"Calm down, Nima." Emily chuckled in amusement.
"How can I calm down. I can't imagine myself in the midst of people. You know how long it takes for me to start opening the door fully for the delivery guy to see me.
You know, I only take strolls at night time to limit the number of eyes I could lock mine with.
I don't know how this man didn't irritate me, but what if my inability to withstand people makes him think I'm weird and he chases me away?" Nima looked exasperated.
Worried edged her feature as she began to pace back and forth in front of Emily, which just stared at her with a smile edged in her face.
Immerse joy was all she could feel.
Without knowing it, Nima's stagnant life is finally having some glow. It was starting to have excitement as well as ups and downs.
She was starting to worry like any other human could.
When she put her mind to sleep, the body she hosted had so many things she worry about also and although she compelled those she worked for whenever she took her "Nima's call" absent, the lady still freaked out and even wondered why she was doing so much for a friend.
Emily never risked letting the girl be in control whenever Nima is around.
"God! I'm a mess. Gosh! Something is finally happening, and this will stand in the way???" Nima finally looked towards Emily and realized she had been rambling nonstop.
"Why are you looking at me like that? I'm making sense, right?" She asked with hopeful gaze as usual.
Hoping for her friend to give any advice to bring her out of the situation.
"I can only tell you to do one thing." Emily said.
Nima gave her a "spill it already" look.
"I can only tell you to face the man you're meeting and block others out."
Hearing her friend's advice, Nima looked thoughtful.
Yeah, that's right.
She won't be interacting with people anyway.
She just has to focus on the man she's meeting.
Maybe after dinner, the sex would happen, and there won't be a need to dwell further.
She wasn't sure if she would be able to swallow the departure of another person who doesn't repulse her, like Emily.
Not wanting to think too hard about it, she sings to herself that she could do this.
She just had to focus on the man.
Focus on the man and block out the rest of the people present.
.....
"Yes!" Joel exclaimed and pumped his fist up in the air.
It has been a long while since he had felt excited over a woman.
He had relationships in the past that were purely about sex.
He couldn't explain his situation to anyone. Hence, Joel had masked it with his overly cheerfulness with women and men in tow.
This way, people would feel he was all cool and just chose not to take a serious relationship.
His libido was as high as a high schooler, but no woman interested him. He just doesn't feel anything towards them when he sees them physically, but got hard when he fantasizes about celebrities he couldn't have.
He would be worried if he found men attractive, but that wasn't the case.
His best friend had once teased him about being a virgin at 23, prompting him to show him he was a man.
They had hit a bar, and like a magnet attracted to metal, ladies flocked towards him.
He awkwardly chose one that seemed more persistent and had sex for the first time.
He realised he could enjoy sexual intercourse like any other man. It seemed it was just the woman who didn't interest him.
Their body does.
He indulged in pleasure of the flesh like a maniac then, until his parents had caught a whiff of his womanizing attitude and talked some sense into him.
He reduced his addiction by getting a woman whom they dated for the benefit of want and desire.
A rich heiress that at that time used him to run away from her suffocating life.
5 years into their relationship, she left for oversea after crying for hours on how she would have wished to keep staying with him, but her family needed her to be prepared to take on her family business.
He had consoled her and told her to have a wonderful life.
She questioned why he talked like he wasn't affected.
His silence seemed to shatter the girl's heart, but he felt nothing.
They never once go on a proper date or talk romance. They both knew no string could be attached.
Honestly, if Joel wanted something serious, he couldn't have it.
He couldn't fall in love.
He always thought something was wrong with him, but all of a sudden, a woman he hadn't met once was making him feel so excited?
To avoid breaking another heart, he never tried to keep a woman for any reason since the heiress left.
But he wanted to have this one at all costs.
To fuck her and maybe see if his heart that felt frozen will melt.
He wanted love also. He wants to try things other men do with their women.
He want to get married to someone he love and have children.
He doesn't want to be out on a date and not even feel like the woman beside him is an opposite sex.
Men and women felt same to him, unless he was having sex.
"Oh God!" He exclaimed out loud and let out a shaky breath.
"It's not just sex, Joel. Not even sex obsessed you this much before. Your heart is beating so fast just by staring at her….." Joel rambled nonstop, hoping the day they would meet would arrive faster.
