Chapter 145
Lucky
The past two weeks has been amazing. Nico has only left for New York twice. Dario and Tony have been to stay and it was kind of fun to have a full house. We did much entertaining for some of his business partners – the legit ones of course. He won’t involve me in his underground work, not that I am averse to that. I’m not the kind of woman who minds getting her hands dirty.
The house has been blissful and now my minds are full of the wedding which is fast approaching. It will be held here in the grounds of the property with a gazebo in front of his private lake. The crew are busy constructing it and I have requested beautiful, pale roses to adorn it and trail down to match the roses that will be strung between the white, wooden seats. Thankfully, Atlanta will have sunshine.
I’m excited for Nico to see my dress. Not even my mother knows which I have settled for since I changed my mind recently. The ladies at the gown shop have been busy making fine alterations and keeping up with my requests for certain changes. They are a joy to work with and can see my vision clearly. Am I excited, hell yes! Absolutely.
Then there is the Arizona hotel and casino project. It will keep me extremely busy. I have to fly to New York after the honeymoon with Nico to learn the business side of things, meet and greet with accounting personnel, marketing people and some of the sales teams. Nico wants the hotel to be exclusive, and lavish - something of an experience and the biggest and best playground for the rich and famous. No pressure there then. I am up for it. I am Lucky Gianluca soon to be the infamous Lucky Santangelo.
“Hey, sis,” Tony says as I enter the kitchen remembering how Nico had me cornered here just last night with my legs up around his waist and his cock sliding in and out of my wetness. The man is incorrigible. I swear to God he has a kink for fucking when anyone can easily walk in and catch us.
Okay, I hold my hands up to that. It’s kind of exciting, what can I say? There is definitely something about sex knowing that anyone can find you both at it. Does that make us weird and perverse? Who the hell cares. Not me.
Like I said. I am going to be Lucky Santangelo.
Queen of the Mafia Scene and nobody is going to stop me. They will be eating the dust off my shoes; they will bow their heads to me and treat me with dignity and respect. I will work as hard as any man; my balls will be bigger and fiercer than any man’s.
Why? Because I have to prove a point. Nico has already told me many within his organization are frowning upon me because I am a woman. They don’t think someone in her twenties can take the world by storm and support him as well as handle a massive venture like the one he is handing me in Arizona.
The tongues are wagging like nineteen-fifties housewives, gossiping that a young girl can’t run a business. They want someone like Tony to handle Arizona. Dario is getting some shit too but not as much as me. Yeah, you know why, right? Because balls swing between his legs and I have a cunt.
I’ll show every last motherfucking one of them exactly what a Boss Lady can do! Mark my words, when I am finished with Arizona there will be no stopping me. It is my intention to grow Nico’s legit business beyond all comprehension.
The likes of the snake-in-the-grass, Petrov will be a spec of dust, nothing in comparison. That asshole is still stealing from Nico and trying to claim his turf in New York.
My daddy is now involved even though I have begged him to take a step back. His heart isn’t that great anymore but will he listen? Nope. He’s stubborn as an old mule my father. Not even my mother can make him see sense.
“Hey, Tony,” I reply as I reach for a mug and pour myself a nice black coffee. Between the kitchen and our bedroom, Nico brought me to orgasm at least four times. My insides ache from his huge cock banging away during the night and early hours of this morning. Tiredness never seems to leave me at the moment, not that I’m complaining.
I’ve never felt this happy or elated. Safe, comforted and loved. And he does love me with a passion. It’s almost a dark obsession but who am I to complain. Women everywhere hate me because I have the man on his knees, the man they all want and can no longer have. Nico Santangelo is off the market ladies forever!
“I heard you’re flying to New York after the honeymoon,” he says as he reaches for the coffee pot too.
“That is correct, although I have no idea where the honey moon is. He’s being very James Bond about the whole thing.”
Tony chuckles and takes a sip of his black coffee. “It’s a secret, if we told you we’d have to kill you, sister.”
I love how he refers to me already as his sister. Dario, well let us just say that one is moving a lot slower. He’s at least talking to me which is something that I am grateful for. The kid has issues, I get that. But I am going to be his sister, we will be equals in Arizona.
“So, New York. You’ll be under my wing for a week or two whilst we get you up to speed with the business. I was thinking whilst Nico flies around to his various businesses, you could stay at the penthouse where we will have full security. Or do you prefer to stay with your folks?”
I drink some coffee, enjoying the taste and the warmth as it slides down my throat. “I think the penthouse will be best. I’ll be closer to the office so easier for me. Staying with my parents, as much as I love them will be kind of suffocating.”
“Good, I’ll have everything organized for after the honeymoon. If you want or need anything, just ask. We’re all excited, Lucky to have you on-board.”
I can see he is being genuine; his brown eyes are warm and gentle.
“Thank you, Tony. It means a lot to me. You have no idea.” We clink our coffee mugs as Nico enters the kitchen and wraps an arm possessively around my waist, planting a kiss on my cheek.
“How’s my favorite person this morning?” he asks with a little smug smirk on his face.
“She’s just fine. Off out to the gym soon then I’ll be ready for the final gown fitting. Alexandria the event planner will be coming in after eleven to run through the last details.”
“Okay, sweetheart. I have to head out to Buckhead for a meeting with a press advisor,” he says groaning. He hates press and getting his face out there. Unfortunately, it’s the nature of the business for his legitimate side of things.
He kisses me again on the cheek, pats my ass and takes a coffee that Tony has poured from him. Dario enters the kitchen from the sliding doors at the back, all hot and sweaty from his early run.
“Got one of those for me, Bro?” he asks Tony who gives him a nod. He averts his eyes not to look at me.
Oh, no you don’t. “Good morning, Dario. Good run?” I ask forcing conversation with him. Hell, if we have to work together, we better start getting along now.
“Morning,” he mumbles reaching for the mug of coffee.
Nico’s phone rings, I watch as he holds it to his ear. “Aurora, what’s news?” The room falls deathly silence. We’ve all been waiting for weeks for Yelena to be in a position to be forcibly interrogated.
Maybe it will be today.
