I stood absolutely still as he ran his nose up and down my neck. There was not much I could really do.
“you think I have not tried to end your life before? You think I did not try to get rid of these stupid memories? It’s pointless, and I don’t think i am ready to get rid of you just yet” he growled, tightening his hands around my neck.
“My lord, wh...what are you doing?” I felt my heart racing a mile per minute. Ass he did what he did.
I needed to clear my head but at the same time, I did not think i could bring myself to pull away from him.
He smelled like ashes and rain. A combination I did not believe could smell this good.
“I don’t know either, I just... this just feels like the right thing to do. Do you think this weird?” he said using his teeth to nibble on the flesh at my shoulder blades. “Since I got a proper look of you, i could not help but want to taste of this place.” He said, running his tongue in circles at the place he just bit.
“Ngh!” I bit back the sounds that tried to escape my lips.
“You drive me insane just by looking at you, and other times, I don’t even know how to feel. It really is maddening.” He whispered, his hot breath fanning the place where he just kissed.
“my lord, this is ... this does not make sense..” the more I thought of how we got into this situation, the clueless I got. The alarm went off in my head how I needed to run away from this very situation and fast, but my legs stayed glued to the spot.
“I quite despise when you call me ‘my lord’ don’t you just love the way my name rolls off your tongue? Hmm?”
“Won’t you call my name?” he demanded in the softest voice ever, I could barely make out what he was saying as I was trapped in how smooth and soft his voice was. “Come on now” he whispered from behind me, pulling my hair from the side gently to the other side to grant access to the other side of my neck.
I bit my lips to prevent myself from calling his name. I could crawl in a hole and die before I moaned out his name like some horny bastard
“I have some business to attend to, make sure Natalie leads you back to your resting place early and do not stay in the gardens for too long.” He said, pulling away from me with aa straight face like he had not just done.. things to me , like he had not just made my body touch at each spot he touched.
I watched him go as I stood in his chambers. I wanted to pull him back. Wanted to call his name if that would make him to stay a bit more.
I shook my head.
Stupid.
Those were all stupid thoughts. There was no way he would stay even if I did all that. He was just playing with my feelings. It was not like he really did care for me in that way. It was just these stupid memories putting things in his head, our heads in fact.
“you seem so far in your head, should I come back” I snapped my head to look at where the voice came from.
“hello again, Val” the woman sitting on the chair said.
When had she come in?
Who was she?
She looked beautiful, too beautiful to be real. Her red hair framed all the right parts of her face and then her body, even while she sat... you could tell was every man’s dream.
I adjusted my clothing to hide more of my features. Standing beside her felt like a punishable offence.
“h..hell..hello” I cursed myself for stammering.
“I noticed Mene's movements and I see you’ve decided to still be stupid” she said, eying me from top to toe.
“excuse me... I don’t understand.” I looked shocked for a moment. She had a pretty face, but I could instantly tell that she had a nasty attitude.
“surely you have your memories now? You should know that the longer Hades stays with you, the more he looses his immortality.” She said like she was explaining to a dumb person.
“..” I was shook for a while. My mind taking a while to process what she had said.
“I see you have not gotten that part of your memory yet. I have speeded things up for you. Now, leave my brother alone. This was a warning, I would not be as gentle the next time I come.” She moved to get up.
“with all due respect ma” I said stopping her in her tracks tracks. “Why don’t you tell Him this? J am nothing but his provisioned here”
“Surely you are not that stupid. If i could talk to him, i would not be as patient to talk to you. Get away from my brother or the next time I have to come here, things would not be as pretty.” She made her way out of the place.
“and what if i can’t leave him?” It was a selfish thing to ask but I could care .
I could feel her presence before I saw her. The air around me grew warm.
“Humans. You would rather let him die than let him be?”
My chest tightened at her words. "You don't understand. Hades Would not let me go, even though i want to and I would not just leave. Not until he tells me to”
“you really know how to piss me off”
I looked her straight in the eyes "I am not leaving Hades, If you truly want us to be separated, then tell him to let me go. Tell him to leave me."
She took in a deep breath. “Fine, I would not be averse to taking matters into my own hands” her words sent a chill down my spine, something told me that it was indeed a threat.
