Chapter 126: You Are My World

When Cindy picked up the call, Chris said, "I am so sorry Cindy, I didn't know that Jack was innocent. Please, I know Lily was wrong and I'm sure she has learned her lesson. Withdraw the case against her and let's settle this amicably. I know that Jack will listen to you.

Going back to court over this same issue will only cause more harm to my reputation and career, please."

"It's okay, Chris," Cindy replied. "If you want Jack to withdraw the case, he will do so but there's a condition.

Lily should make a video of herself apologizing to Jack for framing him up and she has to sound sincere. She should post it on Instagram and tag him. When Jack has seen the video, he will withdraw the case."

"Okay, she will do that," Chris replied. "Thank you, Cindy."

The moment Chris ended the call, Lily said "No, how can you agree to such a thing? I will not humiliate myself publicly."

"You have no choice," Chris replied angrily. "There's already a sex video of you and everyone knows you deliberately did it. I warned you but you were too adamant to listen. Make that video before the end of today and post it, at least you will salvage what's left of your reputation.

If you refuse to do it, I will completely wash my hands off of you. I have already fired you as my manager because your actions have negatively affected my reputation. If you do not listen to me this time, I will cut you off completely.

As a matter of fact, I'm going to watch you make the video."

Lily stared at her brother as tears kept falling from her eyes. After a while, she washed her face and applied a little makeup before setting up her camera to make the video.

After Cindy got off the phone with Chris, Jack said, "That was amazing Cindy. Much better than letting her pay a fine."

"I know right," Cindy replied before Jack lifted her off her feet and ran into the bedroom.

"Hi everyone, I am making this video to apologize to Mr. Jack Grant, the CEO of Star Entertainment for framing him. He never assaulted me and is not the man in the video. I am sorry Jack for any inconvenience my actions may have caused you."

Lily posted the video after Chris gave his approval. That was the seventh video she had made as Chris kept rejecting and insisting that she add specific words to it.

After posting the video, she covered her face and cried even more but Chris went to her side and hugged her, "I know you are feeling hurt but give it time and everything will be fine. What we did was wrong and since it has come to this, it's best to let everything die down slowly. Soon no one will even remember it again."

Just as Chris finished speaking, Lily's phone rang. She hesitated to pick up the call because it was a strange number but after it rang for a while, she picked it up.

"Hi Lily, my name is Maya," the caller said.

"I used to be Jack's friend until Cindy ruined it all."

Lily knew well who Maya was so she wiped her eyes and said, "Okay Maya, what can I do for you?"

Maya replied, "I'm sure you must have seen how Cindy destroyed my reputation a while back and now she has done the same to you. It's safe to say that we have a common enemy and I think we can work together to bring Cindy down."

Lily was very much interested in Maya's idea however, Chris who was sitting beside her overheard her conversation with Maya and snatched the phone from her hand, "Stay the hell away from my sister, bitch! Otherwise I will report you to Jack and Cindy."

Maya immediately ended the call when she heard what Chris said. She knew that Jack still had the humiliating video of when she got naked and tried to have sex with him without success.

If Chris told Jack about her, he would not hesitate to post the video. Perhaps it wasn't safe for her to go after Cindy now. She would wait until after a few years before doing so, however, she was not going to spare Spencer.

They all acted like she was a slut on the day Jack exposed her before his family. Now she was going to show them that their beloved wife and daughter-in-law to be, Ashley was the real slut.

Chris stared at Lily angrily and chastised her, "What is wrong with you? The best thing to do is hang up on such people. Look at what happened because you plotted against Jack and Cindy.

Jack is from a wealthy family and Cindy is smart, you should have learnt your lesson by now, but you want to work with that Maya who has been thoroughly disgraced by Jack. What if she turns around and stabs you in the back? Have you thought about that?"

Lily denied, "I wasn't going to work with her, I just wanted to hear what she had to say."

Chris massaged his forehead, "You know what, I think it's best if you leave the country for a few years until everyone has stopped talking about what happened. Don't worry Lily, just do as I say and I will take good care of you."

Lily nodded her head, "I will do just as you have said, Chris."

Cindy checked her time, she had less than five minutes to make it to the airport. Ever since little Tim informed her a week ago that he was coming back today, she had been extremely happy.

After so long, she was going to watch him do all the things he wanted to do before but couldn't because of his health. This was all thanks to Jack but she was still upset with him.

She had wanted him to escort her to the airport but he had claimed to be too busy. How could he be too busy on a day that was so important to her?

She pleaded with the cab driver to hurry up a little because she didn't want Tim to wait for too long. When she arrived at the airport, she quickly paid the cab driver and hurried into the airport but there was no sign of Tim.

After searching for a while, she decided to call him but he wasn't answering his phone. She became very worried and was thinking about what to do when her phone rang. She looked at her screen and noticed that it was from Jack.

She quickly answered the call and was about to tell Jack that she could not find Tim but he said, "I am so sorry my love, I picked Tim up like you wanted but I forgot to tell you about it. He kept insisting that he wanted to go to the park so I had to take him. I'm really sorry baby."

Cindy heaved a sigh of relief but felt angry at Jack. How could he scare her so much? She decided that she was going to give him a piece of her mind when she met him. She quickly stopped a taxi and instructed the driver to take her to the park.

When she entered the park, she took out her phone to call Jack but saw Tim standing by a corner and watching the Ferris wheel. She happily ran to him and screamed, "Little Tim."

When Tim turned and saw her, he happily ran into her arms and they hugged each other for a long time.

Tim complained, "I am already grown up so can you stop adding 'little' to my name?"

Cindy laughed, "I'm sorry, I will do just that, but you gave me quite a scare, Tim. Don't do that next time."

"I am sorry," Tim apologized and hugged her once again. "You look beautiful Cindy," he complimented.

"Thanks," Cindy replied and pinched his cheeks. "You don't look too bad yourself but where is Jack?"

"Why don't you look behind you," Tim replied while smiling mischievously.

Cindy immediately turned and covered her mouth in surprise when she saw Jack on one knee. She suddenly recalled that she had once told him that they could only think about marriage when Tim came back.

"He must have been counting the days," She thought to herself.

Jack held the diamond-studded ring with both of his hands and said, "I never thought that a time would come in my life when I would love someone as much as I love you. You are the best gift life has ever given me.

You are the very breath I take. I want to grow old with you and I want to share every moment of my life with you. You are my world. My sweet Cindy, will you do me the honor of being my wife?"

Tears of Joy fell uncontrollably from Cindy's eyes as she said, "Yes, Jack I will marry you, I want nothing more than to be your wife."

Jack put the ring on Cindy's finger before getting up from the ground. They hugged each other passionately for a long time. "I love you," Jack whispered into Cindy's ear.

"I love you too," Cindy whispered back.

Jack lifted Cindy's face so her eyes could meet his, he wiped the tears off her eyes and kissed her.

Cindy returned his kiss and they both forgot that they were not alone and continued kissing until the sound of people clapping brought them back to Earth.

Cindy suddenly felt shy when she saw that they were almost surrounded by Jack's family members. Spencer was the first person she hugged and he said, "Congratulations, Cindy, you have no idea how happy I am."

Spencer's fiancee, Ashley also congratulated Cindy and opened her arms to hug her. Cindy was surprised but hugged her nonetheless.

During this time, Spencer's phone beeped and he realized that someone had sent him a video. He was surprised since he rarely received messages like that. He went to the side, opened the video, and to his surprise, he saw his fiancee Ashley dressed seductively and passionately kissing a guy in front of a room until he dragged her inside and shut the door.

The message below the video read, "If you want to find out what your refined fiancee Ashley does on her weekends, come to 'The Fantasy Club'.

Spencer briefly stared at Ashley who was happily celebrating with Jack and Cindy. He turned off his phone and put it away. He decided to pretend for now that nothing has happened because he didn't want to ruin Jack and Cindy's moment.

Grant hugged Cindy and welcomed her into the family once again. Even Elvis and his wife hugged and welcomed her as well. Cindy felt so overwhelmed with joy. She stared at Tim who was watching her in silence with a smile on his face and ran towards him.

After hugging him again, she pinched his cheeks and asked, "For how long have you guys been planning this behind my back?"

"Since after you left New York City," he replied happily. "Congratulations Cindy, my best girl in the world, may you always be this happy."

"Thanks," Cindy replied before staring at the ring on her finger.

She had never been happier in her life and this was all thanks to Jack. She looked up and saw him smiling at her

Everyone was looking at her and she wondered why until Grant said, "We need to take a family picture, Cindy. It won't be complete without you and Tim"
