Chapter 12: Chapter:12

**Dimitri's POV**

We make it back to my place and my heart races at the thought of spending the night with Taylor again. The girl has put some kind of curse on me 'cause I can't seem to get her out of my mind.

The only thing I could think about all week was her and it bothers me. I keep thinking about how beautiful she is, and how good her perfume smells. Little things kept reminding me of her this week and it scares me.

I'm not used to anybody being on my mind all the time.

"Where do you want me to put this?" She asks holding up the bag of snacks that we got from the store. "The kitchen for now. I just need to shower and change into something more comfortable." I said pointing down to my jeans and polo. She sends me a sweet smile and my heart skips two beats.

*She's so damn beautiful.*

"I'll put your bag in my room." I tell her and she smirks before nodding.

I wait for her to walk into the kitchen before I adjust the hard-on in my pants. After taking a deep breath, I make my way into my bathroom and strip my clothes off. I take a cold shower and quickly wash my body.

I don't want to take too long and make her wait.

*Or maybe you just want to stare at her the whole time, you psycho .*

Shutting the water off, I get out and dry off before putting the towel around my body. I run a comb through my hair a couple of times before walking out of the bathroom and into my room. I open the closet door and look. "Dimitri?" I hear her soft voice calling me and a small smile grazes my lips. "Yeah?" I respond as I walk to the closet door. She's awkwardly standing in the doorway of the bedroom and I smile at how small she is compared to the door.

"I was trying to sort the snacks out but I can't find the bowls." She says and I nod. "Let me get dressed real quick and I'll help you." I tell her and she nods. I can see her eyes move down my body before they quickly move back up to my face. An uncontrollable smirk forms on my lips and her cheeks turn pink. "I'll let you get dressed." She quickly mutters before rushing out.

A small laugh escapes me and I go back to the closet to get dressed. I decided to match her by wearing grey sweats and a white round neck. I put some socks on and got a pair for her as well before leaving the room. I walk into the living area and find Taylor sitting on the carpet, looking through my game collection. "Do you want to play a game instead?" I ask and she turns around. "I was just looking. I don't know how." She says and I smile at her. '"I could teach you if you want. We can game all day tomorrow." I offer and she nods with a smile.

"Now how about we get those snacks into bowls and watch that movie," I tell her and she jumps up. We make our way to the kitchen and she gets the snacks out of the bag while I get the bowls. Once all of the snacks are sorted, we go back to the living room and get comfortable on the couch.

After a lot of debating about which movie to watch, we settle on *Bohemian Rhapsody*.

About halfway through the movie, I feel her head resting on my shoulder. "Are you tired?" I ask softly and she softly hums a 'yes'. I chuckle. "I guess it's time for bed then. You can take my room and I'll take the guest room." I offer silently hoping she would let me sleep next to her.

*In a totally non-creepy way, obviously*.

"Oh no, that's fine--" *here it comes* "-I'll take the guest room. I can't kick you out of your own room." She says and my mood dampens a little. "Are you sure?" I ask and she gives me a soft smile and a nod. Her tired eyes sparkle due to the light from the TV and I give her a soft smile.

"Okay then. Let's get you to bed before you pass out." I lamely joke but it gets a giggle out of her.

I led her down the hall into the guest room, still hoping that she would change her mind about the sleeping arrangements. "Here you go. The sheets are fresh and if you need more pillows, they're in the closet in the hallway." I tell her and she nods. "I'll leave you to it then. Sleep well, Taylor." I say and she smiles a tired smile.

"Goodnight, Dimitri." She says and I walk out, closing the door behind me. My feet feel heavy as I walk back to my room alone.

I have come to the realization that this isn't because I want to sleep with her but purely because I want to sleep next to her. I haven't *just* slept next to anyone unless we got intimate. My body craves a different level of intimacy. *I want cuddles.

A soft laugh leaves my lips as the thought crosses my mind. Sleeping alone has never been a problem for me but knowing that she is just one door away from me makes me restless.

At first I thought that I just wanted to get laid but having been around her almost all day made me realise that I want her company more. She's like a breath of fresh air.

A woman who doesn't just want to get close to me for money, sex or status. She actually gives off a sense of friendship that I don't find in many of my female *acquaintances*.

I take my shirt off and throw it on the armchair in front of my bed before flopping down face first.

*Just go to her. She's right down the hall.

The thoughts run around in my head and I let out a groan. I've never felt this way about anybody before and I don't know what to do.

I grab a pillow and put it under my leg before laying back down and forcing the sleep to come. Just as I'm about to fall asleep, a soft knock sounds at my door. My head shoots and my heart immediately sounds pounding with excitement.

*Jeez, calm down, boy child.*

I quickly move to the door, almost tripping over my own feet like a desperate schoolboy. I compose myself before slowly opening the door. "What's up?" I dumbly ask. She looks up at me with doe eyes and I almost melt. *Get a grip, Dimitri.*

"I can't sleep." She says and I smile before opening the door wider. She walks in and I close the door behind her. "Which side do you usually sleep on?" She asks. "Right side." I tell her and she nods.

"Perfect." She says before hopping on the bed and getting under the covers. She pulls the blanket up to the chin and I get in next to her. There is silence for a couple of seconds before she speaks.

"You wanna cuddle?" She asks shyly and an uncontrollable grin spreads on my face. "Thought you'd never ask." I say and she giggles.

I softly pull her into my arms and before I know it, I'm off into dreamland.
