Chapter 31
Lumiria's heart raced as she found herself in an unprecedented situation, trapped beneath the weight of Vinicius Sabino, a mischievous ninja who had unexpectedly become her client. Fear gnawed at her insides as she grappled with the urgent need to extricate herself from this precarious predicament.
Every fiber of her being screamed for escape, her mind racing with strategies to navigate this unforeseen dilemma. She had always been resourceful, but now, with the stakes higher than ever, she needed to summon every ounce of cunning and resilience she possessed.
As Vinicius hovered above her, his presence a suffocating reminder of the danger lurking in the shadows, Lumiria's mind raced with possibilities. She couldn't afford to succumb to panic; instead, she had to remain calm and composed, her wits sharp and her instincts honed.
With a silent prayer to whatever forces may be listening, Lumiria focused her thoughts on devising an escape plan. Every second counted, every movement calculated as she sought a way out of this tangled web of deceit and danger. The same thing she did to him, she had to admit.
“Oh, really, not now. If he wakes up, he will call the police.”
“No, he won’t” he said, his lips vibrating on her necks. That made everything more difficult.
Giovanni moved and Vinicius didn’t even feared.
“Stop it. You will wake him up”
When she noticed, his hand has on Giovanni’s head, calming him down.
“Body has memory” he whispered.
Oh my god. This boy has no limits.
“Are you revenging?”
“I told you I would make you to learn a lesson”
She sighed, grabbing his head and Giovanni’s and, once again, Vinicius was in the boy’s dream.
The capoeira teacher was back there, at the library where he had to seduce Giovani so the Sucubbus illusion would be more efficient to take the energy.
As he stealthily crept through the dimly lit corridors, the faint strains of a haunting ballet melody caressed his ears, drawing him like a siren's call. The door stood ajar, a beacon in the shadows, inviting him into a clandestine world he never knew existed.
Entering cautiously, his breath caught in his throat as he beheld the breathtaking scene before him. The vast expanse of the ballet space lay before him, illuminated by soft, ethereal lights that seemed to dance in time with the music. At the center of it all, Giovanni, the enigmatic dancer, moved with a grace and power that defied comprehension, his every step a symphony of passion and intensity.
But it was not Giovanni alone who held his gaze. Across the stage, a vision of beauty emerged from the darkness, her dark hair cascading like a waterfall around her as she moved in perfect harmony with her partner. Lumiria, the name echoed in his mind like a whispered secret, her presence electrifying the air with a palpable tension that seemed to draw him in, despite his better judgment.
As the dance unfolded before him, the boy felt a weight lift from his shoulders, a sense of liberation washing over him like a tidal wave. With each fluid movement, Giovanni and Lumiria seemed to cast a spell, their chemistry igniting a fire within him that he had never known existed.
And then, in a moment of clarity amidst the swirling chaos, he realized the truth. It wasn't just the dance that held him captive, it was the unspoken connection between Giovanni and Lumiria, a bond forged in the fires of passion and desire.
As Giovanni twirled around the room, his gaze locked with Lumiria's, Vinicius couldn't help but wonder. Was it the dreamy allure of their sexual performance some minutes before that enchanted him so, or was there something more, something deeper, that stirred within his soul to make him dance like that?
With a trembling breath, he watched as Giovanni found his way to Lumiria once more, their bodies merging in a whirlwind of movement and emotion. And in that moment, as he stood on the precipice of the unknown, he knew that nothing would ever be the same again.
The second time he laid eyes on her, she seemed transformed, shedding the layers of formality like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon. Clad in light, airy clothes that whispered of freedom, her entire demeanor seemed to shift, exuding an aura of joy and spontaneity.
A radiant smile graced her lips, illuminating her features with an infectious glow that seemed to banish the shadows of uncertainty from his mind. It was as if she had stepped into a new realm of possibility, leaving behind the constraints of the past to embrace the boundless potential of the present.
Yet, despite her initial intentions, she found herself swept away by the infectious energy of the moment, drawn to him like a moth to a flame. What began as a simple attempt to escape the weight of the situation soon blossomed into an unexpected journey of laughter and camaraderie, their shared experiences weaving a tapestry of memories that would linger long after the night had faded into dawn.
In his presence, she discovered a side of herself she had long forgotten, a carefree spirit yearning to break free from the shackles of responsibility. Together, they danced through the night, their laughter echoing like music in the air, each moment etched in the fabric of their souls.
As the night wore on and the world outside faded into oblivion, she realized that sometimes, the most unexpected detours lead to the greatest adventures. And in his arms, she found not just an escape, but a glimpse of the joy and freedom she had been searching for all along.
Vinicius sighed. He felt bad for a moment. He didn’t know much about the truth from her world, but felt for a moment she didn’t have choice to live a different live.
But wait. That would not make any sense.
He would never feel bad if he had to take some steps to the Above world and feel something happy there, because he had his nature from the the Earth.
As the days passed by, he felt something was really weird with Lumiria nature. She had more human nature than a Sucubbus.
Lost in the labyrinth of his own thoughts, Vinicius remained oblivious to the approaching figures of Lumiria and Giovanni. As the capoeira practitioner's eyes widened in realization, he swiftly maneuvered behind a conveniently bent structure to discreetly change his clothes, hoping to avoid any unnecessary attention.
"You were absolutely phenomenal out there. Excellent job, my friend," Lumiria's voice, tinged with pride and admiration, broke through his reverie. Her ability to uplift others never ceased to amaze him; it was a trait she had always possessed, as he recalled from their shared memories of a K-pop presentation in Macapá.
"Thank you, Lumiria. You were incredible too. Why haven't you signed up for the our academy festival?" he inquired, genuinely curious. However, her response was laced with a hint of self-doubt, a rare vulnerability that seemed out of place on someone as inherently talented as her.
“I’m gonna get some water. Do you want to?” Giovanni offered.
Damn. His dream is so real.
She noded.
Before he could delve deeper into the conversation, Giovanni's departure prompted Vinicius to swiftly pull Lumiria behind the changing wall, urgency etched in his expression.
Her eyes were wide.
"Seriously, Bring me back to his dreams?” he admonished, his tone tinged with concern. However, her defiant gaze met his, a silent challenge sparking between them.
“His mom or he could wake up. Stop being such a troublemaker. You’re not like this. I know you’re trying to get some revenge because of what I did to you.”
His eyes widened this time.
“Oh my god, Lumiria Jeon, you’re really not that naïve. I knew it.” That was some real satisfaction on Vinicius face, like he got a trophy for figuring out the fraud of the year.
“Yes, I’m not. And don’t even try anything or I will scream to Giovanni and you will have to give a really good explanation”
He left a nasal laugh and placed his elbow on the wall above her head.
“Try it.”
She arched her eye browns, crossing her arms, challenging him. His lips curved finding really cute she trying to look defiance.
Their tense standoff was interrupted by the sound of the wall crumbling, revealing Giovanni standing there, mouth agape in shock. In a bold move, Vinicius unveiled the truth of their existence within Giovanni's dream, his words hanging heavy in the air.
“She is a sucubbus. We’re on your dream, and I’m not a teacher, I’m her hooker helping to take off your energy.” He said everything without any guilty.
She sighed, showing her wings and glowering her eyes.
Realization dawned on him as she revealed her true nature, her wings unfurling in a display of otherworldly power. Vinicius couldn't help but feel a surge of admiration and trepidation in equal measure, realizing the extent of her capabilities.
As Lumiria revealed her true form and locked eyes with Giovanni, the young ballet dancer couldn't help but wonder what other secrets lay hidden beneath the surface of their shared reality, and what consequences awaited them in the waking world.
As lumiria just wondered what the hell was Vinicius Sabino real intentions.
