President Office of GEG Group.
"Mr Huo, here is her personal information. Her name is Linda Yun, an identical twin sister of Mary Yun"With it, Joe Guo handed some portfolios to Michael Huo.
"I see."The man just responded faintly he didn't seem to be very surprised and was still busy with his work.
On seeing that, Joe Guo stepped out of the room and closed the door.
After signing on the last page of the contract, he put his pen down.
Then he took the portfolio, opened it and skimmed through.
Linda Yun was 20 years old, she went to Lin Yue College in Phoenix City.
She and Mary Yun were identical twins, born of James Yun and his ex-wife Patricia Bai.
But they soon got divorced for Patricia Bai had an affair. His ex-wife didn't gain any divorce compensation and then moved to Phoenix City with her fancy man.
Raised up by this kind of family, Mary Yun was lack of manners ever since she was little. What was more, she was greedy and dishonest. She stole things and even aborted twice when she was in middle school. Her private life was just all messed up.
Playing innocent, timid, kind, and coy had been her favorite trick.
While Patricia Bai got gastric cancer last year and was abandoned by her lover.
Their lives became extremely hard after that. Helped by Mary Yun, Patricia Bai finally got the chance to have medical treatment.
But as for Linda Yun, she was caught grabbing another woman's husband in Phoenix City half a year earlier so she had to sold the apartment and move to Austral City with her mother.
After reading this, the man frowned for a few minutes.
Then he just tossed these files into a dustbin.
In the Yun's mansion.
"What?"Mary Yun came to Gu Liangchen right away as she stepped into the room,"Mom, are you saying that he made an investigation on Linda Yun's identity?"
"Yeah, he might have met her, otherwise he couldn't have done that."A cup of coffee in hand, Gu Liangchen said calmly.
After hearing this, Mary Yun was worried and said anxiouly,"Actually he did come to hospital frequently these days. He must have met that bitch in the hospital. Mom, what should I do? What if he's taken interest in her and finds out the truth?"
Gu Liangqin put her coffee cup down, staring at her,"Mary, how many times do I have to repeat this? Do not panic in adversity! You were born to be rich and privileged, so don't fret and stay calm!"
"But... I..."
"She is much better than you at this!"Gu Liangchen interrupted.
Of course, You Na knew who she mentioned, so she pouted,"I'm just worried. You see, the engagement party will be held in just two days. What if something unexpected happens... then..."
"It takes us a lot to get you engaged with him, and I've covered everything."Gu Lingchen rubbed her head and convinced her,"You can rest assured that he won't be spotting anything else for I've fabricated false information and materials on her mother and her."
"Well,"Mary Yun was a little bit confused,"Mommy, you fabricated them?"
"I knew she couldn't obey your Dad's order to stay in Tung Cheng. Now that she doesn't behave, I'll let this bad girl go to hell!"
The fire of revenge glittering in her eyes, Gu uplifted the corner of her mouth for everything was in her control.
"Thanks, mommy, you're the best!"Mary Yun hugged her tightly and pouted.
She did hate Linda Yun.
She did not like someone else having the same face as hers.
She hated it more that Mary Yun didn't present any humble manner. On the contrary, she had a sense of decency and calmness though she was raised up in a small town.
This was the reason why Gu Liangchen said she was always anxious and her sister was much better than her in this aspect.
"Well, by the way, where is my Dad?"Mary Yun stood up, looked around but caught no glimpse of James Yun.
"You Dad must have gone to the hospital."Gu Liangchen smiled and took a sip of the coffee.
"What? he's at the hospital? Why didn't you come with him? What if he sees that woman... and feels pitiful for her?"
The woman she referred to was her long hated birth mother.
"Ah hah,"Gu chuckled, and said with assurance,"I guess... your Dad is much more disgusted with her than you!"
"Why?"Mary Yun just didn't get it.
She didn't like Patricia Bai for she was not raised by her and she was not familiar with this mother.
But why would dad hate her guts now that they had been married for a couple of years?
"Well, this is none of your business. Now go put on a face mask. You are picking out a dress tomorrow and getting engaged the day after tomorrow! As the future Mrs. Huo, you need to present your best condition."
"Thanks, mom!"Mary Yun kissed her on the cheek, giggling, and went up stairs.
"Well, well, well,"Gu Liangchen snorted, raised her eyebrows and murmured,"Patricia Bai, I'll always win!"
