threaten it more clearly.
"He did what," I questioned angrily, "Why did he threaten you, what did he want?"
He took a deep breath after seeing my change in attitude, "He wants you," I furrowed every feature of my face right away, "And if I don't make you go to that frat party, he'll make my life miserable with the crazy piscopaths. She already knows one of them, she handles her like a doll and she knows me now. She knows who I am."
My heart went on alert.
What did this man want?
