Chapter 140 Infiltrating The Compound

Chapter 140 Infiltrating The Compound
Cody

We have been on the ship for just over 2 days now. We are very close to shore, so all of us are gathered in the control room to keep an eye on things. It was so hard to leave Alex, and I knew she was worried, and anxious, but she gave us smiles, and huge hugs.

After that weekend of us being all together, things had been so much better for her, and we are all so glad we could do that for her and with her. Then finding out we are having twins was a huge thing, but Satine has things for them to do in order to keep each other busy. She worries about Valenciaga as well.

We had all decided that when we get home we’ll make a decision about which spare room to use for the nursery, make concrete decisions about where we are going to live, and start preparing for 2 babies to grow our family.

She wants to tell Hope when we get home, as she said Hope has noticed that her belly is moving, and she looks at it funny. She probably doesn’t remember feeling Valen move before he was born, but maybe it will click when we tell her mommy has 2 babies in her belly this time.

All of us are trying to psych ourselves up for what is about to take place. First of all, flying into the compound and basically unleashing hell on them, and turning the whole thing into a war zone. That I am rather looking forward to, I have to confess. When we get past the front doors is where I think we’ll find the nightmare fuel. We’re all praying and hoping we can get a good number of the women out alive.

The choppers are checked over again to make sure guns are working, plenty of ammo is ready to go, they are fueled up, and all systems have a green light. Valenciaga was able to make contact with one of the Alphas in the region, and the discussion of paying for the use of their shipping lanes was initiated. So, now, Valenciaga is supposed to be sailing in for a meeting with the Alpha, Becker, and his people. So, to start the ship showing up in the port won’t send up any red flags. We want them to be relaxed, not expecting an attack.

We have even told them we would fly his personal helicopter from the ship to the compound for the meeting. So, they won’t be expecting 3 and not expecting attack choppers. So, we should be able to get in and light shit up before anyone suspects really that there’s anything wrong.

Once the ship is maneuvered into place at the port, we all load up. No time to let information get relayed about how big the ship is, how many men, and 3 attack helicopters. It’s now, while they are still surprised, and we strike fast and hard. I watch my team all mount up in the helicopter and signal they are good to go, then we take off. I am watching out the door for us to reach the target.

“Two minutes out.” Gets shouted to me from the pilot, and I give him a thumbs up. I use the mic in my helmet to relay to the guys the ETA. I turn to switch the gun to ready mode and make sure the bullets are loaded and ready to go. Rabid has another ribbon of bullets ready to feed into the gun when I run out. On the other door, Tiny and Ratchet are doing the same. Saint has his RPG ready to take out targets as he finds them on the higher elevations of the buildings, while we keep it to sweeps of the people below. The minute I squeeze the trigger the gun comes to life, the noise is deafening and I’m grateful for my protective gear for my ears, the report of the gun jerks my arms back and forth, but I keep the trigger down and sweep the gun from left to right, taking out as many targets as possible. I know the guys on the other side are doing the same.

Eventually, we stop firing, and I listen, and hear Valenciaga tell us to land. So all 3 helicopters land, and all of us grab our RPGs and SimiAutomatics, and look for targets not down, or that we need to make their injuries a more permanent situation. The idea of taking them out doesn’t phase me. They earned this retribution many times over.

Eventually, we breach the compound. Here we encounter men with guns, mostly 9mm, so we have to be careful and take out the targets one by one, watching each other’s backs. We sweep the first level and manage to take out 5 more. Then the top level up here is another 4, so with that, we have no active shooters trying to take us out. So, we start to move further down into the compound.

We passed back through the ground level, the level where we entered the huge building that is the heart of the compound. When we got drone pictures of this building we noticed that it had 2 levels that were above ground. The ground level, and one level above, then there were three downward levels. Those are the levels we figure we’re going to find the horrors that have been living and breathing in this fucking hellhole for way too long.

We keep guns at the ready, because no way anyone down here wouldn’t have heard all the gunfire. So, more than likely we will have more active shooters. Our worry is that their desperation will put women down here in harm's way, so we have to be on the lookout for shit like that.

The first sublevel we get to looks rather like a nightclub or some shit There are still lights moving, drinks left with ice still in them, and cigarettes burning in ashtrays. So those down here either went topside to try and escape or fight or they went to the other sublevels to hide. We don’t see anyone here as we move around checking out the facility. It’s like a huge nightclub, except that other rooms around the periphery show more signs of a sex club, and probably not a consensual one at that.

We descend the stairs to the next sublevel, and when we reach the bottom of the steps, we hear crying, and a man steps out with a gun to a woman’s head. We just acquired a target.
