Alex's POV.
“Your total is 75 thousand dollars.”
I almost dropped my card when I took it out to pay, Sophia's shocked expression gets me every time.
I decided to take her shopping right after we left the park.
“You're fucking insane, you know that?” She says as we walk out of the store.
“I don't know what you're talking about,” I responded.
“You just bought jewelry for 75k, how are you calm right now?” her steps speed up as she tries to keep up with my strides.
I chuckle slightly as we continue to walk through the different stores, heading towards the exit.
As we walk, I see her glance at a new collection of dresses, she smiles slightly but covers it up when we walk out.
My black Rolls-Royce is parked outside and I walk ahead, opening the door for her and then getting in myself.
“Thank you. This is insane.” She opened the boxes examining all the different jewellery I bought for her.
I leaned over and kissed her temple then resumed driving. She's grown a little more comfortable around me which I love.

Sophia's POV.
The next morning, I woke up with a huge fat smile on my lips. Last night was ecstatic!
After spending some time at the park, he took me shopping, spending an outrageous amount of money.
After that, we got some dinner at a fancy restaurant, of course considering how Mr Hayes doesn't enter anywhere if it doesn't scream money.
Last night, I saw a different side to him. He was more carefree, informal, and more smiles and laughs. Of course, I've been flattered by his smiles many times before but this time, it seemed more genuine than ever.
And oh his laugh!
It was like the most melodious sound to ever touch my ears. His nature last night was very laid back. I was loving this side of him.
He even kissed me goodnight after dropping me off and If I had not fallen for him before, I would fall quicker than ever.
I didn't know if it was a good or bad thing to gather a liking towards him but I was willing to give this a shot.
The feeling that I get whenever I'm around him is too magical. My heart instantly flutters on hearing his voice and the butterflies in my stomach are always ready to fly out of their cage in his presence.
What I had noticed these last few days was that he had stopped calling me by my name or surname and rather addressed me with those lovable words that made my heart go crazy. He never misses a chance to touch me.
Public place or not, he would find every suitable chance to touch me, hold me close, kiss me—
Oh, his lips!
His lips were as soft as feathers and they worked magically on mine like they were meant for each other. The way he worshiped my body was a huge turn-on for me and the fact that I affected him too in certain ways, made me smile and feel special.
All these while, I had denied my feelings for him but now, I was willing to take it somewhere, anywhere.
I’m not going to trade how I feel for Alex for anything in this world.
For the first time in years, someone was able to make me feel special, make me feel things I had never felt before, make me do things I had never done before, and make my heart flutter like crazy.
With a huge smile still planted on my lips, I did my routine before going to the kitchen to make some chicken sandwiches.
Yes, I was going to have a chicken sandwich for breakfast and no I did not mind it at all. Just as I was about to serve me some breakfast, Steph entered the kitchen.
“Steph!” I exclaimed happily and hugged her tightly as I was not able to do that last night considering how she was almost half asleep on the living room couch by the time I got home.
Why she was waiting for me in the first place was still a mystery to me because I remember telling her not to wait up for me and just sleep if we got too late but I guess she must've been waiting for me in case anything went bad.
She was wonderful.
“Steph, Looking at the huge smile on your lips and glow on your face, I'd like to assume that last night went by amazingly well and you have made some chicken sandwich so let's dig in the food while you fill me in on everything that happened last night and I mean every single thing. Yeah?”
“Okay,” I retorted, smiling.
We walked towards the dining table. I served her a sandwich and then took a bite of my own as I began telling her everything that happened last night, with me smiling all the while and her squealing now and then.
“That's absofuckinglutely amazing Soph!” She said and took a big bite out of the sandwich. “Eww gross,” I said, scrunching my nose.
“Gross is everything you've been doing with your boss. I can't believe you get to tap such a hot male.”
Oh, now she agrees he's hot.
“Get your mind off the gutter,” I replied laughing.
She just gulped down some orange juice and walked towards the living room, plopping herself down on the couch and switching on the television.
“By the way, I have something to tell you.” She mumbled, looking anywhere but my face.
Now that's a first!
“What is it?” I shifted towards her, waiting for her to continue.
“I kind of met someone.” A huge smile appeared on my lips and I hugged her tightly, making her cheeks go red.
Aww.
“Who is it?” I asked but before she could reply, something caught my attention, something on the television, something very strange and disturbing came before my view and it was a picture of Alex and I laughing, holding each other's arms, and several other pictures of us kissing.
The picture was taken at the restaurant last night with the heading loud and clear—
‘Has this billionaire secretly tied the knot?’
