Chapter 25 Dominic
Will’s P.O.V.
The next day, I’m heading to the classroom, headphones in, thoughts of Iva running through my mind.
She spent the night at my place for the first time yesterday, and it still feels unreal.
I woke up to the smell of breakfast. She was already in the kitchen, wearing my oversized shirt, humming as she cooked. She even arranged the living room—folded the scattered jackets, set the pillows, and straightened the books on my shelf.
My dad hired a maid and a chef for me when I moved in here, but I gave them the day off. I wanted privacy with her. That’s why the whole place was a mess yesterday.
She didn’t complain once, even though I know how much she loves everything clean and in order.
Just the one day with her in my house felt good.
So damn good. It was perfect, and I want my everyday to be like that.
As I walk, someone catches my eye.
A tall guy in a black hoodie is standing near the garden bench, surveying the campus like it’s all new to him. And it probably is.
He looks oddly familiar. It takes me a second.
Wait.
The club.
He was the one who talked about the lack of proper rooms. The guy with the girl in his lap.
Dominic.
He looks younger in daylight. But it’s definitely him.
I stop, hesitate for a second, then decide to speak. “Hey.” I nod at him, pulling out one earbud.
He turns, looking at me, confused. “Hey.”
“You’re new here?”
“Yeah. Joined this week. Dominic.” He extends his hand.
“Will.” I shake it.
“You must be thinking who I am.”
He nods. “Yeah! Do I know you?”
I shake my head. “No. But I saw you at the club a few days ago. You were complaining about its setup.” I tell him.
“Red Room Club?” As he raises his brows at me, I nod. He continues, “and I wasn’t complaining, I was being honest. The place has potential, but no real structure. I’ve seen clubs that take things way deeper.”
I nod. “You said you missed your old city’s scene.”
“Exactly. There were proper punishment rooms. Soundproof ones. Rules, training sessions, and even observation chambers. That place ran like a lifestyle academy.”
“That actually sounds…” I pause, then admit, “...kind of brilliant.”
He smirks. “You’re a Dom, right?”
I glance at him. “That obvious?”
“You’ve got that calm, deadly energy.”
I grin a little at that, then shake my head. “You’re pretty good at reading people.”
“Yeah, I’m. Thanks.” He chuckles.
“You know that night, something about what you said stuck with me.”
He raises an eyebrow. “Yeah?”
“I’ve been thinking about building something like that. A better space. With purpose. Privacy. Control.”
Dominic looks intrigued now. “You serious?”
“Yeah.”
“Huh.” He studies me again, then nods. “You and I might get along, Will.”
Just then, the bell rings.
“You got class now?” I ask.
“Yeah. Professor Milton’s, I think.”
I raise my eyebrows. “You’re in my class.”
Dominic grins. “Small world.”
We start walking toward the building together, smiling. I really think it’s the beginning of something new.
“Let’s make you meet my friends. Come on.” I gesture as I walk into the classroom.
Dominic follows close behind, his gaze curious as he scans the room. I spot my friends in the back row.
“Guys, I want you to meet someone,” I say, approaching them.
They all stop talking and look up.
“This is Dominic. I saw him at the club last weekend and again today. He has just joined college.”
Jack leans back in his chair, eyes narrowing with curiosity. Isabel arches an eyebrow, assessing Dominic the way she always does with new people. Sebastian gives a polite nod, but his fingers don’t stop moving over his laptop keys.
“Dominic, that’s Isabel,” I start. “She’s like us… a female Dom. Deadly when she wants to be.”
Dominic smirks slightly and offers his hand. “Good to meet you.”
Isabel shakes it, her lips twitching in amusement. “You too. Any friend of Will’s is worth keeping an eye on.”
I walk over to Sebastian. “This is Sebastian. Always buried in his books or his dad’s business projects. A complete workaholic. He probably won’t even hear you unless you speak in equations or contracts.”
Sebastian looks up just long enough to give a small smile. “Hi.”
I look toward Jack, who’s already grinning. “And this idiot here is Jack. He lives to tease us and has zero filter.”
“Guilty.” Jack shrugs. “Welcome, man. Hope you’re not as serious as these two.”
Dominic laughs. “Don’t worry, I know how to have fun.”
“That’s what I like to hear,” Jack says, pointing at him like they’re already best friends.
I can already feel that Dominic’s going to fit in well.
Just then, the door opens and Professor Milton walks in, carrying a stack of papers and a serious expression.
“Take your seats,” he says without looking up.
We all scramble into place. Dominic finds a seat near me, giving me a quick nod before focusing ahead.
As the professor begins the lecture, I lean back in my chair and my thoughts again wander back to Iva.
I wish it were her lecture. Damn! How will I wait two lectures to see her again?
The moment the lecture ends, the class begins to empty.
I stretch my arms, ready to head out, when Dominic checks his phone with a small smile.
“She’s here.” He stands up.
“She?” I ask.
Before he can answer, the door opens and a girl walks in.
I’ve seen her somewhere. But where?
Oh, she is the same girl I saw in the club, talking to Dominic.
His face lights up as she approaches him. “There she is. This is Aria, my girlfriend.”
“Hi!” She waves as Dominic takes her in a side hug and kisses her temple.
Seeing them, I start missing Iva more. I wish I could also openly kiss her without any fear.
Dominic continues, smiling proudly. “I met her on a trip to New York, completely random. She was lost in a bookstore, and I was in the wrong section. And luckily we exchanged our Instagram accounts.”
Aria grins. “We started texting after that, and somehow, a random travel coincidence turned into a long-distance relationship.”
Dominic takes her hand gently and presses a kiss to it. “And now, fate brought me here. For good.”
I notice Jack staring openly at Aria like he just discovered the eighth wonder of the world.
I shoot him a look. “Jack, don’t even think that. She isn’t single.”
He doesn’t look away. “Oh, come on. You know me. I’d never come between a couple…” He drags the words with a sly grin. “But I might flirt with fate a little.”
I elbow him hard, and he winces, finally tearing his gaze away.
Dominic doesn’t notice. He’s too busy talking to Aria in low tones, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, and I see how soft he becomes around her.
Yeah.
Dominic might be dominant, but with her?
He’s just a man in love.
And I understand that now more than ever.
