Chapter 92
Samuel was a bit shocked.
He looked at Ella, "Aurora and Dorian are his children?"
Ella actually felt guilty.
She was afraid the children might be Samuel's, and also worried he might suddenly confess about that night four years ago.
When he stared at her asking questions, she was extremely nervous.
"What, you don't believe it? Want to do a DNA test on me and the kids?"
Afraid that others would think Aurora and Dorian were fatherless bastards, afraid they would say Ella was promiscuous.
Zachary acknowledged the two children without hesitation.
After all, Ella would divorce Joshua anyway.
Once they divorced, he would take the three of them back to Eldoria.
Coming back to his senses, Samuel shook his head, still finding it unbelievable.
"I just think it's too surreal. I never expected you to be the children's father."
He felt a bit sorry for Joshua and looked at Ella, asking, "Have you divorced Joshua? If you haven't divorced yet and you're already with the children's father, isn't that pretty low?"
This Ella was really something.
A while ago, Michael showed up claiming to be the children's father, and now here was someone he knew, also claiming to be the children's father.
So which one of them actually was?
Samuel felt even more disgusted with Ella.
He had originally come to treat a patient, but even though that patient was Aurora, he didn't want to treat her anymore.
He didn't want to help this kind of unfaithful woman who betrayed Joshua.
Ella met Samuel's gaze.
Seeing he didn't show any unusual reaction, that night four years ago probably wasn't him.
And he didn't seem to know about the children's situation either.
So he wasn't the children's father.
Ella breathed a sigh of relief. Remembering tomorrow was Monday, she said, "We'll go get divorced tomorrow."
"Then wait until after you're divorced."
Samuel turned to leave.
Zachary raised his hand to stop him, very confused, "What do you mean? I asked you to come see the child, why are you leaving?"
Samuel didn't want to disrespect Zachary.
But compared to Zachary, Joshua was naturally more important.
He told Zachary, "Do you know who this woman is? She's my best friend's wife. She secretly had children with you, then married my friend."
"This kind of woman doesn't deserve my help."
Samuel saw Dorian standing nearby, the child he had always wanted to take as his apprentice. Although he felt it was a pity to lose such a gifted child, some things couldn't violate his principles.
He could only bear the pain of giving up.
"How dare you talk like that, what do you know..."
Zachary was angry and wanted to defend Ella, but Ella shook her head, signaling him to let Samuel go.
She didn't want to beg this person.
Zachary had to give up, "Get lost then, as if Aurora can't survive without you."
Samuel left and called Joshua, telling him about Zachary and Ella.
Joshua, who had originally planned to come to the hospital to visit Aurora, dismissed the idea of coming to the hospital when he thought about someone being there with Ella.
Fortunately, that night, Aurora didn't wake up again and didn't cry.
But the next morning when she woke up, she was calling for daddy again.
Ella couldn't calm her down no matter what.
Dorian was also trying hard to comfort Aurora.
But Aurora wouldn't listen. She just wanted Joshua. No one could help, as if she was under a spell.
Ella had no choice but to call Joshua.
But he said, "Today is Monday. Come to the court and divorce me, then I'll go see your child."
Ella didn't know why Joshua was so eager to divorce now.
He wasn't like this before.
When she wanted a divorce, he dragged it out.
Now he was forcing her to divorce.
Ella was anxious and explained to him, "Aurora is crying for you right now. Can you come comfort her first, then I'll go to court with you?"
Joshua knew Aurora needed him.
It wasn't that he didn't want to go to the hospital.
But today was the deadline Scarlett gave him.
If he didn't divorce Ella, Scarlett would sue Ella again.
If Ella went to prison, who would take care of her two children?
He still insisted on his decision.
"If you don't come to divorce, I'll just wait here. After all, your daughter's life or death has nothing to do with me."
Joshua hung up.
Ella watched Aurora still crying, only wanting Joshua.
She was both angry and helpless. She could only leave Aurora with Dorian and Zachary and quickly take a taxi to the court.
When she arrived, Joshua was already waiting.
Seeing her, Joshua said nothing and turned to enter the court.
Ella followed behind him and couldn't help asking, "Are you so eager to be with Scarlett?"
Joshua didn't look back at her. His heart ached faintly, but he said the opposite, "Yes, I'm eager to marry her. Ella, after the divorce, you can be with the children and their father. You must be happy now!"
Even after the divorce, he wouldn't let her go.
She owed the Thomas family, and she had to pay it back.
"Zachary isn't the children's father either."
Ella knew she was about to cut ties with Joshua. For some reason, she couldn't help explaining to him, "Joshua, actually Aurora and Dorian are..."
"You want to tell me you have another man?"
Joshua suddenly stopped, staring at her with disgust.
"How many men you have has nothing to do with me. I'm setting you free. Stop disgusting me from now on."
Joshua really couldn't stand Ella always saying things that broke his heart.
Unable to bear it anymore, he stepped forward to the counter and ordered the staff, "Process the divorce."
The staff handed them the forms to fill out.
Joshua filled his out quickly. Seeing Ella frozen and not moving, he reminded her impatiently, "Don't you need to go to the hospital? What are you standing there for?"
Ella thought of Aurora still needing Joshua and obediently filled it out.
She thought there would be a divorce cooling-off period.
But unexpectedly, Joshua was determined and insisted the staff print out the divorce certificates right now.
The staff received instructions from above and didn't dare delay, so they dutifully handed them the divorce certificates.
The moment he got the divorce certificate, Joshua's hands were shaking.
God knows how much he didn't want to face this moment.
But Ella had gone too far, doing wrong things and refusing to repent.
If there was any other way, how could he bear to divorce her?
He tossed a divorce certificate to Ella and turned to leave.
Ella thought of something, put away the divorce certificate and quickly followed him.
"Joshua, can you go to the hospital with me now?"
Joshua, who had just walked out of the court, received a call from Scarlett. After chatting for a while, he hung up and looked at Ella, who was still waiting for him.
"Do you think your daughter is more important, or my future wife?"
"Ella, your daughter's life or death has nothing to do with me. I'm busy accompanying my fiancée now. I don't have time."
