Chapter 113: Will You Marry Us?
Sophie
It was two thin gold bands that were braided together with three large diamonds sitting on top of them and it sparkled against the light of the candles that were dancing around us. My shoulders caved and all of the air left my lungs at once at the sight.
"We love you so fucking much, Sophie." Braton said as he rested his head against mine, looking down at the ring along with me.
"Will You Marry Us?" Lucien asked in a voice barely over a whisper.
I placed my other hand against my chest, rubbing at the center to try to keep my heart from exploding. A thousand things flooded my mind all at once as if my mind tried to play out what my life would be like as Braton and Lucien's wife. I wanted to scream and squeal and jump and cry all at once. I wanted to cover them in kisses for the rest of their lives and tell them every single thing I loved about them in this moment but I settled for one little more instead.
"Yes," I mumbled.
I was nervous but I had no idea why, it was going to be the happiest day of my life but my stomach swarmed with nervous flutters and my heart rate was skyrocketing all day long. Maybe it was due to all the secrecy, Braton and Lucien had given me very minimal information about our wedding day which I was grateful for despite my fried nerves.
It took every ounce of stress off me and I could just enjoy the day for what it was instead of getting lost in the details and planning. They had scheduled and arranged everything and when I say they, I mean Lucien, probably with some input from Braton.
They started off my day with the spa, giving me a four hour treatment from head to toe which was beyond heavenly. It was obvious that they wanted me relaxed and stress free and I really appreciate that. The only big decision I had to make was my dress, a few days prior and it was surprisingly the easiest decision I had ever made. I tried on dozens of dresses with Hannah's help but nothing felt right, it was only when I passed the dress in a shop window that I fell in love and knew it was the one instantly.
Once I had it on, I felt my heart stutter beneath my ribs and my expression lit up as if it had been made just for me. I knew instantly that Braton and Lucien would lose their minds over it and I couldn't wait for them to see me in it or for them to take it off me.
Braton and Lucien left the house before I woke up this morning and had scheduled food to be delivered along with my hair and make-up artist to come to the house to pamper me. I had begged Hannah, Timon and Jones to give me even the tiniest details about the wedding ceremony but their lips were sealed. Hannah was enjoying it but Timon, Dani and Jones looked like they knew there would be consequences if they spilled the beans.
I am sure Braton threatened them within an inch of their lives if they ruined the special day. Once my hair and makeup were done, Hannah helped me slip into my dress, eyeing the lacy white lingerie that I had picked out specially for Lucien.
