Chapter 13: The Troublesome devil

"Wow...wow...your boyfriend is really nice, isn't he?" Leviathan chirped shortly after Ryan went to buy cat food.

"Ryan is very nice and he is also very cool. But unfortunately he is not my boyfriend."

"Yes, I thought he wasn't your boyfriend. You're just ordinary girl, only your breast is attractive!"

"I'm sorry if my face is not pretty enough!" She said annoyed.

"Hahaha...no, actually you're pretty enough for human standards, you're not bad!"

Hearing Leviathan praise her, Edelweiss felt embarrassed, but on the one hand, she also felt happy.

"Your praise will not make me forgive you!"

"Who else wants forgiveness from you? I don't need that at all, what I want is for you to immediately jump into the sea and die so I can take your soul to hell!"

"I will do it!"

"Really? That's good then, I-"

"But not now!"

"Why not? The sooner the better!"

"Just not now and when the time is, you don't need to know!"

"Could it be that you're afraid of dying, huh?"

"Who isn't afraid of death? Everyone is afraid of death. Forgotten by everyone as if they never existed in this world, I-" her sentence stopped. She couldn't say it because every time the memory came up, she felt scared until she wanted to vomit.

"Ugh-"

Edelweiss ran to the bathroom and vomited in the sink with her body shaking. Her tears flowed without her realizing it. The image of the face she hated so much appeared in her head.

Leviathan stood in front of the bathroom door, looking at Edelweiss who was struggling alone against trauma. This young woman was sobbing even though a few moments ago she still looked fine.

Leviathan decided not to do anything and just let this girl be. However, when Edelweiss fainted, she began to feel uncomfortable with this situation.

"So that's why, huh? Tch, you troublesome woman!" He said as he carried Edelweiss's body to the bed and laid her on the bed. But before he left, Edelweiss held his hand.

"Please, help me! Have mercy on me, sir! I beg you, have mercy on me!"

"Good afternoon, Edelweiss?"

Greet a tall and sturdy man who only wears a white singlet and jeans. The man smiled kindly at a 13 year old girl who was licking vanilla ice cream in her hand.

"What's wrong, Mr. Henry? Would you like your room cleaned?"

"I went to the reception room earlier, but I didn't see your father and mother."

"Mom and dad are going into town to shop for cooking ingredients, so I was asked to stand guard until they come home."

"Where are your grandparents?"

"Grandpa went to Mr. Sebastian's house and grandma took a nap."

"So, there's no one here but you?" Asked the man with a smile. This girl shook her head slowly, all her family members left including Max, her brother."

"Edelweiss, do you like chocolate?"

"Chocolate?"

"I brought a lot of chocolate when I went on holiday to Switzerland, if you want I'll give it to you."

"Really? Of course I would! You are so kind, Mr. Henry!" She said while smiling happily.

"Then, let's go to my bedroom. I keep the chocolates in my room!"

"Then I'll just wait here," she said, hesitant about coming along.

"Don't be like that, I have a lot of chocolate in my bag, I can't carry it all. You can look and choose which chocolate you want to eat. You are free to choose all you want."

"B-but, I-" She started to feel afraid. She didn't know what she should do or how to refuse.

"You don't need to be afraid, I'm not a bad person. Besides, I have a nephew who is your age. I also often give her chocolate every time I visit her house."

"R-really?"

"Yes, she is very cute like you. Her hair is dark brown and her eyes are brown, just like you."

"I-is that so? Alright, Mr. Henry!"

This little girl walked towards the man's room which was located at the end of the inn's hall, the most calm and quiet place here.

The man opened the door to his room, while the little girl stood in front of the door and chose to wait outside.

"When is your birthday, Edelweiss?"

"On July 15th, I will be 13 years old."

"Is that so? I really like a very cute young girl like you."

The man smiled broadly before finally covering the little girl's mouth with his hand and pulling her into the room.

This little girl struggled after realizing that she was being trapped on purpose. This man took a sock that was lying on the floor and put the sock into this little girl's mouth.

He took his clothes and tied the girl's hands using the clothes. This little girl tried to scream, but her voice couldn't come out. She cried, hoping someone would find her here and help her.

"Help me! Help me...!"
